Hello My name is Steve I'm from Maryland I've been to Codys twice and I can tell you for certain the place is great I was there in 2005 then came back again with my wife 2 years later and the bartender remembered me . The Ribeye steak is great and the people in the bar ,employees and customers were wonderful We felt very much appreciated and welcome. In fact as we were leaving a fellow came running up behind us , I pushed my wife behind me because I thought it was a threat , BUT the fellow just stuck out his hand and thanked us for coming by. Cody's is a memory I will carry with me forever, Anyone traveling through TN should make Codys a stop You won't be disappointed

Not a bad place. Hit it on a weekend and the place was packed. Dance floor was going good. A little louder then I liked because holding down a conversation with someone was tricky. Had to get right in their ear and yell. Beer pricing was par. Bartender got confused and charged me for items I never ordered, lucky it was fixed before final payment was done.

My bartender, Adam, absolutely amazing!!! I love him and he definitely deserves a raise!!! However, the homophobia from the owner and bouncer were out of this world!! They call themselves a dance hall but if you're LGBTQ+ forget about going here!! The owner isn't welcoming or friendly towards LGBTQ. He is very conservative and misogynistic. Apparently only females are allowed on the dancing poles. There were only 3 customers in the building including myself and my 2 friends. Yet I wasn't "allowed" to dance on the pole. We love you Adam!! Get a better job, they obviously don't appreciate you here!!!
