Balinese Ballroom

I am but a bridesmaid, my duty was helping stick to the itinerary. The parking, owner, space, staff - all top tier. Cheryl is an acutely adept wedding reception coordinator. She must have 11 kids, at least. How else do you learn to manage a staff of about 10, pay exquisite attention to dietary restrictions of the bride, communicate effectively, and not have any makeup run? She never wavered, nary a feather out of place. The whole experience was great. Everyone involved was professional and gracious; the food was delicious. Give homegirl a raise.

Went to a wedding there - great atmosphere BUT the food was horrible! Apparently you can only choose from 2 companies to cater and the food was cold - chicken was dry - the florist did a great job on the flowers so it was really pretty but food was so bad - put it this way - next time I get an invitation to a wedding there - I will make sure I eat before I go

My daughter was married in the upstairs ballroom on Oct. 6. From the first day we met with Ashton through the entire wedding day, I could not be more happy. The entire team was there to help us with anything. They used the bar side of the ballroom to get ready and there was plenty of room for the bride and 5 bridesmaids to have hair and makeup done there. They catered our event and everyone said the food was wonderful and the bar service quick and efficient. I provided a floorplan of the way we wanted the tables set up and all was perfect when we got there. The hardest part was getting all of the decorations upstairs (no elevator), but we had plenty of help. Jason's Deli delivered our lunch upstairs and so did Everything Bundt Cakes (our cupcakes). I can't say enough about the experience we had there. It was perfect. Thanks so much to the team that made it easy!

Great location! We had our wedding reception here. The building is beautiful and unique, we chose to hold the reception on the lower level. There is no elevator leading to the second floor, so we chose not to use it, so that our grandparents weren't going up and down stairs too much.The Balinese Ballroom offers catering packages, and the food was really good. I didn't get to eat much of it, but my guests were very happy with what was provided.This venue is perfect for those looking for an all-in-one package. The Balinese Ballroom will provide tables and chairs, linens, silverware, glasses, etc. Everything is built into very affordable prices.The owner, Mike, is a nice guy and we had the best time there at our reception. Side note: Mike also owns Ferraro's Pizza next door, which may explain the good food. I'd definitely recommend for any special occasion and definitely for weddings!

My daughter was married there on July 1, 2017. It was wonderful. We used High Point Pinch ballroom and it was perfect. They also catered the food and alcohol which was wonderful and took so much work and stress off of the wedding day. I highly recommend them. They furnished everything - tables, linens, etc. at a wonderful price.

I'm a photographer who regularly shoots late night events at venues around Memphis. I can't comment on the prices, catering, etc. but I can say with authority that the Balinese Ballroom is one of the best locations for party photography. Where most similar venues either have cavernous ceilings or they're black, BB has low white ceilings perfect for bouncing flash. The walls are a nice flat white too, pick a corner and you can use one as a seamless background and one as a reflector.
