"I have been a few times for pickup and Dine-in at the 911 Buchanan location and enjoyed it every time. I always get the Slim Nothin' but a V Thang with the Balsamic Molasses Drizzle. The Slim I can only eat half and save the rest for lunch the next day. I love the self order kiosks that are frequently sanitized. Staff are welcoming and helpful, love the wall art, music, and indoor and patio dining. Current specials: Mondays $10.00 college night and Tuesdays $12.00 Signature Specials. Also, offer salads, desserts, and beer.Support Local."
"Always a go-to when I visit Memphis. Recommend the crab claws and to hold on to the plate to dip your pizza crust into! The red eye was a bit salty for my taste, but their other pizza options have been phenomenal in my past visits, like the quattro formaggi. Parking is limited but they do have valet. Service has always been wonderful, especially the bartenders."

"I really enjoy their pizza. I love the vodka sauce. Highly recommend this as a pizza staple in Memphis"
"Made a reservation for 10 at 4:45PM on a Sunday via the phone because the party was too big to make a reservation online. Ordered focaccia, bruschetta, and tagliere misto which was essentially a charcuterie board (on the menu, it says serves 2, but it really serves probably closer to 3-4 as it was huge). The focaccia was essentially their pizza with no toppings, and the bruschetta was tasty. The charcuterie board had some roasted veggies, fresh mozz, and different cured meats, pretty tasty. For my pizza, I got the capricciosa which came with a bunch of different toppings and had good flavor (probably thanks to all the meats on it). The most important aspect is the crust, which was super chewy and tasty. It did however get soggy over time, and that's what I subtracted one star for. Otherwise, it was really good, and my pizza standards are quite high, having been to Italy and lived in NYC. Had tiramisu and panna cotta for dessert, the latter was super smooth and creamy and the strawberry jam on top made for some flavor. The tiramisu was moist and tasty, and both desserts weren't too sweet which was great.Service was attentive and friendly, definitely noticed upselling but that's alright. Tip included in the bill, came out to be less than $400 for 8 which was pretty good, portions were huge and everyone had way too much food. Pizzas can possibly be shared between 2 (I think 2 pizzas for every 3 people is probably good), and the pastas are huge and definitely can be shared between 2. Good quality food, would recommend!"
"This is by far our favorite pizza place in the Memphis area. They do authentic Neapolitan pizza better than anyone around here. Highly recommended!"
"This is a pretty good to almost great pizza carryout spot. We were doing a monthly Costco run with the intent of grabbing a pepperoni pie from there to go only to discover their food court (as of January 2024) was out of commission (horrors!). So thanks to Yelp, I quickly discover we're 2 minutes away from NY Pie. I call them and order a large meat pizza and an order of garlic knots. Picked it up and it was ready right when they said it would be, got it home and feasted. There was enough left over for us to get another entire meal out of it and everything heated up perfectly in the oven. The slices are HUGE, NY style. Great crust, great toppings. Everything cooked well. The garlic knots are like giant rolls, and pretty good as well.Pricewise, we definitely spent more than we would have with the prices stuck 40 years ago menu from Costco, but the pizza is of much better quality. With tip, $40+ for all of the above. A loyalty program via your phone that seems cool. Friendly, funny service at the counter by folks who seem to like what they do. Not a top 5 Nashville pizza joint, but a better than solid one and I'll be back."
"Overall, I thought this place was pretty good! It feels like a pizzeria (not a fancy restaurant) and they have an easy location to get to off Lebanon Pike with their own parking lot.I got their Greek salad without cheese & it was better than average. But, I did really enjoy the meatball appetizer I got as my main; they had lots of flavor and the marinara sauce was just right! I would totally come back for this. We also shared the tiramisu, but it wasn't for me; very few ladyfingers and a lot of icing (/mascarpone) and not much coffee flavor. We'll have to try the pizza next time. They don't bring bread to your table, but the entrees come with a side of what looks like frozen Texas toast they put on the grill. A little weird, but okay. I think they have a lot of youngsters working their first jobs ever here for the summer hosting & bussing....but out server was not; she was a total rockstar."
