"Wonderful service and a great atmosphere! The food is always great! Family friendly. The proportion sizes are great."
"This place was awesome! I didn't partake of the buffet. This was my first visit. While waiting for my to go order, I walked around and viewed the entire buffet. Every food item appeared to be fresh and recently put out. The cashier who took my order seemed tired but was cordial."
"Can I just say that CoVid is a jerk? Now that I have that out of the way, time for my review.Under normalcy I really like this place. They have a pretty wide selection from sushi to mini corn dogs. This is where I usually tell you what I ate.... I ate everything, okay? Don't judge me. CoVid has this place weird. So usually I would just walk through the buffet balancing as many plates as possible to get as much food as my 160 pound frame can handle. But now you have to let someone else spoon the food out for you while you wait. Ugh. Annoying. I mean, I get it. Everyone is terrified and whatever. But can we agree it's annoying? The food is almost always good here. I'm very partial to calamari and the egg rolls. I usually overdo it on these two things in particular. The calamari is so salty I have to take a drink after every bite. And that's why I love it. Hey look, if you like Asian buffet type food then you'll like it here. It's not gonna blow your socks off. But it's pretty good. And you can't beat the price. I definitely recommend it. I eat here about every two weeks. Definitely try the calamari!!"
"This is a relatively new buffet at Gold Strike Casino in Tunica Mississippi. When in Tunica, I play poker at the Horseshoe, which is right next door to Gold Strike. Tunica used to be like a mini-Vegas, but it dried up. I'm going to do my best to change that and bring Tunica back. It's part of the reason I drove three hours from Pearl River to Tunica (for a meeting). As far as the Gold Strike Buffet Americana goes it's one of the better casino buffets. It's also WAY better than the buffet at the Horseshoe. If you want to go the buffet route, go with this one. It's not even close. The service here was good, it's clean, and you can get your own drinks (a good thing at buffets in case the food sucks and you need to wash it down). Buffet Americana did a good job for Tunica. Way to represent! Nas would be proud."
"They have so many menu selections, they have fried chicken, fried fish and shrimp and boiled shrimp and salmon and so many side dishes, salad choices and desserts selections and ice cream too"
"I'm not sure I'm doing myself a favor by telling you how good the food is here! LOL We arrived about 4:30pm on Friday and already found a church group from Muscle Shoals (party of 12) and another group of 7 ahead of us by the time we got there (they had opened up 30 minutes earlier). When you pull up to Reeder Road you see a sign for the restaurant. Google maps told us the wrong place to stop. We had to go further down the road past a bunch of cute place houses for children and small sheds. At the end of the road it opened up into the parking area for the restaurant. It was packed with cars and a bus! There were a group of people waiting outside to be seated. You must go up and inside to the register up front to give the hostess your name and the number of people in your party when you get there. THEN you can sit and chat with the locals. I lived in Huntsville for many years so I'm considered local even though it's been about a decade since I've been home from out west. We sat and waited for about 45 minutes before we were called with another party that also happened to be there celebrating a birthday. We got in and went to the buffet. On Friday nights they have a seafood buffet. All I can say is... It was AMAZING! I ate until I was about to pop! The food was SO good! Even the "worst" were average while the best items were some of the best food I've eaten anywhere (which is saying a lot as I've been all over the US)! Some highlights were the chicken wings (I don't know what seasoning they used but they were AMAZING), ham (delicious and juicy), lima beans (I don't even like then but those were good!), blackeye peas, green beans, fried okra, cream corn (homemade), mashed potatoes (homemade), fried fish, fried clams, hush puppies (no onion in them but they were still amazing), seafood stuffed mushrooms (so good it took us a bit to even get some to try!), shrimp cooked in garlic butter sauce, tarter sauce (homemade), vanilla ice cream (homemade in bucket churn with ice and salt), coconut cake (homemade like Nana's), peanut butter delight (think dessert pudding that tastes like the inside of a buckeye that's been thinned out a bit to pudding consistency), brownie (homemade), and fresh tea. Even the average tasting food: mac and cheese, chicken tenders, grits (cheese and ham flavor), and their biscuits and cornbread were still good. For a TINY restaurant, in the middle of nowhere, run by a group of lovely Mennonites you couldn't ask for a better meal. With the price being about $14 per adult I know we will be back before we leave the area!"
