Belmont Grill

Classic Memphis standard! Delicious burgers and onion rings, hotdog was fantastic too. This is a throwback diner/grill that feels like your childhood (80s baby:). It feels inviting, warm, cozy, like you are visiting your folks for dinner. Service was great! Order from the bar to go, everyone was very nice and food came out quick! (Always forget the picture, but it was delicious I promise!)

Absolutely horrible. Came here with a few people I know after they hadn't been there in six years. The last time they went they said it was amazing, we decided to go there for lunch. We had a party of seven so of course it takes a little while, it took especially long this time. We got our food. Burgers were tiny although they had a bunch of meat they were tiny. I asked for BBQ sauce and I got something that tasted like straight up ketchup. I was not pleased. Another person got BBQ wings which were coated in the ketchup sauce which was sour. The wings weren't tossed; rather threw sauce on it. It was messy. Found 4 hairs in 1 chicken wing. 3 of which were blonde and 1 brunette. Talked to the bartender and both guys cooking were bald meaning the waters must've tossed them. I was incredibly disgusted. Then found a eyelash on my onion and a bug leg. I was feeling disgusted after not knowing was in the burger that I didn't see. Please find something worth your money.Service- 7/10Food-1/10Atmosphere 8/10

Not the best of service, but they seemed to be short staff. Thankfully the food & company made up for it!

Very good burger. Great service. Dive bar vibes. Authentic and real. The type of place a man can sit down and believe he's going to have a tasty burger

Just had lunch at Belmont Grill today, and have always enjoyed it in the past. But, today was a total disappointment. I have always had the chicken livers marinated with water chestnuts wrapped in bacon and deep-fried in their batter, and today there was no water chestnut and no bacon. Very disappointing.I had even recommended this to a friend who had never eaten at Belmont before, and they were looking forward to the chicken livers and were also disappointed. Since they were a total failure today, I won't waste my time driving across town anymore, nor will I be recommending Belmont grill to anyone.

This establishment has been around for years and truly is a gem! I have never had a bad experience the countless times I've dined here. There are so many delicious items that you seriously cannot go wrong with whatever you choose! The food arrives quickly and is hot and fresh! Their service is always great and whoever works in the kitchen does an excellent job! I've had burgers, potato skins, onion rings, steak fries, chicken sandwiches, toasted ravioli, spinach dip, Reuben, French dip, fried mushrooms and loved every one of the items. I'm sure I've had other items but those are the ones that come to mind. The parking is a tad sparse but don't let it stop you from going!

Need to get back in the game. Belmont is a Memphis institution. But you can coast on your reputation only so long. Especially today restaurants need to step up their takeout game. Sending a burnt burger is not ding you any favors. recall in my childhood that they had excellent burgers but for many years I have tried to like them and it is not working... when you pay 43.00 for 3 burgers with fries you expect it to be edible.

ordered Cuban sandwich for takeout. ate half in a fairly dim room at home. put the rest in the refrigerator wrapped in a baggie. opened the fridge early the next morning and saw the sandwich had mold on it. I have no idea if mold was on the half I had already eaten but felt nauseous when I saw that.I can only warn you of my experience but I guarantee I will never go back again.Not even to ask for refund.BEWARE.

Had lunch at Belmont yesterday with my grandsons. The Belmont burger was every bit as good as when I first had it 35+ years ago. Excellent fries, and the hand-breaded onion rings could not have been better. The prices are a bargain considering the quality and quantity of the food. Has to be the best burger in Memphis. Solid, friendly service.