"This is a chain restaurant that's located at the mall. The staff were friendly, and the place is a little dim inside. The decor is like an Italian restaurant. The pizza is so delicious. They have other options of food items, but I strongly recommend the pizza. I tried their brussels sprout salad, which was different friendly clean plenty of parking in the parking lot. I hope that you enjoy."
"I finally got to have Picnic Pizza again for the first time since they moved to SmyrnaIt is definitely worth the drive. The good news is the pizza is still as amazing as ever!!!It was well lit, clean and the employees were very friendly and attentive There have been some changes though that I wasn't expecting There is no longer pasta on the menuAnd the house salad has changedNow it only comes with tomato and the incredible shredded mozzarella cheese, I had to add all the toppings that previously came on itBut it is twice the size as it was before The mushrooms on the salad are canned mushrooms, they used to put fresh mushrooms on the salad, canned mushrooms on the pizza Now canned mushrooms are on bothAnd sadly the Italian salad dressing they used to make isnt available anymore I will still be back! I still love it!I'm happy it only changed a little And they are still around and still making amazing pizza"

Excellent pizza. I ordered the PREAM and it was so delicious. Thin, crispy crust loaded with toppings. The best tasting pizza I've had in a long time. Salad was also good. If you can, order ahead. They have kiosk style ordering and limited staff so it can back up because everything is made fresh, except the cinnamon rolls which I did not care for at all and would skip. I really think they should just take the cinnamon rolls off the menu as the pizza is SO good and the rolls were...... not. Tasted stale at 2pm.

My husband & I absolutely love coming to Hog & Hominy. He is a big fan of the Red Eye pizza & I have a sweet spot on my heart for the ever so flavorful wedge salad. Best wedge in Memphis, in my opinion. Even better than the dishes we ordered, our wonderful & funny server, Alex, made our brunch date splendid. She was knowledgeable of the brunch options, she suggested I get the espresso martini & I could not have been happier. She was incredibly attentive & never hovered. I will continue to come back in hopes I can be served by Alex once again.

The crust. The crust. THE CRUST!! The crust on this pizza is amazing. I honestly could have eaten a pizza sans toppings just so I could get the crust. Our server was very sweet and attentive. He was great. As for the ambiance, well, unless you like to be swarmed by mosquitos, DO NOT SIT OUTSIDE. They literally started swarming. I've never had so many mosquito bites as I have after sitting outside here. On my one ankle alone I had 100. (That isn't an exaggeration. I counted.) Definitely sit inside. We got hummus and 2 pizzas. The hummus was flavorless, so I'd skip that next time. The Button Man pizza was fine, but if you're naming a pizza after a button mushroom, I'd expect there to be more mushrooms on it. Overall, this one was just fine. The pizza with the goat cheese was much better. Basically, aside from the crust, it was just fine.

If you are in the mood for a delicious personal-sized pizza baked to perfection in a woodfired oven, then this is the place for you! My only real complaint, they are not open on Monday or Tuesday.

Another wonderful dinner at Ciao Baby! I was excited to see the restaurant super busy. The last few times we came, it was empty. No matter how many people were here, they were still bringing out food in a timely manner and keeping tables clean. This was our first time trying the Dough Bites, and they were amazing! My fiancé loves their pizza, so we visit frequently. There's no better casual Italian spot in the area than this one!

I've been to this location (west) 1 time before and felt myself starting to get hangry so I needed something quick. The first time, I didn't care for the food. The second time, I can say I had a much better experience. I ordered 2 slices of pep, and they came out fresh just a few minutes after I ordered. I can only speak this truth: I will return to get pizza here again, but only for the cheese and pep slice. I don't trust a lot of pizzerias with anything but the basic slice. But this slice was great. My suggestion: dress it up with seasoning, parm, and crushed red pep. Bonus: customer service is 10/10. I walked in wearing a buffalo bills hat and the guy behind the counter wearing a 49ers hat put on the Bills shout song (IYKYK). A great guy, good experience, good food.

