"I love the concept! Truly the best way to do All You Can Eat style sushi out there, I wish it was more present in other areas of the country (especially in my hometown), but I really enjoyed having this experience while I was visiting Nashville. For the uninitiated, conveyor belt style eating is done by pulling small plates off a conveyor belt that is continuously moving throughout the dining room. Patrons usually sit around a circular or oval shaped bar, but sometimes you see the conveyor belt meandering all over the place. They can be covered or uncovered, I really appreciated that the conveyor belt at Sushi Train was covered! Much more sanitary. In non-AYCE situations, your plate color corresponds to a price, the staff simply total up your plates. At sushi train, it appears there is an option to go a la carte, but at 25 bucks, I don't understand why you wouldn't go for the all you can eat option unless you just want a snack. Also, the conveyor belt is massive, centrally located to the restaurant and diving in and out or rows of seats. It's a large place, great layout, and the staff works hard to keep it stocked. As much as I loved the format, I will say that most of the sushi I ate was just OK and there were a couple that I didn't like. I did like that not just rolled sushi was circulating, but also nigiri, appetizers, cold salads, and desserts. Your waitress would also take special requests from you for anything you saw on the menu but not on the belt, included in the price! All in all, even if the sushi itself was pretty average, this place gets a 5 from me for their superior style of service, and a format that allows me to try small portions of a great variety of foods, as opposed to committing to large rolls limiting what I can try. I would definitely come back and bring friends!"
"wow such a great menu! The food is always incredible. Its a favorite now and we've only lived in spring hill 8 months!"
"When I first considered moving to Nashville back in 2009, I stopped by Seoul Garden for lunch. I wasn't blown away but I did like it. You see, hole-in-the-wall Korean restaurants (for the most part) have dishes that taste the same no matter where you go (with slight variations of course). Being a Korean myself who has traveled a lot, I've been to probably dozen different ones over my lifetime and they are all the same. And that's one thing I appreciate because I don't always get to visit my parents. Consistency, when it comes to Korean food, is huge for me because I'm going there for comfort and reminiscing of my childhood/heritage.Whenever I'm on this side of town, I choose the Korean restaurant based on what I'm craving. This time around, me and my kids wanted galbi (Korean barbecued beef short ribs). I prefer it over bulgogi (which is similarly popular) because it's fattier and therefore juicier/more tender. My kids like it because they call it "halmoni's food" which is what my mother feeds them every time they visit. They associate visiting grandma with being fed delicious beef ribs and rice . And like me, they crave it. So with that said, if you want any of the grilled meat items, Seoul Garden (to me) is the better choice (by a slim margin) than the surrounding Korean restaurants (Tofu House, Hai Woon Dai, Midori, BBQ Korea).I ordered galbi, an extra bowl of rice (they charge $2 per bowl, which is absurd) and jjamppong, a Korean spicy seafood noodle soup. Banchan (which are Korean staple side dishes) are free. The galbi here is good. It could use more marinade time but the base flavors (soy sauce, garlic, sugar) of savory, smoky, & slightly sweet are present. The ribs were perfectly cooked, with a glossy fatty sheen and nice char. My kids gobbled it up faster than I could cut it, like little chicks. My son likes the pickled turnips and eggs as his sides. My daughter likes the bean sprouts and eggs as hers. For me, I ate all the assorted types of kimchi. The jjamppong is a special treat for me because it's one of the dishes my dad made for me growing up. It's a seafood broth based soup, flavored with Korean chili powder. Depending on who cooks it, the types and amounts of seafood you get varies. My dad added a ton of seafood but nobody has ever come close to his version. At Seoul Garden, you get oysters, mussels, squid, and shrimp combined with green onions, onions, and a variety of bell peppers. This is a hearty, robust soup that can be mild or very spicy (be sure to tell your server if you want it spicy). It's served in a very large bowl and is quite filling. Here are the bad parts of the review. First, the price for the any of the grilled meats are ridiculous. The galbi was $25 (plus $2 extra for a bowl of rice). That in essence made my meal cheaper than my kids' meal and they split the galbi! Let me give you a tip. If you want Korean food as good (if not better) than any of the Korean restaurants in Nashville, drive over to Clarksville/Fort Campbell west of Nashville. Because of the Army base, there is nice Korean population over there. It's like a mini-Koreatown. There are Korean BBQ places that are AYCE over there. Yes... ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT. Secondly, not sure what the deal is but the service here is SLOW. It took forever to order after being seated, even longer to get our drinks, we weren't checked upon at all until I flagged down another server for refills, and then it felt like eternity to actually get the check. It was so bad, I actually feel like my 3* rating is justified despite how much I enjoy their food. The servers have no sense of urgency either. Hopefully they'll get better, but like I said, it's been pretty bad for years now. Maybe it's the fact that they don't have enough servers on the floor."
"This place has some delicious food, and they were open on Labor Day just a five minute walk from where I was staying, but, alas, a couple servers had decided to call in so there was a long wait, which many people gave up on.The food is worth waiting for, particularly the grits (I got the Chicken Sausage Grits bowl) and their biscuits and egg concoction (Big Ole Biscuit Bake, I think) but be prepared to wait, potentially."
"We are road tripping and needed a place for lunch off of HWY 24. Loopy Larry's sounded intriguing, and I am so glad we stopped! They have a variety of soups, salads and sandwiches. I had a grilled cheese and tomato dill soup and the soup was honestly some of the best soup I've ever had. The Phat Thai Jones salad was also delicious. $43 to feed a family of five on the road and not fast food?? Amazing!"

So much fun! If you have sushi lovers in your family - this place is for you!Highly recommend going when they first open. The closer you sit to the kitchen, the more variety you'll have. Lunch doesn't include RED plates. So, if you want the full experience, you'll need to be there for dinner. We broke all the rules. Showed up for lunch at 12:30 and literally sat at the last table. But, we still had a ball! They are closed from 3-4:30pm.

