Burger Barn

A walk up "Sweden Cream" type of dairy stand that now primarily sells burgers, patty melts, slaw dogs, and chili dogs. It is probably the most inexpensive meal in Jackson, and the best. I got 2 burgers and 2 fries for a little more than 8.00. It not in a very good part of town (the old 5 points area, near Royal St. and Lexington Ave). The location does not keep the customers away. There is always a crowd ordering and waiting. I Phoned in an order, but it didn't seem to speed up the ordering process. Customers are responsible for spacing and following pandemic guidelines. Ordering is through a window with the customer outdoors. It is chaotic standing in line and ordering. Separated by glass and muffled with a mask does not help communicating an order. The burgers are good, real good. It is the best burger in Jackson. It is worth the trip.

Excellent burger & fries at a great price! Didn't know the burgers were double patty. Will definitely be back again.

Best burger in Jackson from some reviews? I hope not, as it was just so so. Lots of toppings, but the burger itself was somewhat dry. We had been expecting like a greasy spoon type of burger with more seasoning. I also had their veggie beef soup, again, so so. Tasted like store bought, little personal flavoring added, not too much ground been either.I will say their onion rings were the best I've ever had. Perfect smaller size, perfectly cooked, and excellent flavor. We'll come back, try something different the next time but definitely get the O rings again.

Hamburger stand. Outside seating only. Good local food with hand made patties. Fast and priced right for lunch.

Burgers we good and fresh. Prices are just right and device was friendly. Wouldn't of stopped based on looks but yelp didn't let me down I will go back and when I want a burger and fries it will be my go to spot

Burger barn seems to be an anomaly in and of itself. This small walk up restaurant has a basic menu and a basic staple and a basic way of doing things. It works. The food is better than expected, but could use improvment. The shakes are great. You get exactly 13 tater tots per order and 2 ketchup packets (you lost a star for this one burger barn). I've had the slaw dog and would not get it again, but I've had the party melt and highly recommend it. All in all, it's a good place for a quick bite. Enjoy

Damn good Burgers and Spicy Fries,a little but inconsistent on the partysizes, but overall worth the money.Can't give it 4.5, so my rating is a 4

Great burgers. We get them when we are in pick wish. Wish they had a place in Savannah.

Loved it, very fresh didn't care for the seasoned fries they didn't taste like seasoned fries but the onion rings were good

Best burgers and shakes!! Honestly, everything is good! All pick up or outdoor casual picnic tables.
