I'm updating my review because they changed the sauce on the egg foo young! I am not in favor of the new sauce and can't recommend this dish any longer to my great dismay. No other parts of my original review do I wish to alter besides this one dish.

I've been going here for over 20 years. I grew up on this place I thought they were closed down until I drove by and saw they were open and of course I had to stop to my surprise not only have more menu options been added, but the food taste amazingly better than I remember. The service is still just as great as I remember, and straight to the point, which I like the decor and ambience is the same as I remember but that's what keeps this place classic. Hands-down this is my forever go to Chinese restaurant. My new favorite item is the Shrimp Mei Fun( must try) my former #1 favorite item, which is now my second favorite item would be the shrimp egg, foo, young

This was my go to spot for 25 years. It WAS the best hot and sour soup in Memphis. The house fried rice was wok hei full of flavor and the different meats. The new owners messed with all of the recipes, and raised prices. I have given them multiple, multiple, chances. Feels like part of the family died. I can't go there anymore.

Came here today because I stopped next door this is what they gave me burned and over cooked if I could give you clowns zero stars that's what u deserve and the only reason I didn't take it back is because I live 30 minutes away. Never again losers.

This place lost me as a customer. Years I have bought from them. So why leave them now? I got to pick up my 3 items and some egg rolls. The two boys that work there are too young and don't know customer service. I asked for one more chili oil sauce. The young man was going to give me two, I had three items so I thought it was only right that I get one more. With a straight face the boy looks at me and says "One dollar!". Awkward silence follows. He is dead serious. Trying to see if I would budge. After many seconds, I finally said, " are you really going to loose a customer over this?" The kids stays silent. Frustrated I get my things and walk away. Halfway out the restaurant the boys says ," sir... it's just joke". I don't know why these kids are there. I get they might get the business but they need to learn about customer service. 1$ for a teaspoon of chili oil sauce is crazy. The older lady would of just have it to me. Sad to say they lost me over 1$ (25 cents is the usual price, and I wouldn't pay that either) Very sad day when greed for 1$ cost you 100$. I won't be back any time soon.

Great service. And great food. Walked in for a take-out and walked out within 10 minutes with 2 separate meals. Both hot, fresh and delicious.

New ownership. Not the same menu. It has changed totally. Much higher prices and the food is no where near the previous owners quality. The restaurant is messy and smells funny. I don't like the change. They were sweet people and had great food and were clean! I have been eating there for 16 years. So sad....

Much improved since my last review. These people are always polite and have brought their game ....with the hot and sour soup always perfect.

Y'all. I have lived in Memphis for over a year & I could NOT find a good go-to Chinese restaurant. Well I ordered takeout from China House for lunch & I have died & gone to Heaven. IT IS SO GOOD. Awesome prices, sweet staff, amazing food. I WILL be returning. Now I'm going to enjoy my leftovers

Food is mushy. An abundance of choices but not good quality' food. Really A waste of your hardddd earn money. Guck.
