I can't say enough about the food.....always great!!The service is usually friendly and timely!The atmosphere is very comfortable and inviting! I must say though, after the most recent menu change, I am very upset that they have decided to stop service their chicken parmigiana dish. IT WAS SECOND TO NONE and it isn't available anywhere else in our little town

My family and I moved away from Grenada 5 years ago and there are few restaurants we miss, Carmella's being one of them. This weekend we came to visit family and I just had to stop in for a dessert to go. Their Tiramisu is the best I've ever had! It's so fluffy on the top layer and there is enough coffee liquid on the bottom layer, but it stays together very well. The flavors combined are perfect! I hate we didn't have time to stop and have lunch because their stuffed pizza is pretty good as well. I haven't found another place that will cover the pizza with a crust layer like Carmella's does. All their ingredients taste fresh aw well. The place inside is very cute. I've attended a couple baby showers there and it's really a perfect spot for this. Over the years we've gone, the service is hit or miss. Mostly it's been good, but occasionally there had been a server who seemed to be having a bad day. If you haven't been to Carmella's yet, definitely a must try!

Tucked in the middle of a mixed used business building, this place is a gem. I ordered the lasagna ( I know cliched), and it did not disappoint. The garlic knots were a great touch! The sauce was so deep and rich! The waitress was attentive, but not overbearing. If you get a chance, make this place a priority.

We tried this place after a long day of hunting. The food was good. The ambience needs a little work. The service was pretty good. We started with the fried cheese which was very tasty and different than most restaurants. I had the smothered chicken which was very good and rich. The garlic knots were heavy on the garlic. My husband and son had the meat trio pizza. My husband liked the pizza crust. My other son seemed to like his chicken tenders as well. The only negative I would say is the bathroom was weird because toilet stalls were up on a platform that you had two steps to get to and the hallway was very narrow to get to the bathroom, so this place is not handicapped accessible unless there was another bathroom somewhere else. We would definitely try this place again when we are back in town.

The ambiance was wonderful and very relaxing. The service was also very good. The pizza was just ok and quite expensive for the amount of food. The bathrooms were clean.

First time here in 6 years or so. Early afternoon on a Monday. No other customers there except a few picking up to-go orders. Ordered a sandwich and a pizza. Took a lot longer than expected given we were the only dine-in customer.Sandwich was a muffaletta. Hot and fresh. It was really good.Pizza was piping hot but they were really stingy on the toppings leaving some 4 inches on the outside with just scant pieces of pepperoni (see pic). This was a let down and not a good look. Just charge me more and don't go on the cheap.The rest of the pizza was good otherwise.

Carmella's always delivers delicious food and top notch service. My favorites are the Hawaiian salad with maple vinaigrette and the thin crust gladiator pizza. Actually, my husband and I have only ever these two items we ever ordered- they're THAT good!

This place definitely tries to replicate an Italian feel, but it has an attached sitting area that offers a cool vibe. The service is pretty slow however. I went twice and the first time I got the shrimp corleone which was ok but the shrimp, penne, and complimentary ingredients weren't particularly tasty. However, the dish grew on me the more I ate it- 2/5.Upon my 2nd visit, I ordered the smothered chicken which was much better as the sauce was very tasty and the chicken was tender- 3/5. The garlic knots were pretty hard to chew, so they weren't the softest but I feel as if they could've been cooked better- 2/5.

Poor service; looked like they had 4 servers and a young lady answering the phone for to go orders. This lady was not very happy working and not friendly to non locals. 1st, we were not sure where to seat, so asked and she rudely said "really anywhere you can find a table". That really should have been a clue but we were hungry and the reviews looked positive. Once seated saw there were more tables in a hallway that connected by different businesses for the complex. The place got really busy once we sat down which was 6pm. Server was ok, but noticed all the front staff would go to the kitchen. You could hear them talking and cutting up instead of attending to the customers. Got pizza and sandwich an hour later. Our server came up once to say food was coming out soon. No refill on our water either. The kitchen was really behind and the take out orders backed up along with the in house orders. I felt really sorry for the 2 local guys waiting 30 minutes for their to go orders. Pizza was to have pesto on it but no pesto. Pizza came out before my Mom's sandwich, which took another 15 minutes. Food was just OK. Same girl who answers the phones also checks out customers. We had no ticket yet because our server was getting chewed out by a the Dad of a large family who came in about 10 minutes after us and they have no food yet or refilled drinks. We explained to the girl that our server is getting chewed out would she be able to help us checkout. She was not happy about that with major eye rolling and very cold to us.

What a hidden gem! This small restaurant has tables that wind through the aisles of a small strip mall. The friendly waitress described the stuffed eggplant mentioning it is one of her favorites. Wow! We know why. Two slices of eggplant breaded and fried crispy then stuffed with spinach, onions and mushrooms served over a bed of spaghetti topped with sauce and served with crisp garlic bread.
