The Most Scrumptious Lounges in Memphis

Stopped in for a girls lunch, we were the first ones in and I'd never been before.The gentleman seating us was super kind and gave us a fantastic window seat option. Our server was cheerful & attentive w/out being intrusive. Loved him. He brought over house made congee as we sat down and it was utterly delicious! I could have taken a carton of that home with me, lots of flavour. Spring rolls were ok, I was expecting some meat inside similar to a Phillipino roll. However the Ginger-chicken was out of this world delicious, chicken was perfect fly grilled with a hint of smoke and flavour was amazing. Their wine and cocktail menu is nicely prepared and they offer sake, which I really like. I'd go back again for sure.

I was raised in Tupelo and last week I was in town to visit for several days, for the first time in as many years. I ordered my filet a Pittsburg medium and it came out cooked perfectly. How many restaurants have you ever been in that even knowns how to cook a steak Pittsburg medium-rare or medium? I'll wait why you think of somewhere. They are famous for their Prime Rib!My friend has celiac disease and the owner stopped by the table and shocked her by explaining that they offer most items on the menu as gluten free. She had cornbread for the first time in years and her food was also excellent. If you want an old fashion steakhouse that is a city institution, then by all means stop in Woody's and discover why it is legendary.

Prive is a gem with a gourmet southern dishes! (Surprisingly consistently well-seasoned and great proportions! ) Now, allow me to be honest; the food is more expensive than most and less expensive than others. On average think around $ 100.00 couple-with dessert-not ridiculous, and worth it! (I have on more than one occasion had enough for lunch the next day!) This place will be aded to the "rotation"!! I love their seasonings and efforts which ensure their presentation equals that of the quality and quantity of the food you ordered & receive!

Firstly, Kita was a 10/10 for service and hospitality! This is a fun spot for brunch because of the ambiance and the music was perfect for the time of day. I ordered the chicken biscuits and gravy with a side of mac and cheese. The flavor was on point and the food was at a perfect temperature. The chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy and tender on the inside. The biscuit was nice and fluffy. Definitely want to go back and try out more items on the menu.

I was so nervous and hesitant about going here but when I say they treated me with so much respect and love. It was awesome the owner was so friendly and lovable. Now I have to admit the food selection isn't the best but it its ok.....

We had reservations for 2 at 1:30 and was seated at 1:25. I ordered the Reservation Special. A lot of food but inexpensive. Server wasn't familiar with menu at all nor could answer basic questions. She was very sweet and went to the kitchen to retrieve answers. Still got the order incorrect but again she was thoughtful and sweet. It was a party of 2 and it took an hour for the food come out. The music and drinks made the hour suitable in addition to the ambiance and friendly courteous staff. This is not to say that they had poor service. They were all very nice. Sorry, didn't take any pictures but this is a nice spot to hear live music or comedy in Cordova. The seating setup is a lot better than some clubs in the area. Not all wannabe VIP sections. Can't comment on much because I didn't go to the bar or restrooms. What I do have to say is baby....them wings!!!! Get you some! I'm a wing connoisseur and the seasoned wings were cooked right!

Nice neighborhood bar. Friendly locals,good service. It's a smoking bar however the ventilation is good.Three pool tables darts , shuffleboard table. All the makings for a good night out.I am certainly interested in the Gibson Guitars hanging on the walls, especially the Flying V!!!!! LolTry the Bloody Mary, can't go wrong.
