"I wandered in yesterday, evidently for the first time in 13 years. I probably wasn't there at peak good pizza time, but got a burnt slice that was kind of disappointing. Slightly burnt crust, hard crunchy crust that I'm not going to really go into but it's not what crust needed to be, it was closer to a hard breadstick than any pizza crust I've ever enjoyed.I suspect it probably suffered from them reheating it for far too long, I had gotten to the point where I wondered if they had forgotten about it.Betting that were it closer to fresh it would have been quite acceptable pizza, but as with last time I was here the cook time was not quite right.Pizza looked good, I'll give it that. I want to try it sometime when it's not a reheat as I suspect that's what did this great looking slice in."

"This review is a tale of 2 cities. Two of our party go there weekly (one craves the Smash Burger Quesadilla - a direct quote!), while we've been a few times and this was a first for the others. We started with the ubiquitous queso Blanco and Guacamole dishes. Then, between us we had a good sampling of the tacos (Blackened Shrimp, Tinga and Collards, Smoked habanero Shrimp), and Quesadillas (Smoked Brisket - 3 of us, Steak and Potatoes).A couple of us thought there was just a tad too much cheese in their (Smoked Brisket) sandwhiches, though the flavor of the brisket was quite good - and we both felt odd about complaining about too much cheese. The spice - even of those with 3 pepper images - was well within tolerance. Service was another split. A couple minor complaints were heard about our waitress (brusque? slow?), though I didn't agree.Ambiance is 'young'. It's 4-page menu is 3 pages of alcohol! It's a bit of a maze getting there, though it's less than a football field from Germantown road. I'd say if you're into high-end food, and a good crowd, you've found your place"

"They take pride in cooking and preparing the food to bring. The food has a lot of flavors and you feel refreshed eating here. The salad has a lot of mixed leafy greens slightly tossed in nice tangy vinegar dressing that isn't overpowering. I tried their vegan dish, Bean Ragout with Winter Greens with brown rice. Really whole some and the pomegranate seeds adds a little bit of tarte and crunch to the dish to balance all the beans. Sticky Toffee pudding is a must try dessert. It's sweet, moist, and the small scoop of vanilla ice cream balances it out. Will come here again for lunch."

"This spot just recently opened, but there are no kinks to work out. Pretty simple process order at the counter, which looks like an old food truck. They have a variety of sizes to choose from, from 5 pieces all the way to 20...I got the 7 Piece Whole Wings. Keep in mind that these are ALL wings, there are no little drumettes here...hence the name Official WINGS!Lots and lots and lots of flavors/sauces to choose from, so I went with the Official Hot sauce, which I was told was the hottest one they offer. Threw in some cajun crinkle fries and a Sprite to round out the lunch.The food came out from the kitchen quickly, presented in a black to-go box layered with foil to separate the wings from the fries. The fries were loaded with cajun seasoning, it's good to see a place not skimp on the seasoning. They were crispy and tasted really good...but they were not the star of the show. I didn't come here for some fries, I came here for the wings. Perfectly fried and tossed in that delicious Official Hot sauce. You know they do them well when that sauce hurts your fingers when you have a hangnail. They were hot, not gonna pretend they weren't...I got the head sweats when I ate 'em, but they were so stinkin' good! The sauce was hot, but not so hot that you couldn't taste the flavor. These guys at Official Wings know what they are doing y'all!I really like the fact that the wings were fried and THEN tossed in the sauce...so many places cook the sauce on the wing and they're not saucy at all.I will definitely be back, definitely! If you're in the area, check 'em out...best wings around. Bar none. My ONLY complaint is that I don't think they serve the wings with blue cheese dressing...I didn't think to ask and the choice was not offered, but hey, it's their wing joint, not mine. Keep up the good work Official Wings!"

"Chez lama comes to my work place as a fooda vendor and they're so great every time. I hadn't had authentic Caribbean food since visiting Jamaica the first time earlier this year. The pork, red beans and rice and fried plantains are my go-to! The spicy slaw was a great topping too.. spicy! I always get a side (or 2) of plantains to take home with me :) Lamar is so nice as well and we love having them."

"Man, the flavor is 10/10. I first saw Polynesian style food vendor at the Soul Food Food Truck festival and then they started popping up everywhere. I'm in love with the Teriyaki Chicken plate which comes with 2 scoops of rice and mac salad. Now they have Dino beef ribs. They are so tender and meaty. I also was able to try the Vai meleni which is a watermelon milk drink and was really refreshing. The chicken is juicy and flavorful. This is becoming one of my favorite new places. Memphis has nothing else like this and I'm happy we do now."
