China Wok Express

I've heard from several people just how good the food is at China Wok Express. This is my first visit and I'd say it's fairly standard, passable Americanized Chinese fare. The hot and sour soup is a notch about "just good," but the other dishes we got (roast pork with garlic sauce and vegetable lo mein) are unremarkable. I asked for the roast pork to be made extra spicy, and they said it was, but I'm not tasting much spice at all. If this is "extra," then the normal spice level must be pretty minimal. I'm going to go back to try other dishes. I'm very willing to improve my score of China Wok Express, and I hope they meet me halfway. I'm open to having my socks knocked off, CWE. Please don't disappoint me!

So we ordered 2 dish so noodles with chicken. Jen she added an extra dish that we did not want. So it was up sell in asked for. The food was good and tasty. Just upset they added a food we did not want.

My food is always great. I love them! But some reason Thursdays the food doesn't taste the same, I think because they have a different cook that day but it is good eats!

The food is disgusting & the ppl are RUDE . I called for lunch and got hung up on bc i called from my job and they block their number going to unknown number to the company and i was told I couldn't order bc my number wasn't showing up . Then I gave him my number and he told me to go ahead with my order and from that point I no longer wanted to order bc I'm paying over the phone for one and for two your trying to deny me for ordering bc of a phone number . I've only ordered from here a few times and every time it's overly oily . But they're close to my job so I try to order convenient and quick . I will NEVER order from here again !!

Sometimes go here for lunch and for what they charge, you can't beat it. For $4.99(recently changed to $5.25) they give you three entrees and a side of rice or noodles. You're getting more food than the price of a Big Mac meal. Yes, the lady at the front may be short and to the point, yet it's just her at the front counter bouncing from serving people to cashing them out to answering the phone. Sometimes I do see someone come help her during peak times. Some of the reviews state they are rude - I don't go to a restaurant to make small talk with strangers, let alone with someone where there also may be a language barrier. I've never had any issues with them. Have I had better Chinese food, yes.But I've also had worse Chinese food and paid more money in the process.

I ordered through Doordash. So, first off, the food looked smelled and tasted pretty good and these gripes may just be small personal tastes but here they are. I ordered General Tso's chicken and specifically asked for "Extra, Extra Spicy" in the comments and "Hot" on the official prompt through Door dash; there was not a single chili or pepper in the whole order. It was not spicy AT ALL. The chicken also wasn't crunchy in the slightest; which I don't blame on my driver because they arrived at my house in less than 10 minutes. The rice was bland, and by that I mean it just tasted like soy and salt. The Crab Rangoon was good but didn't seem like it was fully fried as the bottoms were still moist from the cream cheese. It wasn't the worst thing i've ever had, but for one of these stand alone "Chinese" food restaurants; I have had WAY better.

UPDATE: I got food poisoning.. we ate here for dinner.. we were talking about how their food hasn't been as good lately (tastes eggy) and I was violently sick a couple hours later and continuing on for the rest of the night.. won't be returning.. very disappointed. ORIGINAL 5 STAR REVIEW: This is my go-to Chinese restaurant whenever I'm in Clarksville!! The general tsos chicken is delicious and the crab Rangoon are some of the best I've ever had. The staff is always friendly and the place seems pretty clean (including the bathrooms min which is always a plus!!

They have the best food in town but doordash and the other services they use or the worst in town don't use them. Don't buy food from them cuz doordash will charge you triple the price of the food I pay for food from them and when I got the bill it was four times the amount of what it was. Don't buy from them unless you pick up. You pick up the food. They have the best food in town,

Unhappy... ordered General Tao's CHICKEN. There was no chicken in it. T was all just fried dough and sauce.

Love their orange chicken and general Tao. Lunch time prices are amazing!! Great customer service!
