Cool little deli spot. I got a Togo order. The food was great. I had the beef and cabbage soup and it was hot and filling. It has beans ground beef, and other veggies. The Rachael was pretty good too. I love pastrami and there's was awesome. I would definitely come back. The prices are pretty reasonable and the downtown location has a early bird special before 11 am of buy one get one half off. Keep in mind that you have to call for daily soups and if your looking for particular desserts if doing online orders. Customer service was great as well, very sweet ladies.

Ordered the southwest chicken salad for pickup and it was really fresh and tasty! I think there could be more chicken on it so next time I'll order double however it was a great value for the size ($8.99).

Asked for a half Deluxe Ruben got a smoked Turkey one with burnt bread. It was a dine in order but they rang it up and boxed it to go. I don't think the lady taking our order was paying attention too well. The meat was good bit it's Boar's Head so it was gonna be good.

This is by far one of the best sandwich places in Memphis! The service is always great and they always get my order right. I've been going to different Bogies locations for years and this location did not disappoint. The staff at this location is super friendly!

A friend suggested this place for the great sandwiches. We decided to try them on my birthday when they offer a free lunch, up to $12, which I confirmed via an email to their website. Parking on the street is as expected for this part of the city. We parked around the corner in the ramp and paid $3 for about 2 hours. We intentionally went at 2 PM to avoid the lunch crowd. There was only one other customer in the store when we arrived and two of the employees were sitting at a table. I only know they were employees because they were wearing shirts indicating so, they looked at us but didn't acknowledge us.I announced my intention to utilize the birthday special to the cashier. She verified my birthday with my ID and explained she was not familiar with it then excused herself and went over to the table to consult with the women seated at the table. One of them loudly made a phone call to confirm that special was still available and then, clearly annoyed, told the cashier to give me a $10 credit. I didn't argue over a free $2 but the way it was handled made it uncomfortable. The cashier was either having a rough day or was still in training but since none of the other four employees around the store came to help her, I would assume the former. She was pleasant but struggling. It's a cute place, very clean with tables for two or four. They have an assortment of chips and cookies and drinks. Tea, lemonade and fountain soda are self-serve with free refills.I chose the corned beef sandwich and my friend got a cup of the soup of the day, vegetable beef, and a half BLT sandwich. The soup came in a coffee cup. It was cute but not the easiest way to eat soup. My friend said both items were very good.My corned beef was too large to finish in one sitting but yummy! So good in fact, I ordered another one to take home for my man. He loved it.I also brought home a caprese panini, which was highly disappointing. The fresh mozzarella was so sparse it was unidentifiable in the mushy bread by the time I went to eat it for lunch the next day. It was also bland and after two bites, I couldn't continue and discarded it. To be fair, I didn't eat it fresh but don't expect crunchy bread even if you do eat it right away. These Panini's are a soft bread with some light grill marks.Despite the delicious corned beef and my lunch mate's enjoyable meal, I have to give this place three stars for the Panini and more importantly, the service. When I went up to place my to go order, the cranky lady from the table came to assist me. She was as terse as she had seemed when verifying the lunch special. She wasn't outright rude but definitely a far cry from the friendliness I expected after reading other reviews. I will definitely be back, although I might try another location next time.

I've said it a million times and I'll say it again: these are the best sandwiches in Memphis...especially because of their oil. This is the tiniest Bogie's I have been in but still has the same great food. The service was the best I've seen and the lady behind the counter knew everyone's name. And if she didn't, she called them "ladybug"...adorbs. I'm on jury duty this week and I have a feeling I'm going to be overdosing on their pasta salad, which is also the best in the city.

You know - a good little sandwich shop is always helpful. No - it's not fine dining, but I was starving and had to leave another place due to poor service. I saw Bogie's Deli and thought it would be a good, low-maintenance meal - I was right. First off, the ladies working the counter were very nice. They took care of me. Great homemade potato soup served in a coffee cup - creamy, chunky, rich, cheesy. Ohhh baby. I had a simple turkey sandwich on French bread (i.e., a sub) - not too big, not too small. Boar's Head - always a plus, and they put a nice tangy oil based dressing on the tomatoes, which gave it a little kick. My only complaint was that I got a full sandwich versus a half with my cup of soup. I was stuffed, but I can't blame them - I have an overeating problem (and they did suggest the half-sandwich!).

My favorite lunch spot downtown! I recommend their soups, pasta salad, and the roast beef deluxe! They have a GREAT group of women working for them, too! Only downfall is that they're only open until 2:00 during the week and none on weekends, so make sure you visit them for lunch!

Today I enjoyed one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. I was staying at a hotel, and nothing else was open, so I went inside. It was more than amazing. Corned beef sandwich deluxe. So very fresh! And chicken tortilla soup. Hot and delicious. I'll definitely go here again. Even if I have to take an uber. It's worth it. Do yourself a favor. Two thumbs WAY up!!!
