Brooksie's Barn

We came kinda late and close to closing. The buffet was meh, I wouldn't say it was terrible but it could have been because it was late. The staff however was so pleasant that I would consider trying again.

Feb 3, 2024, went to Brooksie's Barn they have the best Buffet for catfish fillets, whole catfish, chicken, BBQ etc, ate the catfish, really good, great service & greatest waitress, very friendly environment our first time there not the last.

I want to expand my Jackson TN restaurant visits but I can't venture away from this place long enough to do so. I think this is becoming the spot for my me and my friends after a visit to the local wellness center. I'm most definitely not complaining. just don't have the I would love to try their entrees and veggies but Iroom...or appetite. I generally go with the Soup, Salad & Dessert Bar because it's $9 and delicious! The salad bar is always fresh with a variety of delicious options.

Food had no flavor. The ribs taste like they had liquid smoke on them. The cornbread was loaded with sugar which is gross to me. Very, very expensive. Just my wife and I eating the buffet cost $45. That's not counting the tip. I will not be back!!!

This is one of my favorite places to eat out for dinner. The food is always great and the restaurant is always clean. It's never to crowded and everyone is always helpful and polite. I love this place, bring your appetite.

Overpriced, bad food:Three buffet's and three waters. $16.99 per buffet. It was Sunday and I asked what the cost was. The girl at the cash register said, "It depends on the day." Now that I'm home doing the review, I see they charged us for 1 drink ($2.75). So, my total was $58.96. With a 10% tip I paid $64.96!!! Well, maybe the Sunday buffet is better, you say. The peas were bad, the corn was so bland, and even tasted bad after salt and pepper. How can you mess up canned vegetables? The pork was dry and tough, my son said the ham tasted bad, and the Mac and cheese tasted bad. The chicken strips were ok, but not even close to Zaxby's. Fool me once, shame on you!! I'm actually mad from this experience! I was introducing this restaurant to my 12 and 13 year old boys for the first time, and I'm a resident of Jackson. It used to be pretty good, before COVID. NEVER AGAIN will I go there! If I could take away the one star I would. Our waiter was a nice guy from Venezuela. It was I'm the only thing that was positive. My salad was ok. Don't waste your money. DON'T GET ROBBED LIKE I WAS! Good riddance!

I was with a group of about 20 college athletes. We got great service and the food was fantastic. Had something for everyone.

A little pricey, but delicious. Their pineapple fritters are amazing. You won't find a better fried catfish fillet.

First, I have to say that this was one of the best buffet restaurants that I have visited. The ribs and chicken were excellent, the desserts were the comfort food you grew up with and the taste was great.The service was friendly and went out of their way to make conversation and ensure that yall had what was needed.

We ate there on Feb 13th and it was delicious! First time we ate at Brooksie's Barn in years. The fish, hamburger steak was so mouth watering delicious. I would encourage everyone to go check it out!
