We've eaten there a few times. The food is ALWAYS delicious. I love when it's a nice day in TN and they have the doors rolled up. I think they might do it to allow the sweet, sweet smell of their awesome food to spread around downtown. The main reason while I'll always go back is that Drew smoked a brisket flat for me. I was lamenting online that I didn't know how to cook it because we don't have a grill or smoked. A friend tagged Drew in the message and Drew graciously agreed. We are on that brisket for 4 dinners!!! It was so flavorful. I'm forever grateful for Drew's kindness. I hate wasting food, but I knew if I tried to cook it, I might as well have thrown it in the garbage.

Baker Bros. BBQ was so excellent last night that we had to come back for more today. I tried the brisket for the first time. Babyyyy, let me tell you, I was ready to drive to Texas and slap my Mamma cause she could learn a thing or two after eating that. Amazing! My belly is full now and its time for a nap and maybe dinner there again because we cannot get enough.

Best bbq in Jackson but also the best catfish plate! Good live music most weekends, too.

Brisket was tender and moist. Chicken was falling off the bone with crispy smoky flavor. Wings were perfectly fried and sauced. the bbq sauce was a little to strong in vinegar but that's just me. Not a fan of the sauce but the food quality and tenderness was great. The actual place has a really cool vibe. Our server was super sweet and accommodating and the cook/owner was really nice, he came out to say thank you. Definitely worth trying

One the nicest servers this side of the Mississippi!! Brisket was good. Sausage was kinda dry. Sweet tea was outstanding. Onion Rings were fantastic. Mac and cheese was good. But the service is worth everything to me. Our server was working the whole room, pouring sweet tea, fetch'n sauce, keeping everyone's order straight and she even knew all the words to the Hank Williams on the juke box.Such a southern treat!

I found my experience to be positive overall. I just thought the prices were super high. $10 for just a sandwich (no side no drink) was a bit much. Be for warned, their sauce is spicy so even the mild has a kick. The waitress was great the restaurant was neat, the prices were just a bit elevated from what I'm used to. The only real issue was when members of my party asked for dessert and were told they didn't have any.

Everything works. The employees are very accommodating. BBQ, done right in many different ways. BBQ NACHOS, BBQ pork sandwiches, BBQ plates with open face sandwich, fries or baked potatoes, BBQ Ribs. They have local bands that play on weekends and I have really enjoyed the atmosphere. They have garage like doors that they will open in spring, fall and when weather is suitable. A real Jackson, Tennessee go to place.

Rant moment. Baker Bros in Jackson just continues to disappoint. I've given them 4 chances and now I'm saying something. The last time it was a pulled pork baked potato with no butter, chives, or sour cream. I didn't order it that way, it came that way. Literally the driest baked potato I've ever had. Today I ordered pulled pork fries. There should be sour cream, chives, bacon, cheese, fries, and meat. There were no chives and bacon. And there is sour cream but it's like 1/4 of a teaspoon. What am I supposed to do with that? Then there's the cheese sauce. Let's just talk about that. I had to dig to find it and when I did, it looks like it was poured into the container and then the fries added after like a fry/cheese soup. Which just means everything is soggy before I even get to eat it. I called and explained everything (nicely at first) and their exact words were, "that's just how we assemble them." Okay sir, by that logic, if it's always been done horribly then horrible is correct? I did ask how I needed to order in the future to ensure this doesn't happen and his response was that I should order everything separate. So essentially, I should order all the ingredients from them and then make it myself. The did issue me a refund but the fries were so soggy I had to throw them away.In all, I'm still starving but Baker Bros is definitely stingy with their ingredients, unapologetically sloppy, and not worth your money. Rant over.