"Good food great service and I love the ambiance it's a cozy quiet Italian restaurant that makes you feel like family"
"Pizza is hands down 5 s! Authentic and flavorful, classic and simple, this pizza stands up. We had the soppressata pie, and the pesto gnocchi dish. The gnocchi is gummy. I think it suffered from sitting on the counter while our pizza was being made. The sauce was very tasty, but I will think twice about ordering pasta there since this is primarily take out with a few tables outside. It was too chilly to eat there the night we visited. We also had the cannoli. Good, but the shell suffers from being prefilled. A thin layer of chocolate on the inside of the shell would fix that right up. I hear they are moving, so we gotta get it while it is close. But, I truly hope they will keep just a pizza place here and maybe serve the pastas from a sit down location."
"This is a fantastic pub and grill! I was most pleasantly surprised.I had a salad with grilled chicken and it was delicious and fresh. Also, quite large! The service was excellent and the atmosphere is great!"
"Unfortunately, the deliciousness of the food is not the same since they removed the words "Old" and "Pizza" from their name. The prices increased, but the food got worse. When I took that Salmon Caesar photo, I still loved it here. The salmon now has a burnt flavor and drab taste. The deviled eggs are watery, but taste good. I'm not sure if watery is the word, because I believe it's just that there is too much olive oil drizzled on top. I think I will just have to pass from now on."
"In my opinion, Aldo's has the best pizza in Memphis. I usually order takeout and they manage to consistently have my order ready in 15-20 minutes. The crust is always perfectly toasted and I haven't had a bad pizza. Some of their funkier options like Willie, Cheech & Bob also shine, but I typically stick with their lighter Margherita. My girlfriend can't have dairy and orders a cheese-free pizza, and it's honestly sometimes better than mine, which is something I rarely say about pizza. It's a testament to their fresh base sauce. When I've dined in, I enjoy the urban Memphis aesthetics and they have a nice outdoor roof area when the weather is nice. Tuesday nights at 7 pm have trivia which I'd also recommend."
"We are frequent fliers to Grecian for breakfast, brunch and their amazing bakery! Food is always hot and perfectly seasoned. Make sure you try the stuffed grape leaves but order them HOT!"
"Came here on the recommendation of someone, the food and beer are really nice, but the place was fairly dirty. Literally, there were fries, cup lids, napkins and cheese on the floor. If it had been busy, ok, but it wasn't crowded and easy to sweep up.Food-wise, great. Beer, you bet. If the front of the house is this dirty though, what does the back of the house look like? Gives me sanitation concerns, and the flies we saw around hang out to chow down. Waitress was very nice though."
"Two words. Taco. Pizza.Rock'n Dough is the epitome of a casual pizza joint, and is the ideal place to settle in and watch your favorite team with a cold pint of beer. I found this spot on Yelp while searching for a sports bar with plenty of TVs, and we had a great experience here!Rock'n Dough is attached to the neighboring Hampton Inn, just in case you're having trouble finding it as you're driving up. The restaurant wasn't too busy on a Saturday evening: it was easy to find parking, and we were seated right away. I even asked the hostess if she could change the channels for us to tune into a specific college football game, and she was happy to accomodate! Our server, Allie, was phenomenal throughout our meal. She had great recommendations - which is how we ended up starting off with the Pretzel Bites as an appetizer. Believe me when I say that these are a must-order - crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside, and melt-in-your-mouth delicious when paired with their warm queso dip.We decided to split two 16" pizzas between the four of us, which ended up being the perfect amount. We even had a few slices left over to take home with us. The USA! USA! pizza was incredible - a nice balance between all of the "supreme" toppings we know and love. The real star, however, was the Taco Pizza. I'm all about this new wave of food fusion, and Rock'n Dough is doing it better than any other restaurant I've been to in recent memory. The flavors just make sense - with the taco meat is cooked to resemble the more traditional sausage pizza topping, and the queso sauce mirroring a "white pie" style pizza. I highly recommend Rock'n Dough to Nashville locals and visitors alike. I certainly know where I'll be the next time there's a big game on!"
