Central BBQ Southaven

We've done take out 3x, and dined in once. At a BBQ place, obviously the most important things are the meats, and here they're consistently excellent. Sides are pretty good, too.

Went for lunch today and the food and service were great!! I think it's the best choice for BBQ in Desoto county. And I love sitting on the patio and that it is located in Silo Square.

I am never disappointed when I come here. I got the smoked sausage and Brisket sandwich. It was so tender the brisket and the sauce was really good I like that it had a bit on it but they had it on the side too. We did carry out but it was delivered pretty quickly and the packaging was sturdy.

Fires time here and it reminds me of a Bbq place we have here in St Louis. The place is immaculately clean and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. They have a nice variety of food and side options so you can surely fine something you like. Had the Pulled Pork plate with 2 sides and it was great . The lord was smoked perfectly and ok so tender and the mild sauce was the best. Potato salad was good and the bbq beans were fantastic. If you like bbq give them a try and have a great tasty lunch.

I had tried a Central BBQ once before and was not impressed. I held my judgment in case it was just an off day for them. This was the Memphis location. The food was dry and tasteless then. I was excited we were getting one in Southaven. My excitement was short lived. I ordered the half rack of ribs with two sides. My sides were turnip greens and baked beans. It was a "To Go Order" They got off to a bad start after waiting almost 45 minutes to get our food. This place is very slow! Its new so I gave them that. I wasnt real happy about the price of $32 for my half rack with two sides. It got worse after we got home. I pulled my ribs from a little foil lined bag. The ribs were black! I mean these things were completely burnt and so dry I couldnt even eat them. For that kind of money I would never do that to a customer! The sides were in these little baby cups like what you might get for extra sauce. I could not believe how small the sides portion was. The beans were the best part of my meal and thats not saying much! Especially since there were about three good bites in the thimble sized container. The greens lacked any kind of seasoning and were very bland. To sum things up. This was by far the worst meal I have had in a very long time. I think this is my first one star review. They should be ashamed serving me completely burned ribs! Take a look at my photos. Im not even exaggerating a little!I would not eat here again for any reason!

I don't have a lot to say but the BBQ is the best! The quality, quantity, seasoning, ingredients and price is top tier!! Everything is tender, moist, and full of flavor! You can taste the smoked in every bite!! The atmosphere is family friendly, casual date night and hanging with friends. The service is always fast, friendly and welcoming. The shell on the salad is delicious!! The dry rub on the smoked turkey is pure delicious! Now hear me clearly you can not get these jerk wings no where else in this city! No restaurant can match the flavor these bad boys dish out! The location is always clean and Desoto County is extremely pleased to welcome the #1 best BBQ to the area!!

Restaurant was neat and clean. Food was tasty and temperature of food was perfect. Great portion sizes and staff very polite and courteous. Ribs were cooked to perfection and so tender. Sweet heat wings were awesome with the wonderful baked beans and coleslaw.

Great que, off the hook beef brisket,baked beans and ice cold draft beer. The people are very helpful and courteous. If you come visit, it won't disappoint.

Visiting from texas, so we do know barbecue. This was excellent barbecue! Lots of great choices and great value for the price paid. Had everything for the kids all the way to the adults Spicy and not spicy. Staff was very helpful and courteous

Called and placed an order for one plate of ribs, they told me to wait 29 minutes so I did. I go to the window and they tell me it'll be another 29 minutes because they forgot to put my order in. Poor customer service didn't even apologize
