Choo Choo, we are here for lunch #HailStateI am originally from Starkville so it's nice to try local spots. We see this place every trip up but never have time to stop, glad we did!Super tastefully decorated restaurant in the old train depot in downtown StarkVegas. Very nice bar at the door opening is where we sat. We were waiting on family to get in town and stopped for an appetizer and drinks. Server was a little busy when we initially sat down (holiday shorthandedness) but did immediately greet and welcome us. Super nice staff!Cheese sticks were some of the best I have had. You can pick to have Mozzarella, Pepper Jack or mix half and half. We chose half and half to see what the Pepper Jack was about. Sooooo creamy, smooth and flavorful. Also served with a side of house made ranch and marinara. For the bevs, because holiday time calls for those too, we chose the Old Fashioned (a little to sweet), Cucumber Lime (lots of citrus flavor ) and the Bramble. All in all, great spot and will have to come back for an actual meal review!

Had the best dinner at The Grill with friends! Scout was an amazing waitress. I definitely recommend her. The vibes of The Grill are always great too. The chicken piccata is a 10/10!

Service was okay. Our server was maybe having an off day but they got a couple of things wrong like no cheese on the salads and our dessert order. The asparagus we got as a side to the steak was incredibly small and sad looking. Additionally, our steak knives were leaking so much water it got all over us and our plates --I'm assuming they just came out of the washer. Food was average but the deserts were so good!

Clean environment, not too loud background noise, and the service was friendly and attentive. The food tasted delicious, and overall the price wasn't excessive for the portions.I personally recommend the Sweet Chipotle Glazed Salmon. It was just the right amount of extra flavor without overpowering the salmon itself.

We went on a Friday night. The spring rolls and wings for appetizers were good. I got the steak skewers & sweet potato tots. She asked me how I wanted them cooked and they came out well done, like jerky. They brought me new ones that were still cooked through, and tasted weird, like smoked meat. The sweet potato tots just tasted undercooked and mushy but I know it's hard with sweet potatoes. Someone got the ribeye and it was the thinnest slice of meat I've ever seen. Absolutely do not recommend. Someone got the salmon entrée and someone else got a chicken entrée and they both said they were good/OK. The most annoying part however was that we never had our salads delivered. They brought our entrées and we had to tell them we never even received our salads. Long wait for our meal. I would recommend this place for drinks and appetizers, and would avoid any steak entrées.
