"Gipson Doughnuts is a fantastic spot for anyone with a sweet tooth. Their doughnuts are always fresh, fluffy, and bursting with flavor. The variety they offer is impressive, from classic glazed to unique seasonal specials. The staff is friendly and provides excellent service, making each visit enjoyable. The shop itself is cozy and inviting, perfect for a quick treat or a leisurely morning coffee. Overall, Gipson Doughnuts is a must-visit for doughnut lovers!"
"Ok, we were visiting Nashville and while planning our trip, this place popped up everywhere, in every recommendation. So we went, and it was good. But I do not see what all the the fuss is about. We all (3) agreed that the lemon blueberry was the best flavor."
"We got a couple dozen for a Halloween breakfast. Made our own adjustments. These doughnuts are high quality and fresh, with great service."
"The food was delicious and a traditional southern meal. Blueberry donuts are only served in the morning, so go early enough to get them (I hear they are amazing). They were sold out of some chicken, but prepared some shortly after. Delicious food, and sooo fairly priced."
"While passing through heading to Nashville, this popped up as a place to try. Two out of five in our party were hesitant to go because it was vegan. However after our food was brought out and the first bite was taken, everyone loved it. The flavors were delicious and the portions perfect. I would highly recommend this to anyone passing thorough or near the area. Complimentary cold water, water with lemon, and unsweetened tea are as an added plus. The staff was very friendly and helped us make the right choices. Definitely a place I will come back to!"
"The line was wrapped around the lobby and out the door and I made it to the register in two minutes. Fast, friendly, and accurate. Now of course I'm driving these donuts back home and I'm like...might as well grab my maple bacon donut and give it a try. Guys...It was warm I almost had to pull over. There's just some absolute miraculous blessings in this world and a fresh donut has got to be one of them. Like bring a tear to your eye good. Go in the morning, when they're warm. Just, wow. Just me over here having a five year old moment licking my fingers. Happy Saturday Memphis!"
"We have been several times! The kolaches are a family favorite! Their doughnuts are always so fresh. They have great fast service. And the coffee is pretty fantastic!"
"Stopped here Sunday morning for for some donuts. Not much to say except great selection and delicious donuts. I opted for the chocolate velvet and was not disappointed. Also had a cup of coffee as they have a free drink with your order for checking in on Yelp. Thanks Donut Hutt."
"While a popular destination with morning commuters . Mid afternooners stragglers arrive after work, picking up their kids or craving a light after dinner dessert to enjoy after. Chill atmospheric moods fill the store as customers gather taking a slower pace browsing Howards display case showcasing the current days donuts & pastries. Select regulars & other customers prefer unwinding inside their store savoring their tasty sweets or enjoy it outside despite limited patio seating. From the moment Display cases start becoming empty , old coffee or tea start pouring into sink drains & final orders taken. Closing time arrives & closers begin cleaning, readying the store for openers starting a new day. Accustomed to passing down Germantown Pkwy during daily commutes, noticing different shops, dining options or traveling towards Wolfchase. Not having much thought pertaining towards this location existing because the signage & store is inconspicuously located distant from the curve. My Realization of Cordova's location existing occurred when my roommate in Bartlett requested I pick up a dozen containing varieties consisting of donuts & pastries in stock. Noticing from personal observations upon arrival, employees impressed upon me their pride displayed in their actions, maintaining a clean lobby area for waiting customers browsing the days ending through clear spotless glass. Despite losing some morning freshness, donuts & pastries sold maintain quality flavor & texture. Day Old's (yesterday's pastries/donuts) are still quality & appealing towards me along with other cost cutters wishing to enjoy an abundant stock cheap. A personal favorite method for prolonged enjoyment with day old's are chilling & reheating which still remain enjoyable paired with any favorite morning beverage. Personal favorites of mine include French Curler along with Milk or a classic pairing of glazed and coffee. Employees & staff met my expectations when providing quick friendly customer service towards their customers an enjoyable visit here. Friends & visitors staying around the Memphis area will receive my recommendation for stopping here when passing through. Be sure to like on FB & tell a friend https://www.facebook.com/howards38016/"
"On any given morning Driving to Howard's as dawn approaches & the morning commute of regulars stop in before work. Customers gather at the counter eager for a quick & convenient bite. Other regulars prefer taking the day slow & grab a seat quick as dining room space has limited seating & they are wanting to enjoy a slower pace savouring their tasty pastry sandwich Kolache or donut with coffee or morning beverage of choice offered. From the moment display cases are stocked coffees brewed & orders taken the morning rush begins. I use to pass Howard's giving it no thought until stopping in with my ex gf on her way to work making me a new regular here as I frequented here while she ordered her dozen glazed & I would order my usual of a ham egg and cheese croissant a kolache & french curler with milk. When I arrived the first thing I took notice of was the display case showcasing a small variety of pastries and donuts which all looked delicious so I ordered a dozen for me & my ex gf to share later that day. There's a warmer counter containing my 3 favorites of Kolaches croissant-wiches & breakfast biscuit varieties filled with delicious breakfast meats. There's not more I can ask for, variety it's perfect. When I would receive my hot sandwich or kolache my orders would differ in consistency. There's times I'd come in early yet the sandwiches or kolaches would be lukewarm & what would remain unchanged is the underwhelming seasoning of my breakfast sandwiches. Cashiers here are hospitable & helpful with my orders. If it wasn't for the lack of time & limited seating. What I would do is take time watching traffic pass by while I enjoy my meal. Why not? They keep the dining room clean. It's peaceful enough to read the paper or a book. When I'm back in town I'll take the chance when visiting with friends & enjoy my usual order for old time sake & see what has changed. "Let's just say I have no reason being in here! But Charlie's Donuts are the best in town! The donuts are not overly sweet but just sweet enough to hit the spot. My favorites are the kolaches and the old fashion donuts. The owner is a very sweet lady who always has a smile on her face! I must warn you this place is very addictive!! But don't take my word for it, go check them out for yourself"
"By far our favorite donuts in the world but beyond the taste, the people make it the best! I can't even EAT the donuts (GF) but I love going in and getting them for my family."

