Ciao Bella Italian Grill and Bar

We went to celebrate a 21st birthday with a private area just for us. The staff were friendly Hadley was great as a server alone too. Spacious restaurant, bar area too. Food was hot. Quality of meat from anything with beef was interesting and not of 100% quality when it comes to bit and digestion for myself and family (sorry). Chicken and shrimp were perfect. Prices weren't too bad at all. For 3 people on my tab = $170 + gratuity (photo attached). Clean and mixed noise ambiance to fit how you feel.

Date Night, Friday (10/25/24)... "THE" Girlfriend (my wife of many years) said we was not hungry, but she wanted a "GOOD" cocktail. So, I headed to Ciao Bella, where we enjoyed another SUPERB dinning experience.KUDOS to the three ladies working the bar tonight, especially Cason. They were all EXCEPTIONALLY Engaging with us and every guest at the bar. "THE" Girlfriend enjoyed two PERFECT Pomegranate Martinis while I had two glasses of Cline's Cashmere. Also, we shared and enjoyed their Zesty Italian Chicken Wings and a 12" Margaretta Pizza. Both the wings and pizza were DELICIOUS!In both their previous and current locations, Ciao Bella has been one of our FAVORITE Date-Night spots for many years. So, we continue to HIGHLY RECOMMEND this restaurant!!!

Drove in from SE Missouri. Calamari was over cooked. Peroni draft was flat. Not sure what the idea was with fried flour tortillas w spin dip Red fish was goodSadly disappointed

Been eating at this place since it was next to Kroger. Had my son's rehearsal dinner there at the second location. Went back to the current location with eager anticipation, but was actually disappointed. Yes, food costs have gone up, but, it was not up to standards that I expected for what it cost. Did I order the wrong thing? That did not used to be a problem. Anyway, it's been 5 years since I have tried their cuisine, and it was not as good as I remembered. Lots of better places to go for Italian in Memphis.

Celebrated my last birthday dinner with friends last night. First time to try this location. Last time I visited this cool place was the former location. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with classic designs of sophistication. The lighting is sorta dim to have a warmth when dining. The ceiling lamps are very stylish and modern. My food was excellent! We started off with Eggplant fries. It was quite yummy. The batter was crunchy and the tomato sauce complimented it. I ordered the Boscaiola chicken. It was sliced thin and cooked very well. The boscaiola has mushrooms and bacon in the sauce. I am sure there is some heavy cream in the sauce. It was seasoned to perfection. I was getting full on eating the eggplant fries so I took half of my chicken home. I had a house side salad which was good. To finish the evening, I ordered the salted caramel cheesecake. I enjoyed it quite a lot! There was not any left. I had a cup of coffee too. From the time we arrived to the time we left, the entire staff was friendly and cordial. They were attentive and nice. Our waiter Trent was FANTASTIC! He was funny and made great recommendations for all of our dinner selections. The restaurant has parking right in front. There are many spaces for the patrons. The bathrooms are clean and kept well. I really had a great time and will definitely come back soon.

This was my first visit to Ciao Bella in nearly a decade and my first time in the restaurant's new (to me) location.I started with an espresso martini which was delicious -- rich and creamy and not too potent. That was followed with some of the amazing complimentary bread and olive oil dipping sauce, which was packed with flavorful spices.After much deliberation, I settled on the Ortolana pizza, a vegetarian pizza topped with spinach, artichokes, black olives, roma tomatoes, feta, mozzarella and parmesan -- all atop a base of rich marinara sauce. All of the veggies were fresh and colorful. The crust was sturdy on the edges but started to cave in the center under the weight of all the toppings, but the slices were still easy to pick up with a little creativity. The crust was perfectly seasoned and just the right thickness. I easily could have finished the entire 12-inch pie, but I restrained myself and took a quarter of it home for later.Our waitress was amazing -- attentive, friendly and patient as I asked 20 questions about the menu and her recommendations. I also really liked the upscale yet laid-back atmosphere inside. I will definitely be back -- hopefully sooner than 10 years -- to explore more of the menu.

I went here for a friend's birthday. The restaurant was beautiful on the inside with several different seating areas.My waitress was amazing and very honest with menu suggestions and reviews. I wasn't impressed with the food at all. It definitely gave me chain restaurant. My calamari tasted like it was frozen and fried. It had no flavor. My dish tasted more like a brunch dish and it was barely warm. I just was not satisfied at all. It didn't give me authentic at all. I was disappointed.

Food was delicious and the portions are HUGE! be ready for some leftovers. The prices are reasonable for the portion you get. Got the calamari app which was hot and fresh. Chicken parm was delish and the brisket gnocchi was good, but VERY rich (and the half order was plenty large). The only downside was the service. We were seated promptly with a reservation, but our waitress must have been very busy. We had to ask for bread for the oil 3 times, she only brought 2 waters for the table of 4, and she only checked in once during the whole meal, when all of us had been out of drinks for a long time. The meal took us almost 2 hours and that was mostly waiting for the service.I would definitely come back, just would hope for a different server

Server started out nice and friendly. Salads came out timely but when the entree's came out mine was not as ordered. She apologized and took it back, said it would be back shortly. After 20 minutes and we had not seen her, we stopped someone else who said they would check on my food. It actually took 30 minutes for the refire of salmon, our table was completely done with their food. The salmon was good but the spinach was cold which I did not even tell her because I just wanted to eat and go home at this point. I was surprised that no one from management came over to apologize or make an adjustment on our bill. Will be a while before we return if ever. Too expensive for this kind of treatment and service.

Absolutely delicious! Very surprised I thought I was getting basic out eat experience for the pricing. Cost, service, ambiance, and taste great.Ate so much and there wasn't a long wait considering I didn't have a reservation! I didn't even take a photo I got too excited.
