Went here for lunch and the food was pretty good. It did take a little time for the food during lunch I noticed so don't be in a hurry. I got the bacon cheeseburger and it was solid! Buddy got the cuban and he was not impressed. I was not impressed when i got the bill and noticed that they charged me for water .25 and then charged me another .50 for lemons for my water LOL. Oh well, maybe he should have told me that ahead of time so that i could decide to pay up for tea or soda. That is the first time ever that i have been charged for cup o water.

Been here quite a few times because they are one of the few restaurants that have gf buns. Sat there for over an hour waiting for our food and never got it, finally asked and the kitchen lost the ticket

Got off the beaten path today while in Batesville looking for somewhere other than our usual eating spots. So glad we made found our way to Bigs. The etoffee was phenomenal! Obviously cooked by someone who knows about the Cajun trinity. It was perfectly seasoned. The crawfish were plentiful and flavorful as well. Another one of our party had the Reuben, which was also put together well with the perfect combination of sauerkraut, thousand island, Swiss and meat. We were greeted with a warm welcome and sat immediately. Our young waiter gave 100%. He was attentive and was able to answer all our questions. Kudos to him! We are already looking forward to our next visit to Batesville.

I would've very easily rated this place a 5 star if it were not for the super duper SALTY pork skins and fries. We were just driving by and Yelp pointed us here. I ordered the Cajun shrimp poboy (with pork skin), and my kids had the cheeseburger (with fries) and plain hotdog (with fries). My hubby got some sort of a beef sandwich (with onion rings). Everyone's complaint were the very salty fries. And it's too bad because it could've been really good fries (texture-wise). The general ambiance is great though. It looks like a go-to place for locals and tourists alike. The general vibe is pretty chill for a small town. There's lots of kids and that's always a good sign telling me this general area is kid-friendly.

Being from out of town, we searched online for a great hamburger restaurant and found Bigs listed first in Batesville, so we decided to try it. They close at 3:00 pm on Wednesdays and we arrived at 2:10 pm. They have a good variety of options on the menu but we came for the burgers, so we both ordered the Old Fashioned Cheeseburger with fries and a beverage. Prices are over $12 for a burger and fries and with that in mind, we expected a really good burger. Sadly, both our burgers were over cooked and dry. The hamburger patties are hand pressed but small, more like a kid's size burger. If the cook had not pressed all the juices out of the burger when they were cooking it, it could have had more flavor. One of the burgers had way too much mayonnaise on it. I would have rated this place one star however, the homemade French fries were good, hence, they get one more star. The atmosphere is really lacking and needs refreshing. Seriously, it's just not worth $32 for two small burgers with fries and a beverage. Try something else.

The Pimento Grilled Cheese on jalapeño corn bread with fried Green tomatoes and bacon. Awesome!

Bigs was a BIG disappointment. We were trying to support the small businesses in this Covid time. The food was flavorless and cold. We are there as a family of 6, everyone was very grossed out. We didn't even finish our food and that is a rare thing when I have 4 boys. But it was that bad. I even had to get everyone at our table our own refills. We r from out of town and in our opinion that is unacceptable.

It was a nice addition to downtown. Great atmosphere. I felt the prices were a little high for sandwiches. Lunch for two was $24 with both getting sandwiches and soft drinks. Still great food, and the staff is friendly. We will go again, just not too often.

Fantastic place enjoys a great sandwich and side. Everything was in my Togo bag. Folks were courteous and helped me load my order. Definitely a go to destination
