"Jaybear is such a neat little place. It's not an ordinary bake shop. Everything is about appearance and presentation. It's super clean and super cool. I sampled a few things and it was all delicious! Donuts, cupcakes, candied apples, and even cake pops. What really got my attention was the Cookie Monster cupcake. They also serve breakfast! Right next to Mojo's, what a way to complement an amazing burger than with an amazing sweet? I think her name was Jamie. She was super sweet. I'd been working in a mud puddle an hour earlier, and stupid me, I'd forgotten all about it and when I looked down at her floor, I felt so bad. It didn't matter at all to her. She was just glad she'd made a friend. Check it out. You'll love it!"

"We are big fans of this little and still pretty new bakery! We had the opportunity to try them for a Yelp Elite pick-up event, and we've been back a couple of times to grab cupcakes here and there. The flavors are excellent - cookies and cream is our favorite - and every time we go, the people are always friendly and kind, and the place is always extremely clean.I wish they had a better and more prominent location because I want to see this place make it and last, and admittedly, I wish they were closer to Midtown where we are at. However, they are a go-to stop whenever we are out east!"

"I cannot sing their praises loud enough. Everyone at my mom's wedding was asking 'who did the cake!?' Not only were they absolutely lovely to work with, Therese and Clarice really cared about making sure the aesthetic was exactly right. And how often do you see a gorgeous cake that tastes so delicious?!Originally I called around all the bakeries in Memphis, and chose this service because they were personable, attentive and I didn't feel like I was just another order. I asked for a Memphis Tiger-themed cake, and they literally created the logo by hand in fondant. Above and beyond. It was the hit of the party. My mom insisted on calling them the next day to say thank you. And our venue folks asked us to leave some for them because it was so tasty! We've since ordered cupcakes several times, and they are always just as delicious as they are lovely to look at."

"We absolutely love the Bluey family cake that Moca made for my son's 2nd birthday! She was so accommodating and able to create this beautiful cake with barely a day's notice. It was so moist and had the perfect amount of frosting. Also, I'm super impressed by the fact that she uses natural food pigments instead of artificial dyes to color her cakes (in this instance, blueberry powder). We will definitely be ordering from her again! Of note, the bakery can be a little hard to find at first, and it is tucked away within the Memphis Co-op here in Cordova. We were able to pick up several other treats from other vendors when we picked up our cake, which was definitely an added bonus! Thanks, Moca!"

"This seems like a local favorite based on the fact that the earliest they are taking orders is October. Purchased a cake that was just right in terms of taste and frosting. The decoration is really also very good. So we went back for cupcakes and the consensus was that these were delicious as well. We found a long strand of blondish/white hair in one of the cupcakes, which is a shame. The person who found it practically spit out the cupcake - this was embarrassing for me as the person who purchased these cupcakes. However, overall the cakes are good, but the cleanliness of the location and staff is probably questionable and we won't be going back anytime in the near future."
