"I was eager to try this new restaurant that's close to me. I went in for lunch, and ordered an appetizer of spring rolls (3 for $4.29), a Spicy Salmon roll of sushi ($6.25) and the Hibachi Chicken ($11.99) which comes with either a soup or a salad. I chose the salad over the onion soup offered.The salad was uninspiring - it was 99.9% iceberg lettuce, but good and cold and crisp with a nice ginger dressing in a cup. All the food was good and fresh and hot. The chicken had a good flavor in a tasty sauce. The vegetables were also excellent. The rice was a good quantity in its separate compartment. The Chicken Hibachi was served in a plastic container with everything separate (I had told them I'd be boxing it up).The sushi was also good - the raw Spicy Salmon roll was on a par with any sushi I've had in Jonesboro. I'm not a sushi expert but I know when it's good!Overall I think you get good food, but the prices are a bit high. You can go to other oriental food places in Jonesboro and get a buffet all-you-can-eat, or takeout by the pound, and pay considerably less. Nevertheless I will be back to Umai, not only because it's close and convenient but because I'd like to try other menu items.Lastly - and this is not the restaurant's fault - the taxes are killing me on food! My food cost came to $22.53 but the total bill with taxes was $25.77. That's $3.24 or 14.38% in taxes! I sure hope we in Jonesboro are going to get our money's worth for this outrageous amount of taxes on food - but it's probably a forlorn hope."

I sure wish that although it's a lactose milk product they use for thir drinks... other options would be nice as well. Almond Milk, Coconut Milk, soy milk or others. I'm sitting here enjoying my drink and a random stranger walked up and asked what I was drinking. ..I couldn't help but turn into a car salesman lol... giving her my honest opinion on the amazing flava-flav of Taro! "Right when we entered the vibe was calm and fun, we were met by a nice waiter who assisted us. The drinks were amazing all of them were not too sugary or too sour the lemonade is an amazing one. Not to mention the appetizers and the food, Hands down the best food I have had in 6 years. It was fast, delicious, and we met the owner and he was SUPER nice we had an amazing time talking to him! The music was good and there was a certain room he let me see it looked just like the seats in Korea it was amazing. An amazing place to have fun, eat amazing food, and chat!"

"This place is so cute inside, I'm a huge fan of the pink interior lol! I got helped quick as I was the only customer in there. As for the boba, I got the brown sugar and cream cheese milk tea . I wasn't the biggest fan of this particular flavor as the cream cheese was so thick and I had to wait for it to water down for me to finish it. However I do feel like it's worth trying a different flavor and the fruit teas look really good so to be continued as I will be back again!"

"I was in the area for the first time and saw this bright yellow coffee shop and decided to stop in after lunch. First thing I noticed (besides the vibrant, cheery atmosphere) was the flavor options they had! There were so many I honestly didn't know what to pick. I was about to choose a simple flavor but the barista told me he'd surprise me based on what flavors I enjoyed. I don't know what flavor I got but it was the best hot coffee I've ever had. Everyone was so nice and accommodating, just generally happy people. We need a Bean Scene in Nashville!"

When you first walk up to the restaurant, you see all of the displays of what the experience is going to be like. They have life-size models of the bowls and other items that they have. It's a very friendly environment. It is also easy to place and pick up your order. The Taro Milk Tea I had was delicious! I added the strawberry popping pearls. They added so much more flavor and made the whole experience enjoyable. As for my bowl, I created my own. I had the ramen bowl with shrimp and crab meat, an egg, onions, green onions, tomatoes, spinach, corn, fish cakes, and red cabbage! My spice level was spicy. I truly enjoyed and it was very filling. I would definitely go again!"

