Bottoms Up Bar and Grill

If you love a good dive bar, delicious greasy bar food and arent scared of meeting genuine locals in a small town you will love Bottoms Up. They have pool, darts, golden tee and pinball. If you are looking for table service go to Applebees. If you take the time to learn the bartenders names, they will make sure you are without need, and if you say hi to the locals, they will remeber your name the next time you visit, even if its 3 months later. Now that i find myself on an extended visit of Union City, Bottoms Up has become one of my favorite bars.

I was walking out the the bank that I had just set up an account with; my first paycheck in a new town and state. I felt an urge to celebrate with food , as usual. My eyes fell upon the painted window."The best burgers in town" I walked in and immediately recognized the decor as early American "bar fight". I decided to sit down any way and order. I began to feel out of place , like I was interfering. Finally, the lady at the bar asked what I wanted. (when I got up and walked over.) I said that I saw the sign and would like to try a burger with onion rings and a soda. While I was waiting I heard about the sex life of every patron, male and female in the place. The burger was over cooked and the onion rings were bearable but when I got up to pay. There was a problem. The bartender gave me change back for a ten and I gave her a twenty. I know because the bank had just given me two twenties and that was all I had. I mentioned it and she told me that, in a not so polite way ,"no you didn't! ". By that time the conversations stopped and a big dude in a mullet stood up and stared at me. I didn't want to argue. I left the change that she gave me and walked out never to return.

Excellent food the service is great ambiance is very comforting it's a great place to go for dinner,the food is to die for they treat you like gold very good people I'm going to say more than five stars
