Cheatham’s Pit Bbq

$12 for burger on white bun with small fries and the weakest tea on Earth. Why would a business serve you an un toasted bun? Not seared, not heated..... just straight out of the bag. You have an entire flat grill sitting RIGHT there, ALREADY HOT, and you can't slide the bun across it. Tiny portions for the money.

Very decent bbq...especially for a 1 horse town. The food was a 4 star but the greetings from the employees was a 5! We halved the 1.5 pound with their pork and chicken. I would order this again: the chicken was tender and not dry and the pork was well smoke flavored. The potato salad was definitely a keeper!!! Their mild and hot bbq sauces were really tasty. Nothing about this meal was bad.

Food is not incredibly good.Not incredibly bad, either Service was average Dining room was average.The people were quite friendly.This is an odd review. Nothing really stood out. And nothing makes me want to write a bad review.Our dining experience was sorta ho-hum. But it wasn't ho-hum.It felt like a familiar place where you would go because you know know what to expect and it's always comfortable.I'm right on the precipice of throwing that 5th star on this review. Yet, I just can't.But rest assured, this is a solid 4 star dining review.If you eat here, you might not remember it, but you will never regret it!

GROUND RULE DOUBLE TO ADVANCE RUNNER TO THIRD!Diamond in the rough. I stopped in here to grab lunch while traveling through NW Tennessee and it was money. Waitress from The Grind in Martin suggested it, and said it was her family's place near Reelfoot Lake. I'm a sucker for a recommended bbq joint. I had the pulled smoked chicken baked potato and it was killer good. The chicken was juicy with a hint of smoked and some great seasoning. On top of the large potato set it off. Very good. The atmosphere and service were great as well. I will be back.

A little hole in the wall BBQ spot with great food and down home atmosphere. Nothing fancy, just great BBQ. Highly recommend the fried green tomatoes. Reasonably priced and super friendly folks.

Best BBQ around! The potatoes are HUGE!!! Both the hot and mild sauces have an excellent flavor. And try the chess squares! You'll be glad you did!

I absolutely love this Bbq!! I eat here all the time and have never been disappointed!

Who would have ever thought pork nachos would be so darn good. My daughter in law had the chicken nachos and loved them equally. My husband had the pork dinner and enjoyed each bite. My sons also loved their meal.The service was nice and friendly. The ambiance was welcoming.Thank you for an enjoyable meal we hope to see you all again.

Really good food! Love the pit fries!! Will definitely go back! I can't wait for my family to come out to visit this place!!

Love this place. They have huge baked potatoes loaded with chic bacon cheese sour cream. Soooo good. The make their ranch dressing homemade and it taste great. I order at least once or twice a month and so far I have not been disappointed
