Connie's Chicken

We found the place last year traveling from Florida. Food was good, we promised a manager to share information about the restaurant within friends, etc. We stopped a few days ago again on our way home. What a disappointment. Chicken was overecooked, very dark, mashed potatoes given in a small container. Gravy had no taste. A girl there messed up our chicken with very spicy one....Traveling again we will stop someplace else to eat! Too bad, the old manager was gone!

Service was good. We had chicken tenders and bone-in chicken. They were both just okay. Onion rings were delicious and so were the blueberry donuts. The place was clean but the ambiance was nothing special. It was expensive and we will not go back.

Driving home from Jackson going thru West Point and right in front of me was a brand new Connie's Fried Chicken. I have been eating at Connie's in Tupelo for many years and have always considered their onion rings the second best in the world. Recently with the decline of Corky's onion rings in Memphis I've moved them to number one if only for consistency- they are the very best and have never disappointed. My son tried their chicken tenders and rated them tops as well. Conveniently located just off Hwy 45 with great parking. Look forward to stopping here often in the future.

The chicken and gravy tasted wonderful. The staff is very helpful and kind and the service was fast.

Visited the West Point location today. Blue berry donuts still warm. We ordered the chicken biscuits and a tenderloin. Hubby said he rates 10-10 fresh and delicious. Experienced the sweetest employee Mrs. Mazzie she's a doll so thoughtful.

The food was Season 2 perfection.. The place was very well kept. It was a lot of love coming out from behind that kitchen. Customer service was great. Jill was great even though i was thousands of miles away from home i felt at home...

First time to tried Connie's Chicken, it did not disappoint. I got the 2 piece dinner spicy with mashed potatoes. I didn't gravy because I thought it was brown. Next time I will definitely get the mashed potatoes with white gravy. This is just a quick stop for fast food for us.

Food was hot and fresh! Dining area was clean & service was great. Jill was very friendly!
