I went in for lunch on Feb. 6th and the experience was great. I ordered a 6 piece spicy chicken with fries. The chicken was fresh and flavorful. I will say don't order six expecting to eat them all, they are huge. The fries were well seasoned and perfectly fried. I did enjoy the old style fries more but that is just a personal preference. The roll I had was so soft and buttery that I wish I had a few more. The Coke is very well balanced unlike most restaurants. Connie's first started off in Oxford and caught a bad rep. If you didn't like it when they first opened, give it another chance as the food tastes much fresher and the restaurant is very clean.

Coleman here; Place slapppsssss! I had the 25 piece family catering order I spread it around my front yard and crawled around on my hands and knees scavenging for each delicious piece. I put the mash potatoes in the dryer and forgot about them but I'll get them next time and let y'all know. 10/10 would recommend!

Where to start? The chicken had no taste. The coleslaw was salty enough to give 3 grown men high blood pressure. The onion rings almost broke my teeth they were so hard. The rolls looked great, but were cold and tasteless. The parking lot was a nightmare to navigate. The table we sat at moved any time you barely touched it. The employees were nice, but that's the only things I can say nice about the whole visit. I understand why it's Friday night that at 8pm on a home game weekend for Ole Miss and it's empty.

Ordered spicy chicken tenders and they were extremely overcooked and dry. Very disappointed. We really wanted to like Connie's but if they can't get chicken tenders right then they should just close their doors.

Brand new in Oxford. Very nice facility.Casual. Staff were friendly and helpful. You order at the counter from a limited menu then someone brings your food to your table when it's ready. We had 3 pc Chicken tenders. Includes a side and a drink for $8.99. I had spicy tenders with Mac 'n cheese side. She ordered original tenders with mashed potatoes. The spicy tenders were appropriately spicy but not hot, and not very tender, perhaps not freshly cooked. The mac 'n cheese was cheesy but also not hot. She liked the original tenders. Light and rightly seasoned.Behind the counter were several pans of cooked chicken pieces just sitting. Letting chicken sit out even under heat lamps detracts from its flavor and tenderness. I prefer freshly cooked chicken, still hot from the kitchen, rather than picked out of a tray, cooked who-knows-when. We might give Connie's another try after they shake down their process.

Connie's shows potential. The space is large and welcoming. The employees greet you when you enter. It's a counter order setup like most fast food chicken places. The staff at the counter are friendly and ready to answer questions about the menu.Got the spicy dark meat chicken combo with mashed potatoes and gravy. Got slaw as an additional side. The chicken had good flavor. The "spicy" lived up to its name. It won't blow your head off, but it certainly lets you know it isn't the regular chicken. The chicken has a lighter breading than other places. It was nice and crispy without being too heavy. One of my drumsticks was a bit dry for dark meat, but the other pieces were good. The mashed potatoes and slaw were pretty standard stuff. Solid but unremarkable. The customer service was great. The young man, Josh, that brought my food out and later followed up was very friendly and eager to make sure the customers had a good experience. Connie's has potential to be another great fried chicken option in town. They are still fairly new, so they have yet to hit their stride.

This place horrible. The first time I went I had to get a complete refund because they left items out of my order, and the food I did receive was not good. You can get better chicken at a gas station. The second time I went I got 2 biscuits and they charged me 79 cents for a piece of CHEESE and 1.99 for an EGG!! LIKE REALLY?!?! 14$ for a chicken egg and cheese and a sausage egg and cheese biscuit!!! On top of that the biscuit was soggy and the chicken was mostly bread. I could get the same thing at a gas station for less than half the price. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY AT THIS PLACE!!!

Blueberry donuts are to die for! I will definitely be making trips to Oxford to get these. Go try them for yourself. You will be so glad you did.

They just opened here in Oxford so we were excited to try it. The drive through took 20 minutes and the dining room seemed closed so no other options to order. There was no corn or vegetable of the day like the other locations. It was pretty expensive at $57 for 2 people. My son's fried chicken and fries were good to him. My strips were undercooked with soggy crust and light colored. My green beans were too vinegar tasting. The mac & cheese had no taste at all. The mashed potatoes tasted like they were from a bad box of instant, bland and gross not at all what was expected from a southern restaurant. The gravy could have been good if it had any seasoning. Tasted like wallpaper paste. I asked for a large tea and they charged me for a regular. They should really put vegetables in a separate bowl as it was quite messy by the time I got home. A very disappointing experience and not sure I'll waste my money on me but my son liked it so will get for him.
