As a place that could easily accommodate large groups it became evident this morning at breakfast that this place prefers not to have large regular groups. The owner does not like for people to move tables in order to accommodate. They rather have you wait while the staff stops to take time to move tables as they have time. The food is subpar even on some of the good days. The regular wait staff is probably one of the only good things at this place. As it is sad that they would have to put up with that kind of management. The owner has a bad attitude to anyone that may oppose her. And in her words "the customer is not always right. Will not return as long as that place is under that kind of ownership and management.

I used to eat here on a weekly basis a couple years ago. Went in Saturday morning, after not visiting in a long time, with my lady. A table of maybe 6 an another table of 2 came in shortly after us. Both of the other tables received service before we did. We were not there terribly long, but none of the 3 waitresses even acknowledged our existence. They knew we were there, as they each looked at us as they passed by. We decided to leave and spend our money elsewhere. I can't comment on the food, as we didn't eat, but a couple years ago it was really good. Doubt that has changed. Just know you won't be served or greeted until the regulars are served. I was a regular a couple years ago. Pretty sure I won't be back.

Name says it all! Just passing through on a road trip and found this place. The breakfast club sandwich was great, and the servers were friendly. Definitely a local rustic vibe.

Great food and friendly customer service. It is located a bit off the beaten path but worth the short drive.

Almost didn't come here because of the one bad review, but their Facebook page has a ton of recent 5 star reviews and thank God I saw it. Because this place is my new favorite. Our waitress, Vicky was an angel and so friendly. The owner, Rocky came to our table and noticed my mom had leftover pancakes and asked if she would like him to cook her another stack in case they weren't good-but she was just full! :) The place is clean, quiet and the food is exceptional. Farm fresh eggs, the bacon is thick and delicious, pancakes are fluffy from scratch, and the coffee is great. They also have WiFi. Rocky told us they have all you can eat fish fry on fridays! Everyone is delightful. We will be back soon.

You'll pass right by it and not even know it! Country Kitchen is located in the Gulf Gas station. Don't pass up the biscuits and gravy! You'll know it's supported heavily by the locals.. So just tip your hat and enjoy!

I am from out of town and was looking for a place to eat breakfast, I used my Yelp app to find this cafe. The cafe is next door to a Gulf station and you will miss it if you are not careful. Be careful pulling in and out of the parking lot because there are huge holes in the gravel. The cafe is a typical small town diner that is frequented by the locals and the waitress knows their names. The waitress was friendly and brought the coffee pot by several times to refill my cup. The restroom was clean and the overall appearance of the cafe was clean. The food was what you would expect from such an establishment. I would eat here again if I was back in town and wanted a small town diner breakfast.

Family and I were in Searcy staying about a mile away and looking for a place for brunch on Sunday with our college son before heading back to Texas. I wanted to support the local businesses especially during times of COVID instead of the chain (IHOP). Website said breakfast served 6AM - 2PM (open hours). Long story short, Took us 15 mins to get a waitress to check on us. Told us breakfast was cutoff with the last table (10:55AM) cause they were behind. Only to see breakfast being served to other customers 30 mins later. Took 30 more minutes for our lunch order to arrive. All in all we ate our so so lunch in 5 mins for our 90 min at the table with sub par service. All I could say over and over was sorry to my family. I was thinking something different. Clearly not a a good place for non locals. Will go to IHOP next time in town.

Thought this was going to be a good little cheap restaurant to grab something to eat at. I got the chicken fried chicken. It was a frozen piece of a chicken patty with watery gravy. The french fries were definitely frozen also. The toast was probably the only good thing. Paid $10 for a low quality mean. Should've went to waffle house and got way more better food for a decent price.