"It just occurred to me that, after all these years, I've never written a review for Amicos. We've been dining here for many years, and it never disappoints. Their Italian Stromboli is exceptional and has become our go-to favorite. While we've sampled various items from their diverse menu and found them all to be delicious, we always find ourselves returning to that Stromboli. The consistency in flavor and quality keeps us coming back time and time again. If you're looking for a place that delivers great food and an outstanding experience, Amicos is the place to be."
"It was a Saturday stop after a walk in the park on a beautiful sunny day. We sat outside since it was really busy. There were 7 of us. I ordered the G-man pizza and house salad. I enjoyed my meal, as did everyone else. Our waiter took orders without having to write it down and got everyone's order correct. We enjoyed our time there. I would recommend to others to drop in."
"Usually get the animal, tried something different. This was fantastic! Great pizza of the month, get in here and grab one in May 24!"
"great place! very clean and high quality food! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx"
"First time dining here was a date night. It was packed for a Tuesday, but afterwards I could understand why. This place gave 'european' in terms of vibe - the lighting, the loudness, the layout (iykyk). Our wait wasn't long and we were seated in the small bar area, which was fine as it was a bit quieter and more intimate. The service was good from hostess to our server & bartender. The food was great. Star was the bruschetta! We've been back a few times and ordered pickup. We try different entrees each time and so far haven't been disappointed (except for the fried seafood platter we got during the annual pop-up which is their defense they had sold out of what we actually wanted), but we get the bruschetta every time. The best part about getting it to-go...the package it separately so the toast isn't soggy from sitting under the toppings. And it seems like there is just more of it. It's so good it's inspired to try making our own. It came out good, but we both agreed Frankie's is better. Don't know what it is about that simple dish, but they do it better than any I've tried elsewhere.Anyway I digress - Frankie's is great. Dining there is an experience, and summer on the patio is awesome. But getting to-go is great as well when you want to avoid the crowd."
"Needed a pizza fix and this place delivered to my hotel. Pretty fast, decent prices, and the pepperoni was good! Only complaint is delivery guy wouldn't come to my room, and wouldn't leave it with the front desk, so I had to rush down there. Regardless, good pizza!"
"First timer: walked in after getting my hair done next door. It was after lunch. No one greeted me and there was no one behind the bar area. I didn't know where to go or what to do so I went to the cashier who was standing mid pizza oven in the back of the "restaurant". There were 4 employees standing around. There were 2 customers at a table and 1 at the cashier. There were 2 guests at the beverage area talking. I finally asked one of the cooks behind the sneeze guard what I was supposed to do to order a few pizzas, a Pyzone and a glass of wine while I waited. He told me I'd have to order the Pyzone online as it is only an online and catering item. He said I needed to order the pizzas on the line and the wine at the bar. His smaller friend turned his back to me and whispered something to him & was clearly talking about me. I told them both, "I'm a newby- this is my first time at a PYRO'S. I then asked if I could order the pizzas online as I already had them in my cart, but had hoped to drink a few glasses of wine while I waited. The taller guy who was kind, said to go ahead & order on line and he would have someone go to the bar and take my wine order. I went to the bar and was trying to order online but it wasn't easy. No one came to the bar. I waited longer. No one mar. ( I believe there was a very short manager in premise because I saw him playing with to go boxes at the beverage station. Finally the guy who had Ben speaking to me, said I should download the app as it is easier. I said I had used their website and the " order online" button but it wasn't working easily. I asked what the house wine was because it was "Wine Wednesday" & there was a discount. He named off a few wines and I asked if there was a merlot or a red blend. He said, " no, but there is a Cabernet". I said that would be fine. He proceeded to ring up the wine and the whole time I was still struggling to put the order in. I asked if he could put the order in for me while he was ringing in the wine. He said, "No, the order has to come in at the cashier and this bar POS doesn't go there". At that time he told me the Cabernet was $9.00 not the $2.50 special price. I was so frustrated I just said okay, let's move on; I need to get these pizzas ordered. I finally got the online website order placed & had to pay at the same place 2x. ( inconvenience). The young man who was answering my question, & came to the bar to serve me explained about the app. He was very nice and accommodating. ( Young male, about 5'8" , 22-25 years old, 175# short black curly hair and wearing uniform.)The woman behind the POS and the young man standing around ( female, about 5'9", 150#, dread/braids-up, about 18-23. 2nd male cook was about 5'4", long braided hair, about 18-20 in uniform) were both behind cook counter & he was eyeing me and clearly talking about me. I saw the first guy making my pizzas and Pyzone. He was working . After sometime, he came out and delivered my pizzas. $53 later I was out."