"Food is ok. Few items on the menu. Service was great. Lovely atmosphere. I would recommend."
"The most amazing customer service we have ever experienced. We had placed an order for pick up and when we had arrived to pick up our food, the lights were all off on the inside and the hostess had said they were closed but were happy to fulfill our order since they were still there working. They could have easily ignored our phone call but instead were kind enough to make time for us. Also, the food is always delicious! Would absolutely recommend to everyone."
"The old times stoves are filled with deliciousness just like my husband remembered when he visited here back in the 80's during fishing tournaments at Kentucky Lake! The original owner passed away in 2020 and her grandson has kept her famous Dinner Bell restaurant going with the same delicious recipes! The menu is solid and won't disappoint! The staff is amazing and keeps the buffet fresh! The fried chicken and catfish are the main items that will keep you coming back! The sides taste like my grandmas cooking which makes this place an even better experience! White beans, green beans, corn, mashed potatoes, sweet potato casserole, collard greens and fries! The cherry and apple cobbler are fresh out of the oven and you can request vanilla icecream! The salad bar has so many fresh and healthy choices. They also have the old fashioned Watergate salad and banana pudding! The dinning room is cozy and quaint! You will be seated with others at picnic tables! The servers keep your glass full and have been working here for many years! They care about this restaurant and make you feel special and you will want to come back. Prices are amazing for all the food you can eat! even though they said they had to raise prices last year: Adults are $14.95 and kids 12 and under $7.95 and 6 and under $4.95. You can walk off all the calories you will just have to consume by visiting any of the local parks at Land Between the Lakes and the Kenlake State park! You can even buy a sweatshirt to remember this walk back in time!"
"This was a great little hole in the wall! Boiled shrimp was spot on, fried fish cooked to perfection!!! I love to see these small, family owned businesses, thriving. The owner was so kind and sat outside and talked to us for a good 10 minutes before leaving! Will definitely come back!"
"The best hand tossed Pizza in the county. The have a salad and pizza bar for lunch and dinner. They make the best hot subs anywhere around. They will even make special order pizzas. You can dine in or order to go.Right next door to the dollar general store"
"Chow King is one of those places in town where you go there and your eat there and no matter how it goes, it's always just okay enough. I find myself going here whenever I'm in town just to reminisce more than to eat and enjoy my lunch. Their food isn't nasty or anything, it's just your typical Chinese buffet food. They do have a small American portion but I've never eaten anything off of it. Honestly- I only get the shrimp, noodles and make myself a salad. I would recommend them because their prices are fair and the service is always good. There's more locals who go here than students so it's always nice and quiet without a big crowd which in Oxford is hard to find."

Small town Mexican restaurant, friendly staff and great atmosphere. The orders "to go" are perfectly packaged. Will definitely eat her again when I feel like Mexican in Henderson.

Buffet Americana prides themselves on quality and service. I have yet to have had a bad experience. My servers has always been on top of keeping my table clean. When I pile up plates and glasses a mile high or table spills. I also like the fact of the convenience of the self service beverage station offering your normal lines of sodas juices & milk along with a alcoholic beverage station offering beer & wineBuffet Americanas chefs & kitchen staff do the most exceptional job working their stations weather it's carving stations or the cooking stations for pasta or stir fry. They're on top of their game in making sure it's hot fresh delectable & fits the most picky of pallets. Not to forget our chefs working in the back trenches of the kitchen to feed the hungry masses of starving gamers. The food they bring to each of their stations seafood italian or whichever station they're assigned to cook & maintain. But without further ado I would like to mention the end to any great lunch or dinner the dessert station. Everything is kept fresh has a viva variety of desserts to choose from. From your sugar free pies pastries and Ice Cream you can customize yourself with toppings and syrup. Always remember not all heros wear capes these station workers are here to make your dining experience of the Buffet unlike any other.

