Crazy Cactus

Really good food. Really good service. Really good Margaritas, th eSunday special. Really , really good. They have a mandatory 15% gratuity. That's a pain because they don't really tell you and it should be higher. Not good for the servers.Some would say it's a bit expensive for Mexican food but I don't think so. Prices are up everywhere.

Food was pretty good (see attached photos). The free salsa that came with the complimentary corn chips was too salty. My dinner companions really liked the various flavors of frozen margaritas that they had.Service was friendly and fairly efficient. The manager came by the table and said hi. He recognized some of my family members who had visited several times previously.Ambience was okay. It's just a cinder block building without any real redeeming artistic significance.For those dining inside of the restaurant, there is a mandatory, 18% gratuity, automatically added to the check.The men's restroom was relatively clean. There's a baby changing station only within the women's restroom.

Food was good, service was great.So why only three stars? No business should dictate how much a customer should tip. This business automatically includes the tip. Not a good business plan and if the service had been poor sometimes a zero tip is deserving. It's bad enough Biden economics has raised inflation everywhere, don't need businesses doing the same.

We ordered take-out from here and the experience was just ok.We got two santa fe burritos, a crazy burger with fries, and some street tacos. The street tacos were decent, good filling but not much flavor. The Santa Fe burritos were wonderful. The crazy burger was not that good.The fries did not come with any ketchup. They charged us extra for a very small amount of salsa.

A lot of the low rating reviews are people being petty, or perhaps they didn't go to the same Crazy Cactus in OB that I go to. My wife and I have eaten here at least 25 times and have brought friends and family here when they visit. In all of those visits you would think that we'd experience one of the issues that the one-star folks talked about. In all of our visits the food had been delicious and brought to the table in a timely manner (even when we had an eight top). The service has always been exceptional, very friendly and prompt with refills. The atmosphere is great, not too loud but not awkwardly quiet. So again, I'm not sure where these other folks ate, but we'll always be back to eat at our favorite Mexican restaurant: Crazy Cactus.

The worst Mexican restaurant! I ordered dinner from this restaurant using Uber eats on 2 occasions and both the times the order was wrong. The enchilada suizas should be only chicken and I got beef and chicken. I don't eat beef. The entire order tasted nasty. My earlier experience was equally bad but I thought I will give them a second chance but looks like I shouldn't have. Never ordering from this establishment again!

This place will try to make a quarter off you. One week, they add tips 10% tip and take out fee to you receipt the next week they don't. I don't mind paying but be consistent and post a sign. So please watch your receipts.

Had dinner early Friday evening. Good service and good affordable food. Would recommend for a quick evening bite.

Oh...my...sweet baby Jesus! This place is AMAZING! The salsa actually had flavor and the molcajete was the best we've had. Rice was perfect

Terrible, horrible I will never go back again. Service sucks. Couldn't understand me. They automatically tipped gratuity with two people. And added 20% tip They suck. The food wasn't even that good overcharged never recommend again.
