Had Valentine's Day lunch with G and it was great!Roses on the table, a barbershop quartet and terrific service and tasty food. I had the Bang Bang Shrimp and G had Chicken Wrap. Shrimp were hot and spicy - cooked to perfection. The wrap was big and the fries were hot and crispy, perfect. Pepper was on top of the refills and took awesome care of us. ***** for service. A great place to celebrate Valentine's Day with my Valentine!

Was in town for overnight stay and happened to try this restaurant. We were not disappointed!!Ordered the fried green tomatoes, Steak Sammie and Ribeye. The ribeye was delicious!Server was awesome, great local vibe and very relaxing!Would highly recommend.

I made a previous visit to this restaurant, and we went again with a large group last night, and I definitely need to update my review. The servers are all amazing, and the food was fantastic. And they now have salmon on the menu, which I added to a salad, and it was very fresh and good. One good thing to know is that they charge extra for using a credit card, so remember to bring cash when you come.

DON'T eat here!!!!! Food is disgusting! I had the pastrami and it was all fat! My husband had the fish and chips and it was swimming grease, he had to wrap them in napkins to soak it up. Service was good, nice kid behind the bar. We also had the burnt ends... I'm sorry burnt ends and not post strips smothered in sauce to cover the dryness

Service is flawless chef Medina just understands flavor and how to complete a dish every single time I come here I leave impressed and full you actually get a full plate of food very decently priced calm beautiful atmosphere I highly recommend coming here

This place is just good every time. I gave 4 stars because as high quality, original and consistently good as it is, I feel like they could step up their fry game. I know, that is petty to take a star, I wanted to only take 1/2 so know my review is really a 4.5. Service is always attentive but not overbearing, it is casual, laid back in there and a truly unique place in a world of chain eateries.

Second trip here and I ordered the filet again because I could not stop thinking about it. Again, it was absolutely amazing! The main & sides were flavorful and cooked to perfection! The service was fast and friendly and I never had to ask for anything. I love the elevated food in a casual atmosphere vibe. I would not hesitate to take out of town guest here or even go for a special occasion.

The food has remained consistent, but the service is very lacking.Waitress forgot the drink order twice, then gave horrid sweet tea when ordered unsweet. Each time we had to track her down and she was standing in a nook around the corner on her phone, which was definitely more important.We got up and walked out. Not sure how long it took to notice that we had.

We visited Barrel House on a Friday evening, and we were seated promptly. Our waitress was at our table soon thereafter and we placed our order for an appetizer of fried green tomatoes. Usually I love fried green tomatoes, but these seemed to have a thick crust. They were kind of hard to cut and eat with my fork and they were served with some kind of relish and a hot pimento cheese. These weren't my favorite and my husband and I agreed that we probably wouldn't order those again. For my meal I ordered the smash burger. While it was tasty, it wasn't really a smash burger because it had two thick patties which made it hard to hold together while eating, but I made it work. The fries it came with were fresh and hot. My husband had the fish and fries, and that fish had great flavor! He loved it. The service from our waitress was stellar, too. I look forward to coming back to try some other menu items.

Always a joy and brunch is no different. If you have special requests (extra crispy, no added salt) just ask.
