"Hogwood is probably my favorite place to eat Barbeque in Franklin. I've tried almost everything on the menu, and it's all incredible. The meat selections are cooked to perfection, and the sides are delicious. Speaking of sides, you would think a tiny serving of pickles on each platter would be enough, not! I get a whole cup of these things, as one of my servings because they are so good. To be honest, I could probably eat several more cups. I went with a shredded beef arepa, and four empanadas; plain cheese, black bean, pork and a chicken aempanada. The arepa was delish and loaded with beef, cheese, and black beans. This was a Latin comfort food flavor explosion. My only very small complaint was the amount of grease that was on this sandwich. Maybe it was from the cheese? Ok, all of the empanadas were amazing, literally not a bad one in the bunch. Crunchy, huge and fully loaded with meat or cheeses. My favorite, surprisingly was the black bean and cheese empanada. After shopping at the Farmers' Market or strolling through Bicentennial Park, hit up Caracasville food truck for some delicious Venezuela eats!"

"This spot just recently opened, but there are no kinks to work out. Pretty simple process order at the counter, which looks like an old food truck. They have a variety of sizes to choose from, from 5 pieces all the way to 20...I got the 7 Piece Whole Wings. Keep in mind that these are ALL wings, there are no little drumettes here...hence the name Official WINGS!Lots and lots and lots of flavors/sauces to choose from, so I went with the Official Hot sauce, which I was told was the hottest one they offer. Threw in some cajun crinkle fries and a Sprite to round out the lunch.The food came out from the kitchen quickly, presented in a black to-go box layered with foil to separate the wings from the fries. The fries were loaded with cajun seasoning, it's good to see a place not skimp on the seasoning. They were crispy and tasted really good...but they were not the star of the show. I didn't come here for some fries, I came here for the wings. Perfectly fried and tossed in that delicious Official Hot sauce. You know they do them well when that sauce hurts your fingers when you have a hangnail. They were hot, not gonna pretend they weren't...I got the head sweats when I ate 'em, but they were so stinkin' good! The sauce was hot, but not so hot that you couldn't taste the flavor. These guys at Official Wings know what they are doing y'all!I really like the fact that the wings were fried and THEN tossed in the sauce...so many places cook the sauce on the wing and they're not saucy at all.I will definitely be back, definitely! If you're in the area, check 'em out...best wings around. Bar none. My ONLY complaint is that I don't think they serve the wings with blue cheese dressing...I didn't think to ask and the choice was not offered, but hey, it's their wing joint, not mine. What's nice is that similar to some taco stands, they give a lot of fixings like jalapeño pepper, grilled green onions, and radish, along with lime, onion, and cilantro, as well as avocado sauce. Tacos themselves are just average with an acceptable amount of meat, decently priced at $1.75 per taco. The issue I had was that the tortillas were soggy, so oil from the al pastor taco seeps through the entire dish."

"I've been seeing this place for the last few months, I guess its moved on from Spring Hill and now parked in Lewisburg on the Nashville Hwy, not that anybody would be craving this enough to go searching for them.Nice setup where they're parked with astroturf and tables/umbrellas connecting the gyro and expresso trucks. Confusing menu, looks like they've cut back on what they were originally offering. I opted for a chicken platter mainly because I didn't see any other options that made sense. The chicken was dry, didn't detect any marinade, and my plate was loaded with rice and some kind of salad I didn't find very edible. Also brought home some Baclava... do NOT make this mistake, they were terrible. Ever see that cinnamon challenge on Youtube where you have to eat a tablespoon of cinnamon without dying? Well thats what eating these rolled up baclava fritters is like. I'm leaving an extra star up there because at least this place is different, would like to see an expanded menu though, maybe some pan fried cobra or something."

"If you're a bit skeptical because of the looks and location ignore those thoughts, this place is delicious! They do get a bit busy around lunch (12ish) so I would recommend coming a little earlier or later. My go-to is the shrimp tacos. They have so much flavor and the slaw you get on the side is delicious. I'm not a big slaw girl, but squeeze that fresh lime you get it and I'm sold me. They are decent size tacos, not too small, so I get two and I'm pretty comfortable. I've also tried the burrito and MAN, is that thing huge! I got two solid meals out of that. It's delicious and very filling! You wont regret trying it. If you order a drink they have coolers outside you just grab from as well. Highly recommend trying a lunch here."

But this truck is paired up with an ice cream or something store and I think you can eat in there. I almost asked but decided it would be alright to eat in the van this one time. I love cheese so I got a quesadilla. It was incredible. I got the carne asada and it was tender and seasoned just perfect with lots of flavor. The cheese they use is thick and also has lots of flavor. The quality is really there. This was a step above many restaurants."

Initially, I assumed the damage was caused by a severe wind storm that shattered the windows, but I subsequently learned through an online news article that the damage was actually the result of vandalism. Nah baby you're getting the WHOLE WING. Top tier. Once you start adding sprinkles and substituting sides you'll see an increase in price. "Olive Branch newest Taco SENSATION!!Just kidding, they have been here a while. These fine folks were formally know as "Tacoholic", maybe they still are in the truck, not sure. If I am being honest, they were better off in the truck. It had better visibility. It was right there on 178. You can't find this place even if you really want to. There is no sign in the parking lot, on the building, on the door to the entrance, nothing at all. In fact, the day we came, there was a freaking fish fry in front of their door that blocked access. I thought my wife was wrong, apparently she follows them on some shit and knew the speakeasy password. It was also actually cooler outside (outside temp was 94) than inside this place. We ate at the bar and I almost melted. It may have been that devil salsa that also contributed some as well. Anyway, my point is, eating in my car is more comfortable than inside here any day until November comes. The family is nice, I have always loved this place and Frutanas as well. The dude that waited on us was nice too. Not nice enough to wipe my sweat. Speaking of... loose ass Waffle House style napkins are not the move OTTC!! I want them to thrive but between the no signage and obvious ongoing A/C issues this and all places in the brick barn are having, it's gonna be tough. Should put the damn trailer in the parking lot at least. Geez. Food was decent. I liked the cheese dip, other dips were meh. Burrito was not as good as the truck version. "I am not the type to leave a review and I want to give Speed Vegan the benefit of the doubt, but I'm only giving one star. Me and my partner went to Memphis Vegan Festival today and landed on Speed Vegan, after paying almost $50 for two sandwiches, we waited over an hour for our food, while waiting I saw their working conditions, no refrigeration for condiments or cheese, kitchen workers touching garbage cans then returning to handle food and not changing gloves, I got the jerk sandwich that really didn't taste like much and the fries were not cooked. After getting home I realized that it gave me food poisoning. Again I am not one to complain, especially on a local business, but I am really disappointed in this."