Great high quality gourmet donuts at reasonable prices and great service. If I lived nearby I would be going by on the regular. Wish the world had more places like this.

Maple Glaze Doughnut: Five Daughters Bakery is a family business in Franklin, Tennessee. The bakery is owned and operated by the Meek Family, which includes their five daughters. Their signature item is known as the 100 Layer Donut, which is a hybrid of a croissant and a donut (basically their version of a Cronut). 100 Layer Donuts take up to three days to make and once cooked, they're rolled in sugar, filled with cream, and topped with a heavenly glaze. Seven staple flavors are offered year-round along with limited time flavors that change from month to month. Unfortunately, I could not visit the bakery myself, but my parents were nice enough to bring me some doughnuts after visiting my brother in Nashville. The Maple Glaze Doughnut is rolled in sugar, infused with vanilla buttercream, and topped with maple glaze dusted with cinnamon. Taking my first bite I was immediately impressed by the thickness of the doughnut and how sweet the maple glaze was. Texturally, the outside of the doughnut is crisp and sweet while the interior is chewier. After my second bite, I encountered plenty of vanilla buttercream lurking inside the pastry. I'm a tough customer when it comes to doughnuts that are supposed to be "packed" with filling and are not (Stan's), but it's safe to say Five Daughters Bakery knows what they're doing. The vanilla butter cream is a little difficult to see in pictures because of the light color, but trust me, there's plenty of it. Their buttercream frosting was incredibly rich and reminded me almost of butter. It does balance out nicely with the super sweet maple flavor though.Doughboy approved.*Also, great customer service. I emailed them a question about nutritional information and not only did they provide me with it, but they also replied the same day (Thanks Ronnie Meek!). Unlike other businesses that sometimes take weeks to respond (The Cheesecake Factory).Doughboy_Food_Reviews

Big and fluffy! Most friendly donut shop in Memphis! There is a percentage upcharge for using a debit card, but that's because their prices aren't inflated to make up for it before hand.

Connie's has always been an institution in Tupelo. With the purchase by new owners I had some concerns. They did seem to go thru a transition and lots of new employees, but they seem to have it all working great now. I have the usual chicken gravy biscuit often and it's been great. I had a few soggy experiences with onion rings a few times but I think they have that under control now. I would recommend Connie's to anyone

Nice place to sit indoors or outside to eat. I am gluten and dairy free. I also try not to eat soy. This place had so many options for me I was mind blown! They list the allergen info on their menu and the placards for the desserts. Some of the desserts I didn't choose because of soy. I do know they fry in soybean oil. I'll see if I get a migraine soon. That's part of what soy does for me unfortunately. I went back for a dozen desserts to take with me. The blueberry lavender donut was the best GF donut I have ever had. I can't wait to try the others. I couldn't finish my fries, but that's ok. My boyfriend enjoyed his tacos and didn't realize he wasn't eating fish. I told him and he said he thought there was something a little off but he couldn't figure it out, because it was still really good. I am going to savor every dessert I'm bringing home.

