Barbara's Dancewear

One of the best dance stores I have been in ever! I am a dancer and a dance teacher and it is difficult to find a store with a wide selection and a knowledgeable owner who can also fit Pointe shoes properly. The prices were affordable on the dancewear. Children, teens and adult dance wear were offered in leotards and skirts and shoes! Definitely recommend this place! Barbara is a wonderful owner and loved talking with her.

I cannot say enough wonderful complements of Barbara's Dancewear. Barbara is the nicest person you can meet. She is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. She will make sure you are completely satisfied with your purchases. She can fill special requests and is happy to do so. Store is filled with products for a quick stop or a last minute dance need. I would give her 100 stars if I could. If you are in need for dance apparel, do yourself a favor and go to Barbara's, you will not regret it.

Barbara was so helpful when we were looking for a solo costume for my daughter. She was extremely professional, helpful, and friendly. We will definitely be back during comp season next year.

This store is probably the only one in the area that sells specialty dance, ballet, gymnastics, tap and etc., clothing and footwear. Plus, they can order select fabrics and have custom designs created for you and/or your dance team and group. Items off the rack are a bit pricy and the hand-made items are as well. But for the 1-of-a-kind item that has quality and perfection that you can't get any where else then you should give them a try. This is a small family owned business and they are knowledgeable about the industry. This location on Perkins and Quince has probably been here over 20 years. I personally have never experienced rudeness and we are always acknowledged every time we enter the establishment. They know our coach and have built a lasting relationship with coach BJ. and coach K of the BJ Danz Starz Group. I was pleased with the performance dance uniform. As long as they use them we will return for my grand-kids team outfits and accessories...!

Good store with quite a solid variety of dance (ballet) clothes, specially for kids. The minus is their horrible service. I was in their store 4 times. The first time l ordered an item from their cataloque. On the pick up day it was not there, and l had to come back yet again. No apologies from employee A. Later l tried to order something else, and employee B promised to call back with the information "in a few minutes". The call did not come all day. I called the next day again, and this time employee C ensured to call back. It never happened either.Also, once l was there with my baby in a carseat, which l had put beside me on the floor next to the counter while talking to the employee. The dog of the owner, on a long leash, came around the corner to sniff my child! I had to protect her and carry her away immediately, pointed the safety issue out to the employee as well as to the dog / store owner, and both did not even apologize.I ended up ordering on Amazon as well as going to a dancewear store in Cordova. Both the variety of the items and the service there were stellar. And no roaming dogs, so my little baby was safe and thus l could shop lightheartedly!
