Bucky's Family Restaurant

Bucky's is a solid country restaurant.I was in Columbia for two weeks working on a film, and the hours were crazy whenever we could, we tried to go to to Buckys for some homestyle food.I would always get breakfast, but the buffet looked good every day .It's a real no-frills joint, but the people are extra nice , fast (and the waitresses are very good looking).I had chess pie my first day there, and I couldn't leave without taking a slice home.First rate.

Awesome family diner!!! We had breakfast off the menu and it was delicious but they also had a wonderful breakfast bar which we saw many people take advantage of and it looked great too. Service was wonderful and everything we had tasted great!!

First time try. No complaints. Hope to visit again, when in Columbia Tennessee. Only open from 6-2, so no dinner!!!

1st time here. Sunday food bar. I chose the meatloaf, blueberry cobbler & cream corn. Meatloaf was so bad I ate only 3-4 bites, blueberry cobbler was cold. It didn't taste right. Ate 2 bites. The cream corn was good. I'm not one of those customers that complain to the server. I just won't go back. Besides bringing my tea to my table, the server never came back to ask how everything was.

Hard working Americans, de-LICIOUS food. With all of the restaurants having a hard time I hope this place remains a staple here in Columbia. I love Waffles, but this place is better.

Great local place with home style cooking. They specialize in comfort food. Very casual and down to earth, highly recommend!

So this is a place where the locals come. You can't compare it to something like first watch because this is a dinner. Not a restaurant. (attached picture) The difference is the atmosphere, food selection and the pricing. If you are looking for French Toast with cream and Carmel sauce drizzle with powdered sugar and a mint leaf on top, this isn't your place. If you're looking for basic breakfast, good service, great prices this is your place. Danielle our server was really sweet and attentive. I had western omelette and biscuits, and my wife had pancakes. She asked if they could put blueberries in them because it wasn't on the menu and they were happy to oblige. The food is pretty good but again nothing fancy. Our bill came to just over $17.00 and that included my wife's coffee. Half of what it costs at most restaurants. For what it is, I give it 4 stars. The service and pricing put it up that extra star!

We enjoyed our meal there. Good size portions. Tasted good. Manger greeted folks and was very friendly. He carried on an extended conversation with us. The appearance is very dated, but the taste of the food and service is what is most important to me and they were good.

What a local treasure! Down home food, friendly service, perfect portion size. It's not cuisine and doesn't have a trendy vibe or decor, but if you want good food at a good price, this is your place. Highly recommend!

Don't expect fine dining, be ready for good food and a pleasant atmosphere. The breakfast is good and quick service from Danielle, she is a pretty girl and very pleasant and calls everyone darlin! The prices are very good, a bit more than fast food but a lot less than most restaurants and cafe's!
