Best Western Plus Executive Residency Jackson Northeast

I stayed here for work yesterday. There were issues at check in - I was told my employer hadn't paid and I would be billed the full rate instead of the discounted rate my employer pays. Fortunately we were able to straighten things out and I went to my room. After settling in for the night, I realized half of the outlets in my room didn't work. There was also a weird situation with bathroom light switches. The room was visibly dirty - there was hair all over the bathroom. The shower was filthy. The kicker was when I had to kill a roach in the bathroom. After finding the roach, I immediately went to check for bed bugs. When removing the bedding, I noticed there were stains all over the bed skirt. There was a really nice breakfast buffet, but I was afraid to eat any of it after my experience.

We rented a room with king sized bed. It had small kitchenette with plates, dishes, stovetop, refrigerator and microwave, but no place to sit but the bed. Only one desk chair, no couch or arm chair. The view was a concrete wall with air conditioning unit in front. There was a constant knocking 24/7, on the wall behind our bed. On the 3rd day of the visit, we asked at the desk for clean towels and were told they were in the dryer, but none were delivered later. The "free" breakfast was one of the worst I've eaten. Didn't go back after the 1st day. All in all for the price - terrible. Never stay there again.

Grew stay last night. The bed was really comfortable tons of really great pillows and bedding, actually slept good which usually isn't the case in a hotel . The towels were great for drying long hair , absorbent.Ok breakfast if you are gluten free or dairy free. Here's the info . They had Udi gluten free bagels which were surprisingly fresh and really good. The eggs had cheese in them so I chose the eggs whites with chopped vegetables but I didn't notice had cheese in them till I had almost finished them . There is a fresh waffle maker biscuits and gravy which my husband loved they looked delicious. Was very nice after driving all day to come into this hotel it had a huge fireplace was very inviting . The room was incredibly clean . Just very happy great stay nice employees too.

I am very disappointed in this property. If you were here a year ago maybe it was great. The elevator floors appear to not have been cleaned in DAYS! I changed rooms twice because the tile part of my floor was dirty and you could see trash on the floor; hair in the tub; stains on cloth chair; crumbs on the floor; QUESTIONABLE huge stain on the bed skirt, dusty; unwashed dishes; black electric tape on wall as if someone had something hanging and more. Thank God I brought my Lysol spray but it's bad. Oh, the carpet in my room or hallway has not been vacuumed. The MOD offered and did switch my room and it was still bad. He apologized and offered to comp my room. I told him I don't want a free room, I simply want a clean room. Even the television has finger prints. I spoke to a coworker and she said she never stays at BW's because they are always gross! NEVER, again!!!

The only complaint I have is the level of noise that travels through the floors. I'm a heavy sleeper and I was woken at 5 by a loud creaking sound. At first I thought it was an alarm beeping. Similar to a fire alarm with a low battery. But after laying in bed listening for 30 mins i realized it was the people above. Seemed like every time They stepped close to their door the floor screamed. Not to mention you could hear every step. Needless to say I checked out early to finish my drive since I couldn't get solid sleep once they woke up. If you are wanting to sleep in a bit (apparently later than 5AM) then this may not be the best stay for you. The hotel is a hotel. My room was clean but not spotless. If I had really looked I'm sure I would've found plenty. The bathroom was dirty but I've stayed in worse. Just not for the price point. Because of the shower head position and the door when you turn on your shower you have to get into the shower to turn on the water and get blasted by cold water (unless you have long arms. I'm 5'9) Rookie design. I also only had one towel. There was hair everywhere. Lots of soap mold. Bleach would probably do this particular bathroom a lot of good. I would NOT stay here again. I would NOT recommend unless it's your only option. There are cheaper places that offer the exact same experience that I had here. I believe that for this price point this stay isn't worth it.

We used Best Western Plus Executive Suites for our wedding weekend and did a block of rooms. Madison the hotel Coordinator for the block truly went above and beyond to make sure the weekend went smoothly and that everyone who booked there for the wedding did it under our block to ensure the best rate for all of our family and friends who came into town. The executive suites were spacious, clean, and we really appreciated having a door separating the bedroom from the rest of the suite. Our only complaint for the weekend was the lack of luggage carts but even still we made it work. Will definitely stay again!

Double booked when we were a party of 15. Did not have our rooms available, let alone the correct specifications (double beds, no kings). Also told us they were not sure if some of the rooms that were actually available were clean. This was at 4 pm. But to add insult to injury, they had the nerve to charge us for some of the rooms. Very unprofessional. Would not recommend. Probably needs to hire a new manager because the entire experience was ridiculous.
