The food was ok but the service was crap and the prices are outrageous!! $1.25 for sour cream really!!!! That is ridiculous!! I could have brought my own from home if I knew they was gona charge that!! The restaurant was tiny and the bar was a joke I mean my bedroom was bigger!!

Ride out to Paris from Nashville today and chose Carmelita's for lunch around 2:30pm. At first, it appeared closed as there was no one else there. (But it was 2:30 and there's kinda nothing around) Upon tasting the very bland salsa, I didn't have high hopes. (We added salt and pepper and it made it much better) We ordered a couple burritos, chalupa and tostada. Surprisingly, it was all very tasty. Good quality and quantity for the price. The server even made fresh guacamole with no jalapeños. The hamburger meat was a little bland too. Overall, we enjoyed our meal.

We love this restaurant! So yummy and great service and they have great drinks. Coming from CA it's been hard to find a decent spot. Definitely my favorite Mexican food spot in the Henry county area!

The food here is awesome. We had the family special, oh my, it was good. Service was average. It was a Saturday night, and they were busy. Im not sure why they only had one waiter, and the runners seemed to be lost or new. I recommend this place if you're hungry for good Mexican food.

My family started at the state park. We made a call for pickup, they said they 10 minutes it would be ready and it was.

I'm a Texas transplant to Tennessee, and this is as good as any I've had in Tennessee. A sweet little place with sweet folks. It's worth a stop if you're driving through.

This is a good one, great people, delicious authentic Mexican food and happy to see you genuine service. If you like delicious, homemade Mexican food, give this a try. The margaritas are excellent as well.
