Crab Island

Absolutely delicious. Seafood indulgence. Mountains of shrimp and nice meaty claws in this dish...and the potatoes and corn were really tasty, everything had been cooking for a long time, really flavorful! Not fishy at all. Well, it didn't smell like seafood, which is a must! The crab was interesting, they had clearly cooked it a long time, but it wasnt all dried out, it was still juicy and delicious. If i had one complaint, too much butter and seasonings lol. I mean they use ALOT OF BUTTER AND SEASONING. Very delicious, ultra messy, barbaric and lovely.

The place is dirty, from top to bottom. All the utensils had to be changed, twice. The table was sticky, as were all the floors. The men's bathroom was disgusting. I went there with a friend, and he refused to eat there. As far as the food is concerned, the crab was good, but the corn was totally overcooked to a mushy texture. When I mentioned it, the girl at the counter said: "Let me get you a fresh one". She came back with corn that was frozen on the inside and again, mush on the outside. When I mentioned that she promised a fresh one, she said, yeah, a freshly pre-prepared one, not actually fresh. Ended up throwing out all the corn. Definitely not a repeat.

Their hours have changed so don't go there during lunch -- they are now open from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm.The guy at the counter was SUPER nice! That in and of itself makes me want to support this business.I ordered the Little Island and it was great tasting! There was just enough spice and butter.Will definitely be back -- good food and great customer service!

If you are coming for the crab only, this is a decent place. Walking in, the floor looks clean but is really sticky. We walked up to the counter, and a gentleman came out and asked us if this was our first time, we said yes. He went back to the kitchen and brought us out a shrimp for each of us to try. We ordered the largest crab platter on the menu as there was three of us. No beer, and limited fountain drinks, so we opted for a bottled drink from a stand up cooler. Crab came out soon after we sat. The butter and seasoning were already added to the platter which made for pretty messy eating. I personally prefer a side of butter to dip with, but that wasn't offered. Ambiance needs work, but the food is good

OMG!! I have so much to say!!I'm a complete sucker for customer service, and this was TOP NOTCH. We were unsure about what menu option we wanted, so we settled on the $39.99 platter. And wouldn't you know it, the mgr said that he'd give us the $50 platter anyway. He did.... but... while we were eating, the mgr brought out ADDITIONAL clusters just because!!!Now... the food!!! We. Ate. Everything. (Lol)I'm so glad I was wearing sweatpants because I was done!! I was so stuffed, but I couldn't stop eating!! It was just that good. *And I've gone back twice since.Truly, there's a seafood boil spot on almost every corner now. But THIS place stands out among the crowd!

I went here with my family yesterday and this is hands down some of the best food I've ever had! I especially loved the sausage, shrimp, corn, and potatoes. The owner was so friendly and kind. We highly recommend checking this out!

Awesome food and nice gentleman who brought the delicious food out to our table. Crabs, shrimp, potatoes, sausage and corn were all delicious! Portions are huge so we ended up with leftovers. We enjoyed the food. We'll be back! Thank you

We went Valentine's Day weekend and had such an amazing experience! The chef even came out and asked how everything was and they gave us an extra set of crab legs. I'm assuming for the special occasion. They were amazing and the food was so good and honestly, you got a lot of bang for your buck.

We were looking for shrimp & found so much more! I can't say enough good things about this place. The chef was very personable & the hostess was the sweetest little thing. Absolutely a hidden treasure in the Dirty Dova!!
