So, hopefully this is the right location for the new Casa Perez Market in Bartlett on Summer and Whitten. The service was really good here and the staff were very helpful. Now let's get to the food... I had the choripollo with rice and beans with a side of salsa verde and of course, tortillas. I really enjoyed it quite a bit, and there are plenty of other choices that they have on a daily basis. The food tasted fresh and everything seemed freshly prepared. I will definitely be making another trip to eat here soon.

Such a great spot. Had been searching for guava paste at local grocers with no luck. Decided to search out a place that offered a wider variety of Mexican products. Lovely place, friendly staff. They helped me find the paste for my wife. Of course I had to get something for myself. Hello carne asada lunch. Will definitely be back.

Yess! Casa Perez is my Sunday family go-to for my Carnitas fix. Gotta get there early because they will sell out! I've been to Mexico several times and this place does them right! They also have other traditional foods like barbacoa and tamales but there carnitas are my fav! Casa Perez is basically a Mexican grocery store but they have food on the weekends and they also have fresh cuts of meat in the back. Skirt steak is awesome! Not exactly in the best part of town but it's a jewel I promise! Not a lot of English is spoken here so be patient. However the staff is very friendly! Casa Perez yall!!

Somehow I've missed this place for years. Was having my phone fixed next door and walked down while waiting. The place is smaller but well stocked and super clean. Smells great inside as they have a small kitchen in the back and make lunches. The ladies working spoke no English so we all had a good time as I tried to order with my super limited Spanish. They were very friendly and let me try several different meats before I decided to try some chicken and beef dishes. The food was very good and I will absolutely be back to try other items. I tried a beef in chili sauce that lit my ass up big time. They had a good laugh as my eyes watered and the sweat rolled down my forehead. I couldn't hide it at all! It was good but super freaking hot! I went in today and picked up some seasoned beef ribs to throw on the grill. They were very good. The chorizo they make in house was delicious also. It was not greasy at all and went great with some scrambled eggs for brunch. Going to try and make tamales tonight which I'm sure will be a disaster. Everyone working in his place is super friendly and very helpful and I will be going back often now that I've found it!