This place is a nice Asian place. Feels comfortable and the service was wonderful. We got a few different dishes - pork pho was okay - the soup just needed more flavor. The Boba was also okay - the pearls were fantastic but tasted a bit more artificial. The Kung pao was phenomenal - would 100% get again. And the pork bao was also really good - especially with the sweet chili sauce provided. Will go again and try more dishes. It's a good pan-asian cuisine spot to get a fix which is what I needed.

Great food for early Sunday dinner with the family! Many Asian customers here which tells me this place is the real deal. My parents and brother tell me this is their favorite Korean bbq in Nashville. The waitresses are welcoming and drinks come out quickly. I like how they replenish the free small dishes of pickled vegetables. We got two beef dishes to cook ourselves (#4 beef bulgogi and #7) and the seafood pancake which is huge and pork bulgolgi that was entree. We ordered five bowls of rice which were additional but I feel like it balances out for all the free small dishes you receive. We ate in a small side room since there were seven in our party. It is a quiet atmosphere for a family gathering. Come support this local Asian eatery!

Decided to stop by for an early Sunday breakfast. Was told it was a 20 min wait but got sat in about 10. Our server was new but she was really sweet. The menu had some good options. We decided to get the biscuits and gravy , omelette and chicken fried steak. Everything was good but we could've had more gravy on the biscuits and gravy and the chicken fried steak. The biscuits were reallly good. Very tasty and overall a good experience.

This is a favorite local spot of our family. The Pad Thai, and Sum Bum Warbar are our "go to" dishes, but the eggrolls are awesome too. They are huge btw.

Food was ok. I am quite biased I come from the Houston area and we are a bit of Mexican food snobs.

"The food is very good! You can have the heat level of the spices in your dish adjusted to your preference. The portions are good sized so you're not leaving hungry. The service is very customer oriented. It's a nice clean casual restaurant and I'm definitely coming back!"
"Food was excellent and service was good too! Nice and comfortable seating. Be careful if you order the mocjete"
"Really love this place. Just right up the road from my house. Our go to is the general tso's chicken, egg rolls, pot stickers, and the chicken fried rice. The tso's chicken is always a great filler. Great taste and flavor (could use some more heat). The egg rolls are always my go to when ordering Chinese. It was good flavor, but could use more crunch. The pot stickers were okay. the meat needed more salt and the sauce wasn't doing it for me.The chicken fried rice was where it's at! Definitely my favorite dish here. Chicken had great taste and the egg was a little crispy. The dish almost had a Smokey flavor. Absolutely loved it."
"The food is good. Typically get the Asiago Cheese bagel toasted with cream cheese and coffee. Facility is pretty dated and needs upgrading. Plenty of sitting areas in need of repair. Also today went at 7AM and there were table areas that were obviously not cleaned from the night before. Other areas as the code bar and the beverage station seemed clean. Ambiance is good since it was quiet."
"Pillbox moved recently to their new location next to Fred's. The 91-yo found the small size Asian chicken salad to be just the right size. Poppy seed dressing is delicious!I had the entree size Southwest chicken salad and think I'll get the smaller size next time. I also got us a slice of coconut creme pie to share later. I'm sure it's tasty. Looks tasty. Even if you're dining in, place your order at the counter! They also have a drive thru pick up window."
"First time dining at Ember & Oak Prime & it didn't disappoint! The food was a 10/10 & the service was as well. Emma was so kind & made sure we had everything we needed. Mr. Les came by to say hello & check on us as well. Will definitely be back!"
"I've been craving a good ole fashioned Chinese Buffet for a very long time. I'm shocked that this place only has 2 stars...it's a Chinese buffet....lol... not sure what these other people expect. Salty, luke warm food is expected and was exactly what I was craving. My favorite thing at any buffet is chicken on a stick and the little sugary dessert bun things. No idea what those are, but did I eat 4? ....yes. Staff and servers were great! Everyone is so nice and welcoming. Could the place be a little more updated and a smidge cleaner? For sure. But I really enjoyed my time here. Oh and this place is very cheap....we paid $27 for 2 buffets & 2 sodas!"
"A few times a year Hamilton Square closes the city streets for a huge street fair. The local community and businesses all come together to support trade and commerce with food trucks, local goods and premier services. The town center is transformed into a shopping paradise. From 5 pm to after dark, music fills the air while vendors and consumers join in to support all types of organized events and marketing. While checking out the event, we chose a Steak and Taco establishment within the main square. This was a very strong recommendation from our favorite vendor "Sister-Friends Attic". Hamilton and the surrounding area are highly competitive with authentic Mexican and Tex-Mex cuisine. Elder's Tacos and Steaks is definitely in the running for the top tier of this category. The design is somewhat similar to a steakhouse style but, with a rough basic interior. In my opinion it could use some more decorative elements and less of the repetitive logo display. The dining room could use some improvements, as the seating area seems a bit chaotic and maze-like with some unorganized wasted space. Fresh produce and ingredients are a must for a star earning and they got it! Although just above average, everything looks and tastes flavorful and balanced. Presentation was inline with most Franchises and could use some more uniqueness. As far as taste, this was fairly predictable but good. The medium rare Ribeye was well overcooked, a little dry and a thin cut but lightly seasoned and tasty. The loaded potato was definitely not loaded but cute and petite. I enjoyed the refried beans and Lisa went for the street tacos. She really liked them better than previous ones, noting the more authentic flavors. She absolutely loved the street corn. My Aunt and Uncle enjoyed the Enchiladas and the kids loved the loaded fries. Overall, the food and service were very good. I will definitely count this a a successful experience. SYOYBilly P."
