Brad's Bar-B-Q

A down home "mom and pop" bar-b-q joint with a rustic feel. Wait staff was nice, quick, and kept our drinks full. Meal was grand. Pulled pork nachos. Pork was so tender that it was falling apart in my fingers. Sauce had a hot and mild option on the table. Was sweet bbq, which I enjoy. All in all, a place I would love to take my parents.

Drive thru 20 minutes Cole slaw mushy, no taste.Sandwich had no sauce, chopped pork tasteless.Baked Beans okBeen long time since I visited here, guess I might try in another several years.

I have now experienced Texas, Kansas City and now Memphis BBQ in their respective areas and I might not be a fan of Memphis style. Brads is a sit down style restaurant where there is one server who does pretty much everything. It feels like a classic BBQ joint but when it comes to the food I found it a bit lacking. The sandwich was good but I want to be blitzed with flavor and I just didn't get that from the pork shoulder. The Cole slaw that was added I could barely taste too. I had to add a generous amount of BBQ sauce to really maximize the flavor. However the smoked turkey was very good, I just wish it was served hot. The standouts were the onion rings and potato salad. The potato salad was a lot sweeter than I was expecting but it was really tasty and had no celery in it.

Eh not so good sadly. Brought family from out of town and we definitely got some of the older portion of bbq and roast chicken. Skin kind of pulling away from the meat which feels like it was under the lamp/heat and got dehydrated. Same for ribs. When it is fresh it is probably good but I'm not trying to test it out again.

Stop in for the first time yesterday and got the twelve pack. It was so good the three of us pigged out and ended up finishing it. The bbq was tasty and moist the sauce was perfect and the baked beans were so tasty. It may have been my first time but will not be my last Give them a try you will not be disappointed!!!

I have been wanting to try this place for quite a while. Today, I gave Brad's Bar-B-Q a try. I have to say that I was kind of disappointed. If you like ribs with a lot of meat on them, this is definitely the place for you. However, if you like your ribs with a good amount of meat and smoke, don't try this place. The ribs need more smoke. The ribs taste like someone baked them in the oven and kind of have an oven baked texture! The restaurant has been in business for almost 50 years, so they are obviously doing something right. Had the jumbo BBQ sandwich plate. Slightly above average BBQ. They don't hide their Q under a lot of sauce like many places do. Nice smoke flavor throughout. Onion rings were great. Beans were just ok,,, not your typical Memphis style though. My dining partner had the BBQ nachos. The portion of BBQ with the nacho's was incredible with maybe a pound left to take home. Kristen, our waiter, was friendly and attentive.

We haven't eaten there in a while because we don't live in Bartlett but we will definitely be going back. The food was delicious and the staff were super friendly!

I've been eating @ Brad's for years. There's been several locations in Memphis, Bartlett, Moscow, and Oakland. I can't say it's been good every time, but it usually is. I remember in Oakland, I could not get my tea refilled and had to choke my meal down dry. I blame the waitress more than I do Brad's.Brad's is good! I've had a great experience everytime @ the Bartlett location.You should expect a pleasant dining experience if you go there. The ambiance is good too. Brad's is solid.

The food was so so. Ribs had more cartilage then usual and the French fries were straight baked from the bag. The bathrooms were gross. The service was excellent but overall the place could use a good cleaning.
