A great park in the town of Southaven, Mississippi, which is a suburb of Memphis, Tennessee. The park is well sized and features two lakes. It also offers plenty of room to walk around and get some exercise.Honestly, this part cannot compare to you much more fiends Central Park in New York City, but very few parks can. However, this park serves the community of Southaven very well and I am sure it is a treasured memory for anyone who grew up around here.

Bigger than you think On a drive thru Mississippi we needed a place to stop and let the kids run around. We found this park on Yelp. It had a large pond that you can fish in, several playgrounds, frisbee golf, etc. I recommend driving around and finding a spot you like to park.

One of the best places in Southaven to go and clear your mind and the ducks are a nice touch also!

This is one of the places I grew up. We lived in a house near the park and would walk ourselves over there on spring days, taking in the beautiful sky and the trees on our way. The park itself is huge. There are two lakes, a walking trail, a play area for kids, exercise equipment, and plenty of land surrounding the area. I've always said I want to bring a blanket and have a picnic on the grass on the far side of the park. It's truly a beautiful place.

I love this park. I've swung by a few times to catch the sunset over the water. I've seen people walking and exercising. Can't wait to join them one day :) I think this park is definitely worth stopping by. It's different and beautiful. Please please don't speed through the park. I've seen many cars using the path through the park as a shortcut and that's ok... what's not ok is to be speeding when it clearly states 10 mph

I love CP! I go there almost everyday with my 3 furbabies. What they offer:2 relatively large lakes for fishing or allowing your K9s to swimDisc Golf CourseFull Playground for children Picnic TablesBaseball FieldWalking Track with Stationary Exercise EquipmentSouthern Lights at Christmas :)The only reason this is not a 5 Star for me is the speed demons thru the park. The limit is 15, as it should be this or less with all of the pedestrians and children that frequent this park, but people driving to work and school--using this road as a short-cut from Tchulahoma Rd to Swinnea Road--is ridiculous!! They zoom down this street like it is Goodman or Church Rd!!SLOW DOWN! **They do have police officers that monitor traffic from time to time**

Very disappointed- we drove 40 minutes today with our dog, only to find out the park is closed until January 2017 for "Christmas Lights". I really don't understand why a park would close several months before Christmas. It's also not mentioned on their website. Very disappointing.

The park used to be a place I enjoyed to visit but now after the renovations I see no more things to do. They have TONS of space that they could work with but it's extremely empty. They could build a kids clubhouse, add a swimming pool, make the playground fun for all ages, build a basketball court, etc.
