Have been there for the Symphony, other concerts, and the Nutcracker. Have sat in the balcony and the main floor. Doesn't seem to be a bad seat anywhere for acoustics (obviously the balcony and rear seats on the main floor make visuals tougher). Seats are relatively comfortable for a tall (6'2") individual. Not familiar with local parking (I wouldn't recommend at night), but the underground parking lot is pretty convenient

I am sitting in the city that gave birth to the blues. Watching arguably the greatest active guitar player of the Blues genre. This place is only 1/4 full. It is a crying shame. Not many times in my life have I ever said that I am ashamed of Memphis. Tonight I am. If you are the promoter of this venue, please consider finding something else to do with your life. You suck at promoting.

We saw the Carmina Burana and it was amazing!! I really hope Memphis Symphony Orchestra performs this again soon. The seats were very tight and the rows were long. I highly recommend seats close to the isles.

This is a venue I ALWAYS ENJOY going to. I often tell people that there is no such thing as a bad seat at the Cannon Center. the view is good no matter where you sit. The sound is clear and projects well throughout the auditorium. I am never overwhelmed with parking even with this venue being located downtown. As a matter of fact, I love the fact they are downtown because I can always enjoy the view. I have visited for graduations, concerts, galas and more. Each time, the staff is friendly and the vibe is guaranteed to be fun!

Great venue and spacious and tonight's performance was one we have been waiting on for a while. The Nut Remix featuring Charles "Lil Buck" Riley...where two worlds, two different cultures comes together. Super excited. And the orchestra and the talented stage performers are excellent. Thanks Arts Access. My grand children and I can enjoy a little taste of diversity.

My boyfriend and I purchased last minute cheap seat tickets to see the Memphis Symphony. I really think our seats were as good as most in the venue. We congratulated ourselves on getting the the $85 experience for $15. We're smart cookies, if we do say so ourselves. I'm 5'2'' and found the seats to be very comfy. My guy is a foot taller and felt a bit cramped, but agreed it was less cramped than most theaters. The location is great. There's lots of street parking so you probably don't need to bother with the garage. We managed to park at a meter that was free at the time of day we were there. That was awesome since parking in Memphis is ridiculously expensive. I'll definitely buy cheap tickets again when visiting Memphis.

Acoustics are great in this concert hall. The way the seats are positioned, there really isn't a bad seat in the entire place. The seats are comfortable and not so close to the row in front that your legs are cramped. Bathrooms are well positioned and usually very clean.Parking can be a bit of a challenge. I'm not big on underground garages. There is quite a bit of surface parking within walking distance. My biggest issue is the bar. Selections are very limited and ridiculously expensive. I do appreciate that they usually let you bring drinks in, though I wish they didn't let people bring in beer bottles. At one event, there was a lot of clanking of empty bottles that were left for people to trip over.I've ultimately enjoyed every event I've attended there.

My wife and I have attended two symphony performances, and both were absolutely fantastic. Both performances featured extremely talented soloists. The most recent concert we attended included a somewhat odd narration that accompanied the music, but the overall performance achieved home-run status with a dynamite vocal performance by a ten- or twelve-year-old superstar. Highly recommend checking out the symphony.

This is a lovely performing arts center -- very modern and newer (built in 2003), right downtown on Main Street overlooking the river. It's immaculate, and is really adds some beauty to the downtown area. It can seat 2,100 people, and is a venue for many different varieties of performances, from orchestra to ballet to comedy. The center is amazing to see a ballet -- we plan on seeing the Nutcracker in November.

Staff isn't very helpful. We asked several ushers to help us find our seats and were not helped or told no. The person working the concession stand we went to didn't speak English. Who does that to the person working or the people attending? What a nightmare!
