Coastal Fish Company

Everything about our experience at Coastal was fantastic. From the moment we walked in the door. Pretty much the best server(s) experience we've had lately - anywhere. Everything we ordered was beyond our expectations. We had been waiting a while to dine here -- worth it. One thing I would say is reservations can be difficult if not well in advance.There is an outdoor and indoor dining area -- every table was filled both inside and outside. We ate inside -- the atmosphere was "alive" and festive, but the noise level was manageable so that we could enjoy conversation.There is valet parking that we used. We'll be back here for sure at some point.

Another delightful dinning experience at Costal Fish Company. Food was superb in both flavor and presentation (Calamari, Caesar Salad, Salmon, Sword Fish). Paige-M, our Server, was charming, attentive, and very patient.Kudos to the Kitchen Team, Managers, and Servers for consistently providing a great dinning experience, even when the restaurant is extremely business. That is why we confidently recommend Costal Fish Company to friends and business associates.

We had a wonderful Saturday lunch here, March 01, 2025. Our server was professional. Our food very tasty. I rarely eat fish. This dish was delicious and I would order it again.

Updating my review just to say that Coastal has outdone themselves again! The fish tacos are absolutely to die for, and the drinks were both refreshing and perfectly made. This is my go-to spot whenever I'm craving oysters--they're always fresh and delicious. Catch me here for happy hour or a fun girl dinner! I love Coastal so much and truly believe everyone should experience it at least once. Highly recommend!

Had an awesome birthday dinner for the hubs. We sat at a high top (first time). Our server was very attentive and as always, the food was superb. This restaurant has it figured out! I recommend Coastal Fish for celebrating a birthday, girls night or just a great dinner.

Coastal Fish is a great spot for dates and special occasions. The food, service, and atmosphere are stellar. Probably the highest quality seafood in Memphis. The view of the sunset over Shelby Farms is impeccable. Their cocktails are all generally good and they have a nice selection of wines. The coconut crème brûlée is a must have. Unfortunately, in my most recent experience here, the clams on my clam linguine were very chewy. I asked them for a redo on the clams, and the second round was still very chewy, so I've given up on their clams. I recommend the royal red shrimp and the tuna entrees.

Had a reservation at 7 for a party of 8 and promptly got sat! Which was great. The place was packed as always. The server was so nice and answered questions. We sat outside it was hot but pleasant. Once the sun set it was a lot better. We had an array of apps. The Shrimp Diavolo was good. The sauce was more sweet than savory but still good. Everybody said their apps were good as well. For entrees we had a couple of different items. I got the Louisiana Red fish. The actual fish was really good but I wasn't a fan of the pasta jambalaya (maybe the texture) . I wouldn't get that again. I got a mocktail that was delicious! Overall great experience will be back to try different items

My husband and I tried out @coastalfishcompany while in Memphis. It had great reviews online and it was totally worth it. The restaurant sits overlooking the water. The patio is covered and heated so even though it was 40 degrees, you wouldn't know from sitting on the patio. And service was impeccable. We started out with the wagyu oysters which are AMAZING! Never had anything like it before. Topped it off with some scallops and red fish. We are not even dessert people but the dessert menu looked so good that we had to try the warm giant cookie with vanilla ice cream. I recommend 100%!

I used to love this place and have so many great memories here--graduation events, family dinners, birthdays, and even date nights. It was my favorite spot to eat in Memphis. Unfortunately, after my last visit, I can't say the same.I went last Friday for a little me time and had the oysters and the special fish that night. What followed was the worst case of food poisoning I've ever had. I haven't been able to leave the house and even have had to take off work because of it. It's truly disappointing because this place was a favorite of mine for years, but after this experience, I can't see myself ever coming back. It's just not worth the risk. My meal was 70 bucks in which I don't mind spending but after this experience I definitely deserve my monies back.