"5 stars for Carrie! The food was amazing, but the service was even better. If you have not been it's a must try for everyone!"
"Pyro's has a modern, industrial feel. We had the BBQ pizza and the supreme pizza. Both were delicious. We also each had a very nice salad. Quick service and very good food. We will be back!"
"I love eating local, and I love supporting local businesses. However, I cannot get behind paying $30 for a two topping large pizza that I have to pickup (no delivery option). Called in a 2 topping order, they told us it would be 20 to 25 minutes. after about 40 minutes, it was finally done and the bill was nearly $28 before tip. All said and done $30 for one pizza. No thanks.I also called them one time for a large (50 1 topping pizzas) order for our neighborhood (that again I would pick up). Gave them a couple weeks advance notice too. After explaining to me that this would require them to bring in additional labor for the day, etc. they essentially offered me 5% off the full price menu. I ended up going down the street for literally 1/3 the price. Not going to name other businesses or disparage anybody, but that's just not competitive."
"I wandered in yesterday, evidently for the first time in 13 years. I probably wasn't there at peak good pizza time, but got a burnt slice that was kind of disappointing. Slightly burnt crust, hard crunchy crust that I'm not going to really go into but it's not what crust needed to be, it was closer to a hard breadstick than any pizza crust I've ever enjoyed.I suspect it probably suffered from them reheating it for far too long, I had gotten to the point where I wondered if they had forgotten about it.Betting that were it closer to fresh it would have been quite acceptable pizza, but as with last time I was here the cook time was not quite right.Pizza looked good, I'll give it that. I want to try it sometime when it's not a reheat as I suspect that's what did this great looking slice in."
"We stopped by on a Friday night. We were immediately greeted and a waitress came over and took our order promptly. The pizzas came out pretty quickly and were absolutely delicious. I ordered the pepperoni pizza and it was very flavorful and perfectly baked. I also ordered a lemonade, which was very clearly freshly squeezed, and it was also very good. Overall we had a great experience with customer service and with the food. We will definitely be back!"
"Pretty cool decor lots of Elvis items on the wall. The service was cool as the server was able to accommodate a very large group so kudos to the server. Unfortunately, I wasn't pleased with the food at all. Sorry to say that the food was very basic. The meatball sandwich was very mid the meatballs were dense and not very flavorful. The mini side pizza was a very unique option and the caramelized onions were good, but again basic. Keep in mind they are pricy but for me the quality just isn't there nor worth the price. Overall it was just okay."
"We were in town for a baseball tournament and after a visit to Johnny and June Carter Cash resting place to pay our respects we headed over for lunch. Pizzas were fantastic, service great, conversation with the owner and servers was great.Really good pizza in an off the way location, but it's completely worth the drive/effort to get there. Found Sanders Ferry Pizza & Pub here on Yelp and very glad we came in."