My husband loves this restaurant. We have moved from Columbia. It's been over two years but my husband still remembers the sweet potatoes and he wants to go back for more. He says he doesn't mind driving 2 1/2 hours to eat their sweet potatoes.

Wonderful traditional cooking out in middle of nowhere, 20 min off I 65. Worth it even if you have to charter a helicopter to drop you off! Small salad bar but delish! Pickled beets, fresh cucumbers & delish shredded ham and shoestring style fresh radishes. Friday night seafood buffet had delish grilled shrimp, stuffed crab, fried oysters, and ham. My fave veggies were stuffed mushrooms, fried green tomatoes,, creamed corn and sweet potato casserole. That last item was perfect, not overly sweet. The best was melt in your mouth cherry cobbler, homemade vanilla ice cream and fresh strawberry topping. Coconut cake was also finger lickin good! My test of a really good meal is I could not tear myself away from my plate to go get my piggish second helping of mushrooms and fried tomatoes! I did go back for some light and tasty cornbread with homemade apple butter on top. Don't forget the Dutch Oven bakery and bring ice and ice chests to carry back their fabulous pies, cheesecake and cakes! My friends love their Colby cheese. Enjoy, and it closes by 7 pm!

Had lunch there when we arrived. As pointed out (for YEARS apparently) they seem to be very understaffed and missing items at times. I had the Rachel sammy...which is basically a Reuben with turkey instead of corned beef. It was ok but I actually thought it was missing the sauerkraut as I ate the first half and then discovered it was almost all on one side of the sandwich :-) The house made chips were ok if not great. The waitress who served us was very cheery and did what she could under the circumstances. Most of the food here is "drop in the fryer" kind of stuff. My GF wanted grilled chicken tenders and they only had pre-breaded stuff but they found a chicken breast somewhere and grilled that for her. My biggest beef was Monday morning when they're supposed to have a free Continental Breakfast I showed up at 8 am and the single coffee urn was bone dry and no one around to ask for more. Just grabbed two danish packs and headed back to the room. That's just poor management there. A hotel should NEVER run out of coffee at 8am on any day.

It's not a fancy place, but that's ok! The food is always fresh and very delicious! Prices could be a little lower. But overall it's good! Going for dinner tonight! Service is good and prompt. I'd like to give 4.5 stars.

"I am extremely happy to report, Mister Juicy and I have found a (somewhat = 33 miles away) local 'down-home' restaurant, which serves Buffet Style Home Cooking (sadly no pizza on the day we went) and 'Daily Special' on yesterday's was Chili, Salad, and with a Grilled Cheese for $4.95 ! Can't beat that can you? On their menu is Pizza, Pasta, Seafood etc. (see photo)We had the buffet, while it looked kinda bland, with slim offerings, their was more than enough to choose from. EVERY-thing we tasted was GOOD! They even use Salt & Pepper here! As you know, NOT-the norm. for this area, Plus maybe different spices used as well! Sadly, both of the meats were fried and chicken, but each tasted different and were cooked perfectly. The pictures I posted are off their face-book page, but the lunch buffet looked just like it.Also the place was super clean & our waitress busted her buns and was super friendly. As you walk into the place, you are greeted at the door in large , faded letters. . .'NO ALCOHOL ALLOWED', now I know what you're thinking faithful followers . . .Yes! I still entered...well, this WAS only lunch. That said, after we finished, one of the owners gave us the ad (see picture) of their Friday Night Seafood Buffet... booze or not... I think we'll be visiting them very soon... HEY! maybe tonight. I will report back later :) Only open Monday through Friday, I THINK . . . but they have a Sunday Buffet listed for $8.20, so maybe you should call #931. 296. 7552. Lunch Buffet $6.38, Dinner Buffet $8.20, Seafood Friday $10.95"
"Great Mongolian grill. Chefs were fantastic. Buffet itself was ok at best. Clean environment. Wait staff was fantastic"
"I prefer the old food at the old location. The people were nice enough-there seemed to be too many servers for customers. Our waitress, a young oriental woman, was exceedingly nice & prompt. The food was just bland, the fish tasted burnt, & that's not how I remember it tasting a year or two ago at the old spot.So I had written the above (with two stars) when Ed's first moved to its new location (and forgot to post it). It's at least a year later and I've been eating less carbs and decided to forgo that for a meal. So we gave Ed's another chance and it was pretty good! Much more up to the "old spot" standards. They set out a little at a time, which I kind of prefer so it doesn't get dried out and taste like typical buffet fare. I'm not big on seafood, so I can't speak for all of that aspect, besides the catfish, which was fresh, soft, and really tasty. But I thoroughly enjoyed the sides - beans, cabbage, macaroni and tomatoes, etc. The desserts are small portioned, but they're so sweet, that's all the size that I would want. If you want more, just get two servings. Staff was pleasant, it was an overall much better second experience and I'm glad we gave it a go again!"
