Went here a few days ago and order the deep fried chicken, dumplings, greens, cornbread. The Che was great, the dumplings were cold, the cornbread was not hot, and it was hard like the just had leftover from the other day. I didn't get any condiments with my order. And this is the first time this has happened to me and I come to the location a lot, and I left a tip. Now this first bad experience has me thinking if I should go back again.

Don't rely on pictures used in advertisements. Turkey meal was not as advertised. Customer service only thru texting. Took awhile to connect but they issued a partial refund.

Update: I have been contacted by corporate, however there was not a resolution about the assistant manager and his lack of customer service skills. I am not eager to return as long as I'm aware that Curtis is still there and unwilling to assist customers. Horrible to-go service! I waited more than 45 minutes and left with no food. Assistance manager Curtis can't fix a register mistake or figure out how to simply handle a customer service issue. We ordered $45 worth of food and instead an associate tried to ring up over $90 worth of food. I've been visiting this Cracker Barrel for years and I'm extremely disappointed.

Love this Cracker Barrel. Idk why there's so many bad reviews.I usually get good service and the food is delicious! The only thing I'll prob will never get is steak. It's super dry.The pancakes. Tenders, everything is yum!It is not bland in my opinion.I feel like this is one of the better locations here.

We live nearby and have eaten here a number of times since in general, we like Cracker Barrel. However, this location typically has terrible service. It is Chronically understaffed. Tried curbside pickup. 45 minutes late and I had to go in and remind them I was where. I do t think they even started our order before I gave up and went inside.

It pains me to write this review because I've been a Cracker Barrel fan my entire life.We arrived and waited about 15 minutes to be seated. Not a big deal and the host was extremely pleasant and friendly.After being seated, it was another 15-20 minutes before a waiter (Jesse) stopped by and asked if anyone had helped us yet. He then proceeded to take our order. A few minutes later he brought us a basketful of burned, crispy biscuits and butter (no silverware or napkins).I asked the manager to replace the biscuits, which she said she would do, and she did, 35 minutes later after 4 other tables got baskets of biscuits. She even brought jam! No silverware though, so I was left having to squeeze the jam from the little plastic cups onto the biscuits for the kids.After an hour, our food arrived by a different server who said she was going to try to help out since Jesse was new. My son's was wrong, having the incorrect side. Mine, the eggs were overcooked (supposed to be over easy, but the yolk was cooked mostly through), the eggs, sausage and hashbrown casserole were cold and the pancakes were covered in strawberries that I had asked not be served with them. I sent the pancakes back with a request for silverware and Tabasco and they returned quickly, cold, but at least without the strawberries. We finally got silverware! No napkins though, they didn't bring those until after we finished our meals.I waited another 10 minutes before the waitress came by and I requested my Tabasco again so I could eat my cold, overcooked meal. I also sent back the pancakes. Again. The waitress apologized, said she was taking my meal off the check and returned the pancakes to the kitchen and brought me the Tabasco.While waiting for my pancakes, Jesse brought the check. With the meal on it that they were going to remove. I still hadn't even got the full meal prepared correctly yet but they were handing me a check for it. When my pancakes did arrive, after everyone was done eating, they were hot and tasty and made correctly, as they should have been 30-40 minutes earlier. I never got the syrup I had asked for with them, but at this point, I just wanted to eat them and leave. We had to ask the manager about the meal on the check, which she did remove, as well as the kids' drinks as well.The table next to us (also being served by Jesse) was having issues with their meals and the service. The tables near us being served by others didn't seem to have any issues or complaints and their food was served much quicker than ours or Jesse's other table next to us.When we paid at the counter in the store, we were asked how things were. I told them. They asked who our server was and I said it was Jesse. They nodded and said "ah, yeah, Jesse".

Cracker Barrel in Lakeland. Today 4:30. Server was sweet, but the food was awful. Country Fried steak, I ask for gravy on the side, it was smeared all over and both were cold. Mashed potatoes cold, okra cold. The ladies next to us sent their bread plates back because they were dirty. What a mistake to go there today. To the management, you better grab ahold of your restaurant. That's the best way to spread a virus and sickness. Dirty plates and cold food! It will be a while before we come back.

Wow. This rating is totally the management's fault at this restaurant. They sent a brand new waitress onto the floor without training. Here we go: hostess asked whether the third dining room would be OK- I had never been so how would I know? Hostess said she would come back with breakfast menu. Got a knife and fork, no spoon, no napkin. Waitress couldn't explain pick two choices. Out of cole slaw. Asked if I could sub the small lunch salad for a side. Answer was yes. Asked for thousand island, she said OK. Brought out a large salad for which I knew there would be an up charge. Brought my entree at the same time but no dressing she said they didn't have thousand. She thought they only had vinegar or pickled ranch. I asked her to check. She comes back with brocolli stapled in a to-go bag. Huh? She said that's what the cook gave her and she didn't think it was right. I asked for a plate with brocolli on it. The cornbread arrived late, and she forgot the honey. She never came back with dressing choices. My husband asked again for butter and jelly for his toast. The restaurant was NOT crowded. I found her by the hostess stand and said I won't be eating the salad, please take it off the bill. Then I stood while she found some honey. My tea was never refilled. There were napkins and straw wrappers on the floor. I watched as employees stepped over them. The bill arrived, folded. She slipped it to my husband. I took it, and sure enough, she charged for a large salad. I told her to take it off the bill which she did. A waitress on the job for one day should be trained thoroughly before going it alone.
