Food: 5/10. The burger was great, would have been 8/10, but you really serving a plate of Ruffles for a side of chips vs making your own at that cost? Absurd.Staff: 7/10. Super nice and knowledgeable, but understaffed and it shows in speed. Hire more people. Dont tell me "no one wants to work". Judging by the crowd you can afford to pay well.Vibe: 5/10. Generic "Hipster/Country". But very clean and well put together. But the patrons... If you aren't wearing flannel or a beige sweater, you will be eyeballed the whole time by everyone. My green hair and metal t-shirt certainly wasn't accepted by the locals, lol.Value: 10/10. What you get here vs McDonalds is incomparable. Same cost, 9000x better.Overall, I'd come back if I lived here, but as someone passing through, I'll try a different place on the way back

Another good (not great) visit here for lunch. The chicken salad was good but it was not enough to fill all of the bread up so that was a little sad. The fries were good but they were not freshly prepared as they had been sitting around awhile before being served.

Passing through from California. Pleasantly surprised to see a more hipster style establishment. Ordered the Swiss burger, Mac and cheese burger, sweet potatoes fries that included a yummy marshmallow creamy dip, some fresh broccoli AND Moscow mules all to go. Service was fabulous, food was even better! Take advantage Poplar Bluff, this is the highlight of Westwood Blvd.

Good eats. I had the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich, which was good. It came with fries. While a bit pricy, otherwise it's a worthy stop while in Poplar Bluff, Missouri!

I ordered from here more than five times. Once , my sandwich was correct, even though I had to go back and say, " where is the turkey ? ". Then the last time, they changed the gluten free bread. There was half of one piece, like from Walmart or something. I don't know if they take the food to make a sandwich. The potato fries are good, but still can't get them hot , and four of them. This is the most expensive sandwich that I have ever purchased. They charge more for card too. I waited over an hour. They forgot my broccoli too, and bacon was burnt. No mustard either. The lettuce was great, if you like a lettuce sandwich.

What an unexpected pleasure! We've been on a motorcycle for 15 days, from Richmond Virginia to the Grand Canyon, now heading back east. We are trying to stay off interstates and highways as much as we can and we have run through a gazillion small towns where most restaurants are much of the same, different variations. bread & butter has that hip feel, in an industrial, warehouse like setting. They offer an eclectic, unique spin on regular dishes. A burger with a waffle for a bun, waffle cut sweet potato fries, for example.I had the mushroom swiss burger with sweet potato fries. Left nothing on my plate! My companion had a ham and cheese that had 2 or 3 different cheeses and potato salad. He left nothing behind, either.Our waitress was friendly, attentive and efficient. Dinner arrived quickly. They also have some amazing looking deserts, although we didn't have any. I also really liked the t-shirts!A nice change from the usual

This little restaurant in Poplar Bluff MO is a great little spot. It's a really cute, clean establishment. Prices are fair for the food you get which is pretty darn good tasting too! The Burgers are large and the fries are excellent. The service was excellent as well and the food came out very quickly. Give it a try!

Discovering bread+butter during my travels through Missouri was a delightful surprise. This hidden gem has now become a staple stop on my route from Florida to Kansas City. Our waitress, Alyssa (if I'm spelling it right), was exceptional--effortlessly managing multiple tables without missing a beat. The food was a true highlight; The La Vaca wrap and pickle fries bursted with flavor. Even my husband and three kids were thoroughly pleased with their meals. The blackberry margarita hit the spot, and although not a matcha fan, tasting my husband and son's iced matcha green tea changed my mind. I had to grab one to-go. Overall, bread+butter exceeded expectations, making it a must-visit on every journey through Missouri.