"Excellent fresh catfish! The new restaurant building is very nice! Service was great & fast!"
"This China Buffet was recommended by my mama. I had to come to Indianola today for business anyway so I stopped by here. I got my buffet at lunch time for a very reasonable price. The all you can eat buffet and a sweet tea was a little over $8. I really liked this China Buffet and yes I will come back. All the food was delicious and the service was exceptional. They kept my sweet tea full at all times. Some of the food I saw on the buffet were: noodles, brown rice, chicken (many types) fixed different ways, rolls, jello, oranges, pears and peaches."
"We stopped 700 miles into our 1000 mile journey at Winona, MS and immediately consulted yelp for where to dine, looking to avoid chains and fast food. About 5 miles from the highway through a very rural area, we found McAnerneys, a modest but homey restaurant definitely off the beaten path. The menu was simple with steaks and catfish and a few daily specials. My companion and I both had the small ribeye (which was not small), baked potato and salad. The ribeye was substantial in thickness and size (yeah, yeah, that's what she said - I know you were all thinking it) but modestly priced with simple, homespun sides. We had no room for the buttermilk pie, but it sure sounded good. This was worth the trek off course for some real food. The owners were very warm and appreciative of our visit. Worth going out of your way for."
"THIS IS THE WORST BUFFET EVER!!! Everything is old... the workers don't care and you pay thirty dollars for the smallest selection in Tunica. Do yourself a favor and save your money!!! They should give everyone a free buffet for the crap that they present. The crab legs, fried fish, shrimp and chicken were all nasty. I had a feeling that I should've passed on the buffet after seeing how outdated the casino was. Figured I'd be the first to comment to save other people from wasting their money. Barf!!!"
"My wife and I just ate here for dinner this evening. It was our first time here. All of our Christmas errands, etc, were done, so we decided to take a ride and try somewhere we had not been to before. The first thing you learn is that this place is NOT A STEAKHOUSE!!! I did not ask to see if it was in the past. This a buffet / sandwich / steak / seafood restaurant. Tonight (Wednesday) was $9.99+ tax per person for the buffet, so we said yes because our stomachs were growling. The menu is modest, but they have mostly favorites most people like.We had no way to know if the help here on the 23rd of December was their "A" crew or inexperienced volunteers. The service was severely lacking, nonetheless. We got the buffet because after receiving our water promptly, the menus arrived after I was half finished with my first plate of food. My wife looked at the menu (as did I), and no longer felt like waiting. Most (90%) of the items on the buffet were cooked nicely and in good shape. The beef tips were a bit hard, but the rice to go with it was excellent. The "Salisbury Steaks" were of unknown origin!! A favorite of mine, "Mac and Cheese" tasted more like "Mac and salty Velveeta." All of the vegetables were good, especially the Brussels Sprouts. The only exception was the corn. It looked rough and I'm not crazy enough to try and chew it.The pre-portioned desserts were fairly decent. The pies were all nice, kids were enjoying the ice cream dispenser and the pseudo-cheesecake was OK. The one disappointment here was the Red Velvet Cake. The thin slices were so dry, we could hit it with the heavy end of our knife and not put a dent in it!!!We felt like taking a ride and travelled through several counties to try this place. It was OK. Would we venture out again just to come here, maybe, but not any time soon. Is it worth stopping to eat here if you're rolling by on US 412? Yes, we believe it is. For the price, absolutely!"
