Costa Mexican Grill

I thought costa had some good food and drinks! I've been twice now and the tortillas do get soggy! Depending on what drinks you get - some are very sweet , some are super strong . Honestly I think it depends on the margarita flavor! Good prices - a large margarita is 12$ but the food is decent priced as well. The workers are fast and attentive. Lots of quick service and nice workers!!! The environment of the restaurant is definitely fun and family friendly but not very classy ! A typical Mexican restaurant... the location is quite the haul , it's a little out of the main town . They do birthdays super well- free shot , sombrero, pied in the face, and a song! All super fun.Overall I will be coming here again!!!

We went on a game weekend Friday around 6, we were seated quickly, but they had one poor waitress working the back room. The room has horrible acoustics so it was SO loud and we couldn't hear the people at our table as there were two tables of 8+ who were loud! We also were seated under an air vent that was wide open, it was cold that weekend so arctic air wasn't ideal. The food was good basic Tex Mex, but we had to wait over an hour to get it :) two tacos, one quesadilla and street tacos.... I would like to go back when it wasn't so crowded to better evaluate. The waitress was trying hard, but they absolutely need to staff more to the room if they are going to seat it full. The chips were very good. Decent salsa. The skinny margarita was more fruit drink than margarita tasting, but wasn't awful. Street tacos were good and other items were as expected.

Coming from South Texas, I sought out an authentic Mexican cuisine. Baby! This is not that! Food was subpar at best. The one star though is for the service. Walked in; hostess directed us to the 2nd dining room. No problem until my son noticed that all the blacks in the restaurant were seated in the same area. Wait, what. Nah, I don't believe we're still segregating in the year of our Lord, 2022. Under the guise of going to the restroom, I notice that yep, the main dining room is free of melanin. Should have rolled out then but we were starving. The one waiter assigned to our area had a large party so we waited 15 minutes for drink orders and then he had the audacity to wanna come back for entree orders. We've had plenty of time to decide. Lets not wait. Anyway, the food came out fairly quickly. That's always a good thing! We ate immediately and left.

Just opened not too long ago and wanted to try it out. I've been back many times now. There are a lot of Mexican places to eat at in Oxford, but Costa is now my first choice. I've never had to wait , and the staff has always been super friendly and provided good service. The food is always amazing, and their large queso is so big it comes with a ladle . A little slow on the drink refills at times, but what place isn't. I will continue to go back, and if you haven't been I atleast recommend trying it out.

I got a taco which had gray unseasoned meat and was only warm. Also, was supposed to get a chalupa but was served a tostada. The beans on the bottom were not hot. The guacamole was runny and so was the sour cream. A big disappointment. I said nothing about getting tostada and not chalupa it wasn't a big deal. But when it wasn't good it became a big deal. The service was good and polite. The place is cute. Maybe I just didn't select well.

Food was good, but it took over 40 min for us to get our dinner after ordering it. They also took my margarita away b/c "the bar closed at 9pm." I had not been drinking it in order to have with my food; we were still charged for it.

The food was delicious and the margaritas are good too. Our service was great! We always enjoy Costa Mexican Grill.

We were visiting Ole Miss this weekend on a college visit and found Costa. Everyone was very happy. We got an entire cauldron of queso with a ladle. Street tacos were amazing.

The best Mexican food, beverages and services I have ever had! Very clean and excellent staff! Very helpful and accommodating, we will be back soon and often.