First time customer and have only one-time experience. I was buying for the children of the Missionaries of Charity who is nearby. I tried one donut and it was good. I was also told by the children that they loved the donuts. It was a busy place but they were moving the line of customers. Great customer service and great early morning ambiance. Looks like customers are regulars. Thank you!

Nice little donut shop. Not a huge variety but all really good. Not your run of the mill, mass market donuts; some of the are truly artistic in their presentation.

"We had a yard sale this weekend and there was a man who stopped by and chatted to us about how great the pineapple fritters were from Bartlett Donuts and told us he was actually originally headed there before he stopped by our yard sale. We all almost drowned on our own saliva just thinking about these pineapple fritters, but we all had to stick around for the rest of the yard sale. The man ended up leaving and came back roughly half an hour later with a pineapple fritter for us!!!He wasn't kidding when he said they are phenomenal. I live in Cordova, but I will absolutely be frequenting Bartlett Donuts for these delicious fritters. As for the man, who is a complete stranger to all of us, I hope you see this review one day and know that you absolutely brightened all of ours day. Your small act of kindness meant SO much. Thank you a million times."
"We've had these a few years ago.The old-fashioned cake donuts are the best. Melt-in-your-mouth good. Nothing flashy. It's not unheard of to want to down more than one, and why not when they're that delicious. We liked supporting a smaller business instead of a bigger chain.Perfect place to get a dozen to bring into work -- they're in a pretty busy location right off of the highway."
"Stopped here on our way through. The owners were super sweet! We called bfast sandwiches in ahead and couldn't resist the donuts. The croissant bfast sandwiches were delicious! The bacon is sweet and made a great treat! The donuts were light and fluffy. Everyone in our crew loved what they picked out! They had the cutest mini cinnamon roll donuts, some with raspberry swirled that were my fav! The classic glazed, long John's and cinnamon sugar were a car/kid favorite! I definitely recommend for a quick stop! Oh and they have a drive through! Coffee was standard/ok."
"They are so incredibly nice! I've always been a Krispy Kreme girl, but their fresh glazed donuts puts them to shame! Best donut I've ever had!! Will definitely be back!"
"Sundays are for donuts!!! My girls absolutely love love love these donuts! They always have the cutest designs and yummy flavors. These donuts are soft and fresh and stay soft through out the day. They do not stale like some other places do after a few hours. They also have spicy kolaches that are really good and different breakfast sandwiches. They have two big fridges filled with lots of drink choices but hot coffee and cappuccinos are available as well. The service is friendly and fast! My favorite donuts are the red velvet and chocolate frosted! You can't buy happiness but you can buy donuts! Close enough!"
"This place is small, seating maybe a dozen people, and the selection isn't huge. The donuts were really good. The owner, despite having limited English skills, was friendly, helpful and even gave us a bunch of donut holes for free. I would definitely support this business and others like it before this entire country is overrun by nationwide chain organizations like Dunkin Donuts. Stick it to the man and get your donuts here!"
"I am so glad I found this spot! So fresh, so yummy, so much variety! I went in and was greeted with kindness and friendliness. The have such a huge selection of donuts, breakfast sandwiches, coffee, and drink machines, and so much more! They have space for costumers to sit and and enjoy their food. Everything is neat and clean. I had a half dozen donut holes. I ate them so quickly lol! They were fresh and warm. I can't wait to go back and enjoy more when I am in the area. The price point is really good as well."
"Had 2 large coffees and 2 croissants with egg sausage and cheese. They were AWESOME. We both loved them. The price was around $14 which seemed very reasonable. Cute little drive through. There appeared to be a cute little dining area inside, but we did drive through. The guy at the window was super nice."
"Best donuts in Southaven!!! The owner is so friendly and always has a donut hole waiting for my daughter. Great donuts for a really great price. I go here for grabbing donuts for work or the family."
"The sign should say Shipley's "sickeningly sweet but super delicious" Donuts. These are some of the sweetest donuts I've ever had. It's probably not good idea to eat here if you have diabetes. Or, if you're on the cusp of getting diabetes, this may put you over the edge. However, you're only going to live so long anyway ... I'd recommend the blueberry and the cinnamon roll. The guys I was with loved the cream filled donut. Not sure what the "Do - Nut" was (afraid to ask), but you really can't go wrong with the donuts."