"Well, if you never been before, the food is a variety a.k.a. buffet yes that's right buffet style so upon entry the buffet is already a part of the gameplay admission. There's three different options for entry. The friendly customer service person at the front will more than happily go down the list of options for you, but just know that the buffet is a part of all three upon entry, it is a lively place. I mean there's tons so if you're going there to avoid noise then that's not it but if you're going to have a good time and that there's tons of children then you're in the right place."
"I am not going to lie, when my hubby said he wanted to stop here I had never heard of Casey Jones. When you start out in the museum they have a short movie that explains who he was. Then you walk through the museum, then outside to a train and Casey's house. You end up at the gift store with all kinds of merchandise for the little ones. We didn't go to the restaurant so this is about the museum only.Employees are really nice."
"Its a buffet, don't expect to eat the most best food, but you can expect to have good food at a good price. The service is good also. And the decorations are cool. Very nice environment to eat in."
"For the price of what you might pay at a chain restaurant you can enjoy a buffet that offers more than just the regular offerings. Let's go over the confusing part here first. Processing and payment. I approached the counter to pay for the buffet. Mostly this was easy to do, you pay, you get your ticket, and then you move onto your seat. However, what they don't tell you is at the beginning of this, if you want to tip via your card, you have to inform them at the time of payment. I didn't find this out until it was time for me to get up and go. My server let me know that I could do this and I would have to go back to the counter to ask for this to add the tip onto my bill. But instead of the tip going to my server I would have to get a slip to hand to my server insuring that she would receive the tip I had added to my card. So, long story short, add the tip to your card if you aren't carrying cash before you start to gorge. As for the food, it truly depends on the day that you are here as to what is the theming of the food. I happened to visit on the Thursday which translate to Cajun. Not my favorite, but not to worry. Not all the food is Cajun, it's just the theme for some sections.Speaking of sections, this place had a good mix. The most interesting of it being that they have a bar that you can get a drink from if you so see it fit for your meal. The sections are Ladle & Field, soups and salads, Mama Mia, Italian, mostly pasta and some pizza, Southern Fixin's, think down home cooking like fried fish and sides, Butcher's Block, all the meats and possible some burgers, Fresh Catch, fish centric, and Sweets & Co., all dessert. When I was seated I was asked what I would like to drink and of course I went with sweet tea. My server, as you can tell at the beginning of this review, was a dear and took care of me throughout by checking up consistently.I started out by just diving in, I also did a round of all the station so I knew how much of each thing I could try and not feel bloated after a plate of when I was finished. I went back multiple times and definitely got my fills worth. Mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, fried food, the list could go on. I finished strong by sampling the sweets. When it came time to get up an go, my server made sure to stop by. This was the most weird thing that happened, she full on hugged me. I'm not one for physical touch from someone I don't know, so this caught me off guard. But I somehow leaned into it, like I needed the hug."
"Probably the only buffet in town let alone Chinese buffet. The food is decent the service as well surprisingly ample parking it's not really a big restaurant but the interior is pretty nice for what it is. It was $28 for two people with iced tea. Only thing I would change is they need to crank up the heat of the steam tables during lunch time, food kind of room temperature."
"I never leave here without a full belly and am particularly fond of the fajita meat and vegetables that come out hot on a sizzling platter. This restaurant is enormous and it can seem like you're never going to get the attention of the waitstaff, but I've found them to be efficient and helpful in every way. For those interested there is also a full-size buffet option if you want a little bit of everything. Only downside I ever found was the salads often had wilting lettuce and unripe tomatoes on a few different occasions."
