As someone from out of town, I rely on reviews greatly to decide where to get services done. I was on the search to get my nails done as self-care after a stressful exam week and I came across City nails. The reviews were great and they matched the service I received. Jon took care of me the second I stepped inside the door and made me feel relaxed and taken care of. They also off a student discount which is amazing! Definitely going to be coming back here and seeing Jon

While I liked the people in the salon, I did not care for my technician. He seemed incompetent, and I had to notify the technician next to me who was doing my daughter that he never filed off the top layer. She had to call him out to prepare my nails for soaking. His nails were not neat, and both of his little fingers had very long nails. He was shaky, so he squeezed my hands and fingers very hard when working on my nails. He was also rather rude, and he left the station and came back smelling of cigarette smoke. Please note that this review is for this particular technician and not the salon. My daughter had a wonderful technician, and her nails were beautifully done. I will go back again, but I will refuse to have this technician again.

I received a gift card for City Nails so came in for a dip manicure with my mom. The staff was attentive and friendly. They didn't make me feel rushed when picking my color even though it sometimes takes me forever The nail technician was kind and paid close attention to detail. He didn't rush through the process even though they were very busy. I had one nail chip 2 days later and they fixed it at no charge. After that I had zero problems, no chipping or peeling at all!! Over 5 weeks later my color was still perfect!! Of course, my nails were grown out but the fact that they didn't peel in any spot was amazing to me. My mom has had the same experience as as I did. When I had them remove the color again, they were kind and helped me right away. Definitely the best place to get a manicure!!

City Nails was recommended by a coworker and I like going here for a treat. The staff is very nice and it is never hard to get in. I usually just get a natural nail pedicure and it last for 3 weeks. I like the little extras you can add like the scrubs and massage too-very relaxing. I've always been satisfied.

My technician was John and he was very friendly, helpful and done an amazing job. I do recommend him and will return.

Have been going there for months with the same nail technician. Made an appointment for manicure and pedicure.Signed in and started the nail soaking process. After 30 minutes, hadn't seen my regular nail technician. When I asked about her, I was informed that she wouldn't be in due to a family emergency...Seriously??? Why wasn't I informed upon arrival? I am one who doesn't like changes like that...I would have rescheduled...

I left today crying from how awful Jennifer did my fill and eyebrows. I'm sitting in the parking lot writing this so people know what to expect. She rushed through it and didn't even do it correctly. You'd think being a loyal customer would mean something. NOPE. I'm beyond upset. There's still wax all over my left eyebrow and hairs everywhere she didn't get. She literally waxed me in one minute. I wish I didn't tip her 20%. I deeply regret it because she didn't deserve anything the way she treated me and the terrible job she did. She was rude to me and was wanting to rush through it to get to another set of customers waiting. There are plenty of nail salons in this town. I'm probably going to find a new place.

Dip all over my cuticles and skin along my nail bed. Sloppy work. John was rude and talked about how he hates when people make appointments (so I guess he was being passive aggressive against me) and how shitty people tip (implying to tip him well) and how he doesn't want to take people who book a $27 pedicure service (also me) because it's a waste of his time. Well John, your work is sloppy and that is why you earn bad tips. I will not be revisiting this salon. I will update if the owner responds positively to my dissatisfaction of this service. Also, I only received ONE coat of nail color polish on my pedicure!!!!....
