James T. "I grew up coming to Canale's, aka "Home of the Hams". I'll always know it as Canale's but the hours that they're open couldn't fit my schedule better. The lunch sandwiches are like they used to be but the breakfast biscuits seem to be missing that 3:00 am freshly cooked taste. Having said that they are still delicious! Also I love the fact that they kept the non ethanol gas, great for my equipment."

"I didn't really believe my co-workers when they said that the gas stations in Tupelo had pretty good food, but decided to give it a try while I was out there on a business trip and it was close to the site. Wow, I can honestly say it is the best food I've ever gotten at a gas station! Their fried catfish was solid! Perfect amount of breading, big fillets, warm, moist, perfect seasoning! The sides were great too, they cooked their beans with chunks of meat, and the Mac and cheese was warm and cheesy. The chicken tenders weren't bad, but I had just eaten tenders from Connie's the day before and these didn't quite match up.Will definitely come back here if I'm back at the site in Tupelo."

Little restaurant in the back of the grocery. Nothing pretentious. Easily the best Mexican food in the area. 100% authentic. Flavors are fantastic. Delicious. Comparable to some great places in California. Prices are reasonable. Have been a repeat patron and will continue.

Their Deli is nice and pretty big in here. They have lasagna sometimes on it. The customer service was fast and friendly in here as the cashier even spoke to me. They have other items in here as well like drinks and some really good peanuts that are honey roasted. They have lots of seating in here with lots of tables. Yes, I highly recommend this Deli and I would cone back if in the area.

"Fuel & Food ~15 miles outside of town.Nothing spectacular ... but it's a SUPER CONVENIENT stop if you're in the area.Lots of warehouses nearby with 1,000s of workers needing a quick, hot meal. Slayden offers more than the standard gas station food -including chicken, catfish, spaghetti, etc. They even have SMOKED RIBS. Yes, I said ribs -Full slab, half or 3-bone! Chicken Tenders were good -but still needed sauce. People were super-friendly."