"The owner a man true to his word. Fast friendly service excellent food fresh n hot a must for travelers visitors locals you won't be disappointed"
"We just moved to this area and I'm extremely glad to find a great Chinese buffet to go to! There food was Fresh which is a huge portion of what makes a buffet good, and it tasted great! The staff was wonderful, I never even saw our waiter but our drinks always magically refilled (Asian voodoo). We paid $16 bucks for two adults so extremely affordable. Would highly recommend checking it out."
"I've been craving a good ole fashioned Chinese Buffet for a very long time. I'm shocked that this place only has 2 stars...it's a Chinese buffet....lol... not sure what these other people expect. Salty, luke warm food is expected and was exactly what I was craving. My favorite thing at any buffet is chicken on a stick and the little sugary dessert bun things. No idea what those are, but did I eat 4? ....yes. Staff and servers were great! Everyone is so nice and welcoming. Could the place be a little more updated and a smidge cleaner? For sure. But I really enjoyed my time here. Oh and this place is very cheap....we paid $27 for 2 buffets & 2 sodas!"
"Food was very fresh. Restaurant was very clean and inviting. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. My first time here and I will be back again very soon!"
"I should have known something was wrong when there was just a few people gathered in this restaurant. I came here for their breakfast buffet. So this review is for their breakfast which I had two times in the past month. However, I do not know about their lunch or dinner buffets which might be better. Service: I walk in and sit down and see 3 waitresses standing and talking. They just look at me and I'm hoping one will come over and take my drink order so I can get up and go to the buffet islands and start deciding what I want to serve myself. Anyway, after them starring at me for about 2 or 3 minutes, one comes over and takes my order for orange juice and coffee. As soon as I sit down, one of them should come over and and take my drink order as I don't want to choose buffet items then sit down with no drink.Anyway, I was disappointed in their buffet. Their bacon was like eating rubber. Their sausages had some sort of plastic wrapped around them that made them hard to eat. Their French toast strips were cold and hard. All 3 of these items were not tender enough to eat. Their pancakes were cold and half way burnt. Now their scrambled eggs were pretty good. There was a cook to the right that would cook your eggs fresh on the spot. So, on my second visit I ordered two sunny side up eggs and they were good. Their biscuits were cold too and when you try to cut them with a knife - they would just crumble. I wanted to just put some butter in them and maybe some jelly. One tip I can give is that they do have specials for seniors over 50 on Wednesdays. In summary, I think most of these foods on the breakfast buffet made me regret it later. I will not be coming back even though it was free, I'd rather pay for a good breakfast. I would like to know what others think of their breakfast buffet."
"We came on a Sunday after a late ole miss game, and it was delicious. They have a buffet for 12.99 that was excellent and the other dishes everyone ordered we well liked. The service was good, and restaurant was clean."
"Phenomenal customer service. We were welcomed immediately upon entering. The buffet food was plentiful, fresh, and had many options. The place was very clean and inviting. Hands down - my favorite Asian buffet and the cleanest restaurant in the Oak Grove/Fort Campbell/ Clarksville area. The food was delicious and had many options for my keto diet. That day, I took a day off to enjoy some carbs for Turkey Day.Run don't walk to this buffet."
"Nope. Paid full price for a Buffet at 8:20 pm. Closing time is 9:00 pm. No rolls, almost no desserts, out of multiple choices on multiple bars. Was given the wrong drink and waitress never came back. Started mopping and pulling the buffet down before 9:00 pm. To top it off, we both got very sick afterwards."
"The food was good. The waiter was very attentive. There was a good section of food to choose from. We ate there during the pandemic, and had to wear a mask and gloves while getting our food from the buffet. The restaurant supplied the gloves, which was convenient. This experience was far better than another buffet we visited where we had to tell the staff what we wanted while we were standing at the buffet counters, which were wrapped in Saran Wrap and had holes to reach in to get your plate. I recommend this place."
