I had really high hopes for this cute little diner. We had a great experience walking in, ordering & taking to-go. But the food wasn't edible. We ordered burgers, they lacked flavor majorly. There's not much else to say other than the food was less than enjoyable. Very disappointed.

The old school diner vibes are delightful. Checkerboard floor, red and white booths, metal accents and walls flush with old photos, records and memorabilia. It's a fun vibe no matter where you are. As for the food, it's simple and classic too. The majority of the menu consists of 'platters' that have your choice of egg, meat, potato and toast or biscuits and gravy. I didn't want a gut punch, so I went with toast alongside over-easy eggs, bacon and hashbrowns. The food's a little on the plain side. My eggs were a touch more runny/undercooked than I would have liked and then hashbrowns a touch dry. But when you put them together and slop them on generously buttered toast it's still satisfying enough! One of my colleagues had the biscuits and gravy and loved them. And it was delivered to the table quickly despite the whole town being in the diner, so that was cool.

Where do I start??? Bobby Gee's is a total treat!!! I had never heard of Bobby Gee's before today. My husband and I took the day off work to spend together and I turned to Yelp to find our lunch outing for the day. When we arrived, we found ourselves taking a trip back in time. This place really is a step back into the old school 50s & 60s diner. Now, let's get to the service and the food. We were waited on by Sarah and my Diet Dr. Pepper glass never got empty before she had a refill there waiting on me. We started off with an order of the fried mushrooms and those were some big mushrooms! They were hot and fresh. Then we ordered our meals. We got the double bacon cheeseburger and the Bobby G burger and we split the burgers so we could both sample them. That double bacon cheeseburger was huge!!! It was a 1lb burger and there was no way we could finish it. The Bobby G burger was perfect as well. We ended the meal with the fried Oreos that Sarah recommended and they did not disappoint. As for the prices, they don't come any more reasonable than Bobby Gee's. Our total was $38 for an appetizer, 2 drinks, 2 burgers with fries, and dessert. I'm telling you this place is a must!!!We met the owner, Mrs. Cindy, in the kitchen while she was busy cooking and serving up this delicious food. We made sure to tell her how great everything was today and what a true delight Bobby Gee's is! Put this place on your list if you're anywhere near McKenzie, TN...you won't be disappointed!!!

Do you like kick ass burgers?? We do. Boy do they have them here!!BG's is a local favorite for a reason. It's not a fancy place, but the sandwiches, etc are tasty!! They will make sure you are happy. The fries are pretty nice too.Whenever we go here, we say we are going to order something else to try. Then we smell someone's burger... and order another burger. One of these days we will actually order a different sandwich, I think!!

One of the best restaurants in West Tennessee! The food is fresh, hot, and always delicious. They serve breakfast all day! Bobby and Cindy, the owners, are always nice and greet everyone with a smile. The burgers are huge. The patties are thick ground beef, not thin frozen patties like some other places. When I was pregnant, I craved having a real cheeseburger from this place. The place is always packed for breakfast and lunch, but if you come at 11 a.m. or 1 p.m. for lunch it's easier to get in. No matter what time I go, the food has always been the same great quality. In the almost 6 years that they've been open, I've never had a bad meal.

Hubs and I were in McKenzie for the day to do some antique shopping. This was our first time at Bobby G's. We both ordered hamburger baskets. My side was onion rings. Hubs had fries. The hamburgers were excellent! They were hot and juicy. We had lots of lettuce, tomato and onions. The onion rings were not greasy and very crunchy! Hubs loved his fries, which were cooked fresh, not frozen. The hamburgers were large! We did not eat inside, but hubs said we should plan to do that next time, because of The interesting vintage theme there. They also offered one choice of plate lunch. That day it was fish, but the menu varies daily. i Highly recommend Bobby G's diner, but you'd best be hungry when you go there. Portions are generous!
