I loved that they had Cauliflower Crust Pizza. The waitress was great and helped me craft an amazing pizza. Good vibe.

Ambience was very cool. Servers and manager were sitting at entrance, lackadaisical and playing on their phones. I could see thick dust up on shelf that encompasses the dining area, and no one cleaning...not a good sign. We went during happy hour when doubles were the price of one. We asked if margaritas were included, and the waiter said they were, so we ordered 2 doubles. We each ordered another and an appetizer and dinner. Potato skins were yummy. For dinner I ordered the Mac and cheese brisket---brisket was good but masked with too much BBQ sauce. May I suggest serving separately? The flavors were good, and I would have liked to experience each independently.Husband ordered lobster-crab linguini,and his review was that more seafood would have been good. It was mostly pasta.Bathroom decor was very classy.When I spoke to the manager about the extra charges tacked onto my bill, he said it was extra for the margarita mix. WHAT?? This is a first. If the margaritas were not part of happy hour, we should have been told. I would happily have paid for a vodka drink...The manager (big glasses and shorts) told me that's just the way it is and offered no $ off. I was feeling disappointed and deceived and tricked. Whatever.Bad taste in my mouth for a restaurant that could have scored big!

My wife and I stopped at Bourbon and Barley for a mid afternoon Friday lunch and were somewhat disappointed. Bourbon and Barley in Jackson has a contemporary feel and a nice sports bar vibe that is comfortable and appealing. Table service was friendly and efficient. However, our food was really not quite up to the level of the surroundings. We both had buffalo chicken salads and shared an artichoke dip and chip appetizer. Both were quite pedestrian, the artichoke dip was thin, and the bleu cheese dressing ordered for the salads was ranch. We also had double Old Fashioneds, which were the special, and they were simply not up to par, either in size (for a double), or in quality (much too sweet!). Bourbon and Barley has a good reputation locally and it may be that we simply ordered the wrong items. We may try again.

Service was so slow. The food was average at best. I had to get up to find my server. Very disappointed because I wanted this place to be good.

It was our first time visiting on the way to Memphis from Nashville and what a pleasant surprise! The food was tasty from start to finish. The bacon jam on the deviled eggs really compliments the eggs and sets them apart from average! The wings were well seasoned and the batter was crispy. They also had a vast selection of cocktails, beers and bourbon! All very reasonably priced too. The interior was clean and tastefully decorated. The experience as a whole would have been fantastic if not for the lack of service provided by our server. Unfortunately we did not get cocktails until our food arrived and it initially took her 10mins to greet us and the restaurant wasn't busy at 1:30p on a Saturday.

The food and drinks were amazing! I had a steak and salad it was so tender and seasoned just right....Longhorn what out!

Came here with some friends to eat and it was amazing. We got three appetizers. Chili cheese waffle fries--excellent. Cheese fritters--excellent. Deviled eggs-eggcelent. The deviled eggs had a bacon jam on them that really sets these deviled eggs apart.I had the Nashville Hot Chicken Mac & cheese. The cheese sauce was creamy, the pasta held onto the sauce very well, and the fried chicken was coated in a hot sauce that was delicious with just the right amount of heat.One of my buddies got a pecan cobbler with ice cream for dessert, that was so good. If you have room for dessert; that would be a very nice end to your meal.I plan on coming back and trying some of the bourbon drinks they offer, but this was a lunch on Sunday afternoon and I had to drive all the way back home, so unsweet tea was my drink of choice. But next time...

My first stop every time I'm in Jackson. Fantastic bites, delicious libations and good vibes. Ask for Zak, he recommends an " off menu " pizza with Nashville Hot Chicken and Mike's Hot Honey!!!! (I get it with the cauliflower crust) it should be a regular menu item!! Having lived in NYC for a decade this is a must. If you haven't been, run don't walk and finally experience a proper, hip restaurant in lil ol Jackson!! I return for the service alone.

Are they slow? Yes. Do wait staff check up on you, especially on solo diners? No. Do appetizer come at the same time as the entrees. Yes.Luckily the bar is partially walled to block the noise. Had bone-in rib eye with waffle fries and the duck roll. Tip: eat the fries first. They are really well done with crisp bite, wonderful flavor and perfect texture inside. Duck rolls were not quacked up to all the hype. Be prepared for duck pâté, with a slight livery flavor. Wrap was thick but had a bit of good crisp to it. I'm a prime rib person, so the rib eye was a sad substitute, with just the core being easy to eat, gristle surrounded most of it. The bone was French'ed stressing so that only an inch and a half was in contact with the meat.I was trying to give some business to a smaller chain than Outback (next door). Next time, Aussie, Aussie, Aussie!But might swing by for waffle fries to go.

Nice atmosphere and service. This was our first time here. We had the brisket slider and waffle fries which was delicious. We also had the sirloin steak and Mac and cheese. Steak had good flavor but was too chewy. Would definitely come back and would recommend.