"Great place, and excellent layout. The customization is far simpler than it may seem at first and I would recommend ordering online or at least have your selections mapped out if your customizing your order. Customer service was top tier. I wish the location was more central in the city, but eh. Donuts are lighter than expected and the right level of sweet."
"Great spot for nutritious shakes and teas. The owners are THE NICEST people!!! Lots of flavors of shakes and teas to choose from. Give them a try and you won't be sorry. They are on Byhalia Rd in Collierville behind Cheers. Get some!!!"
"Little, fried angel halos. That's how I'd describe Shipley's donuts. They aren't perfect. They'll be strangely shaped and irregular at times, but one thing you can bank on is that they're like airy little pieces of heaven. Messy? Probably. Sticky mess? Yup. Delicious? Without a doubt. But don't just stop at their donuts. I usually also get the "pig-in-a-blanket" thing which they call something else. It's basically a big sausage link wrapped in a donut dough but without the glaze. I generally go for the jalapeño version with cheddar cheese cause I'm a glutton for punishment. It's heartburn wrapped in a donut. I always regret the aftermath, but never the lead up to it. They are greasy and spicy and fatty and cheesy. All of which are describe my favorite types of food. If you need some donuts you should really go here. If you want some heartburn that's worth it get those sausage things. Shipley's is always good. I've never had a complaint. Definitely give them a try."
"I've had a few rounds of doughnuts from here from when coworkers have stopped by and grabbed a dozen to share with random people. The workers here are really friendly. I got two different types of pigs in a blanket. The one with flaky crust was my favorite and ideally I'd like the jalapeño one with flaky crust. This place is run by a sweet married couple. They also have a drive-through if you'd prefer not to leave your car. If you spend under a certain amount they have to charge your card a small fee but it wasn't a terrible amount. Loved: - Doughnut: Chocolate Cake with Chocolate Frosting- Pigs in a Blanket: Smoked Sausage (flaky crust)Liked: - Doughnut: Chocolate Cake Glazed- Pigs in a Blanket: Jalapeño"
"I like this place. The owner is very nice and patient. She makes suggestions. I have been here about 5 times and have tried something different each time I got. They regularly have a limited time flavor for their teas or meal replacement shakes. Prices are around $7-9 depending on if you are getting a meal replacement shake, loaded tea, or specialty tea. They offer $1 with social media check in. This is another Herbal Life nutrition stopped. I have tried a few others but have had the best customer service at this one."
"I fool with ole Donald Donuts. Thy aren't quite Gibsons but thy are pretty close! They have never ran out of your norm glazed donuts and they even have got breakfast food for you to buy! They keep orange juice, cokes and coffee stocked too! I pick dozens up at a time for home and work. Like I said I fools with Donald's. Definitely the best option in Midtown."
"Coleman here; Place slapppsssss! I had the 25 piece family catering order I spread it around my front yard and crawled around on my hands and knees scavenging for each delicious piece. I put the mash potatoes in the dryer and forgot about them but I'll get them next time and let y'all know. 10/10 would recommend!"
"Filling for an afternoon snack or breakfast. Would 8/10 recommend trying at least once. The inside is very nice as well. The service is fast too."
"LOVEEE this place. The service is quick and the people there are polite. I go a lot and order my usual egg and cheese with donut and it never disappoints."
"OK so to start off when we pulled up it took forever for the person on the drive-through to say anything and then place the order pull up to the window. I'm not sure if that was a boy or a girl or what it was, but they were extremely rude asked us four times what donuts we ordered on top of that the drinks were wrong and they were not complicated drinks they were actually like the loaded teas. Both of those were wrong. The donuts were hard as a rock so it was a super disappointment because that's not true Dunkin standards and I won't be back ever again. HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED AS DUNKIN IS USUALLY SUPREME TO STARBUCKS, but not this location."
"I went to Dunkin in Tupelo Ms for the first time and got two chocolate glazed and they had no glaze on them and two chocolate sprinkles and they only had sprinkles on half of them and the powdered cream filled had no powder on them."
