Crazy Lu Seafood Shack

Their food and services is exceptional the place is great and clean, there's a lot of Cajun places in horn lake but this one is the one, you haven't had Cajun food if you haven't had Crazy Lu. My family and I love their food and the fact that they have a drive thru is so convenient, we often have this on the weekends, I can't recommend them enough! My favorite thing to get is the crazy bag #1 with Cajun little hot and the Rockefeller Oysters that we share with the family.

First time here and will definitely be back. The food was hot and delicious. Some of the best tasting fried okra I've eaten in a long time. I'm really picky when it comes to good authentic food from certain areas as with seafood. It has to be fresh and cooked well. Louisiana is known for authentic Cajun cuisine but sometimes you can find a place that can make it the same as if you were there or close to it. The food I tasted was as close to fresh fish as you could get. The atmosphere was good and the service was excellent. Loved the conversation and humor of the management and staff. Pleasure to dine here. Can't wait to return.

For my 1st experience the people were nice, but the food was horrible. It tastes like it was over cooked in old oil and for the price for a plate and to not get full, unacceptable. Not to mention they made one of the orders with the wrong side. The Mac and cheese is like it sits in water.I do not recommend this place , unless they change their cooking oil and get a timer so they don't make the food dry and way over done.

The man packing the order was so nice (he wore glasses in case he reads this). Yet his friendly and helpful demeanor can't save the taste of the food. The only thing I liked were the grilled oysters. The shrimp fried rice was greasy just like a previous person said. Hate i didn't listen and avoided buying it. The chicken gizzards were mushy like they were not cooked all the way. I don't think I will be going back.

I ordered shrimp fried rice and while the portion was huge, it was very greasy and had very little flavor. I had to add hot sauce to it in order to kick it up a notch. I usually eat my leftovers but they went in the trash...I didn't want an upset stomach from all the grease.

The garlic butter sauce is next level. Go ahead and order extra corn for your bag and it'll be more substantial. Or be like us and walk right back up to order just corn because it was that good! Staff were attentive to check that we had what we needed. Not sure how I feel about the gloves, still had to wash my hands after.

I thought it was too expensive for what we got and it wasn't all that great. Definitely don't recommend.

A great place for seafood !! Order at the counter and if you don't know what to have they sure will help you decide ! And please grab a margarita too ! Choose a seat and the deliciousness will be out so fast ! Hot fresh prepared food! We chose shrimp fried rice with gravy , grilled oysters, popcorn shrimp and catfish.

The food was great. The service too. The ambiance was great. Definitely recommend the gumbo. Shout out to Lou
