Catfish Campus Restaurant

Their Fish is fried perfectly, but if you like seasoning it's mediocre. I also had Frues and Cole Slaw and it was normal every thing appears to be freshly cooked when ordered.

Average country fare. I was Jones'ing for some catfish, lots of places are sneaking in Swai hoping you won't notice but this place has always been pretty reliable so.... Nothing earthshaking here, the hush puppies were the best thing I had and the green tomatoes were a welcome addition to the white beans. Catfish... unseasoned, and that is a major disappointment. The slaw is probably the worst I've ever had, very watery with zero crunch. I will give them credit for keeping prices down and for the variety, they even have a fried oyster plate that I may come back for but they wouldn't allow an appetizer portion. I got a glimpse of the blackberry cobbler, kicking myself for not bringing some home. I'll be back but not for the catfish.

My wife and I both love the fish at Catfish Campus. The sides are great, too. The servers are always very attentive and friendly. And when you go there, you can talk quietly in the calm atmosphere. We love this place.

Awesome place to eat. The new place has a lot more room and more comfortable seating. They still have the green tomatoes to start you off with. All the food is excellent and the pricing is lower than I expected for quality catfish! Our waiter was very courteous and knowledgeable about everything. We didn't have to wait long for our orders. I would give this place a 6 if there was another star!

Very good either whole or fillets of catfish along with excellent hush puppies, white beans, coleslaw and fries, Pickled Green tomatoes are wonderful. Many other American dishes for the non fish eaters.You'll love the down home atmosphere and warm, friendly and appreciative service.

The reviews below are obviously old. 3 friends and I, traveling from out of town, were looking for catfish. We thought the name sounded interesting so we decided to check it out. Our traditional Friday lunch is fried catfish back in Arkansas. The fish at Catfish Campus was great. Large pieces. Very tasty. Service was prompt and attentive after seating ourselves. All of us had all we could eat before we finished our plates. Only thing missing was live entertainment and a bar.

If you like fried everything in a restaurant that looks to have been a Chinese restaurant with rundown decor and sticky tables then this is your place. I will say the food wasn't bad but it wasn't outstanding either . The wait staff was nice enough and everyone there seemed to know each other. I was just disappointed in the lack of anything not fried.

Love this place!! Great food and awesome staff! This is my go to restaurant here in town! You're missing out if you haven't been here!
