Cherokee Valley Golf Club

We went to Cherokee valley today to play 9 holes. We payed $40 a person for 9 holes!!! After we teed off the marshall showed up told us we couldn't have a personal cooler, but we could rent one from them. We chose not to do that and we thought that it was outrageous that we couldnt have a cooler that ONLY HAS WATER with it being 90 degrees outside and having payed $120 to play 9 holes of golf. Also we have played there multiple times with a cooler and they never said anything until now. Not going back.

One of my favorite golf courses in the mid-south but it's been getting even better the last year or so! The clubhouse is beautiful as well as a well stocked pro shop with great hats, shoes, clothing, balls, ball markers and club head covers! Several times there's been a shift in the weather and I was able to pick up just what I needed. There are always clean carts waiting and pace of play is always under 4 hours! The snack bar has quick food...best hot dog anywhere! I've saved the best for last...the new groundskeeper is awesome! The greens are getting faster and oh so tricky! The fairways and tee boxes are first rate!

A decent practice facility and above average course. Best in an area filled with below average public facilities.

Played here a few weeks ago for the first time. I was very impressed by the course. I thought the greens were in fantastic shape given that I was playing in December. Fairways and bunkers were in good shape. I immediately let me golf buddies know what a gem this course is. I will definitely be back.

Played this course recently, and it is in great shape. The grass is cut well, but when I played it rained the day before so there were puddles and the ground was pretty wet. I wish they had a better drainage system, the I would have given it a 5 star. Great putting green, chipping green, and practice range. I will definitely come back in the summer when it is top notch.