"I went outside to clean the snow off of my car and had the sudden craving for some egg drop soup. I hadn't been to Mulan in a long time and thought, that would be a good place to go so now I'm on a mission. I arrived to a somewhat empty restaurant but due to the weather I was happy that they were open. I was warmly greeted and seated by friendly staff members and they made sure I was well taken care of. The restaurant is nicely decorated and they have a Bubble Tea Bar, with a huge variety of Bubble teas, Smoothies and other drinks. I ordered the Egg Drop Soup and one of the House Recommendations The Honey Chicken. My soup was good and steaming hot, to be fair it wasn't the best Egg Drop Soup I ever had but it was good. The Honey Chicken was cooked perfectly but a little too sweet with the sauce and pineapple but tasty, I did notice it didn't have any carrots as described on the menu . Next time I'll try the Mulan Shrimp maybe it won't be as sweet. Overall I had a great dining experience and will return to try something different."

"This place is quickly becoming one of my favorite fried chicken places here in beautiful, family friendly, crime free, Memphis TN!It's got a seasoning that is unlike any other of the other cayenne heavy batters/sauces that are so familiar to me. The skin is crispy, light, and damn near perfect. The meat itself is amazingly juicy and so freaking full of flavor. It's really good!There is some kind of magic happening in that weird little kitchen as far as the chicken is concerned. I have never actually seen anyone frying chicken, but somehow it's always hot and stupid fresh. I suspect some ancient Korean Shamanism possibly. More on that later...The sides however need a blessing from something.... I have yet to find one that lives up to the chicken hype. Mac & Cheese was an extremely large nope. I'm not even sure wtf that was. Cheese dip, maybe??!! Fries are standard and just ok. Mashed potatoes are the best side, but really aren't that good. The little uniform bits of potato throws me way off. The folks working here cannot possibly be real. I have no way of expressing myself that will succinctly describe the voice and mannerisms of every person that I have spoken to. Some may say I do too many drugs, but I swear these folks are aliens or bots from the future sent to save you from mediocre chicken. Take note, future Adam.... "This is a new place to Dickson but the concept is old to me. I moved here from Tulsa where they have what is called "the rolling cow" in multiple locations. Fresh made and right in front of you. The only caveat I had is that they only have two steel slabs to make the ice cream. So if there are multiple people, it takes forever to get your order. In my case we had about 9 that had already ordered in front of us. Also, only about 6 different choices. In tulsa there's probably 40 choices and a make your own. Overall, fresh, great ice cream."

"I'm a huge fan of this place! The place looks really nice. The music they play is pretty good. Plenty of seating. They have always been pretty quick when we've come and they are nice. Also, if you ever have questions on what to order, they can help with that. Took me awhile to try this place, because I was skeptical if I would actually like this type of food, but ever since, I've loved it. I usually get a poke bowl with tuna and/or salmon. I tried crab meat once and it was good. The chicken was a bit plain. Except their crispy chicken appetizer is cooked perfectly with a yummy mayo sauce. This past time I tried brown rice and if you really like brown rice, it's fine for the bowl, but I personally don't think it went well. I prefer the sushi rice for the bowl. For the ramen, I mix it up, but you can't go wrong with whatever you get, and the spicy is just the right amount of spice and flavor. My absolute favorite drink here is the Dalgona Brown Sugar milk tea. It's AMAZING!!Give this lace a try if you haven't yet. Definitely worth it!"

Being his birthday, we decided to get a variety of rolls for all of us to share and then individual meals for each of us. The sushi was 5 star level for Jonesboro...probably 4 stars if you were in a Little Rock or Memphis or other major city. The flavor of the fish was pleasant and the only knock I have is that they use a bit too much sauce on the rolls. Still, we devoured them very quickly once we received them.My General Tso chicken was some of the best I've had in a while. It was actually HOT (spicy) instead of just tangy. The temperature of the food was nice and hot as well, which I like. (I don't mind having to wait a few minutes for the food to cool so I know it's cooked all the way through.)My son ordered the chicken Udon soup noodles and wasn't entirely happy with it. Said the flavor was rather bland. He barely ate a quarter of it. (Felt horrible that it happened on his birthday. :( )Bottom line: Chin Chin is in the upper level of sushi and Chinese food restaurants for the Jonesboro area."
